I love this product! I recently rediscovered this in my make up box. I've been using lip glosses which I've now come to realize are drying my lips like crazy. I starting using this and it has totally helped to repair my lips. It is very moisturizing and the shade seems to flatter everyone.

* Me - NC30
* Pros - Nice color that can be darkened with a second application or as a base for a more dramatic or shimmery lip gloss on top.
* Cons - Not very long lasting unfortunately. This could be considered more like a lip balm-y than a true lipstick in my opinion. Maybe that's why it's called "Almost Lipstick"?
* Verdict - Works for me!

I really enjoy this color. One coat is super sheer, but two coats turns out a little dark on me which I love both looks so it works! Not very moisturizing like most Clinique sticks & fades pretty quickly for me, but I still think it is beautiful & unlike any others I have tried similar so I will continue to purchase! continued >>

Like most of clinique's products, this is more geared for pink/blue skintones. I have yellow nc-20ish skin and this didn't look very natural. It's suppose to be sheer but it does NOT work for every skintone. And it's not long lasting--faded within minutes of applying

This color, I believe, would look good on almost anyone! I am fair - and it looks great on me! Very sheer .... almost makes your lips have a "just kissed" look. The packaging makes it easy to throw in your purse and use to keep something on your lips all day long. it is not especially long lasting, however, its ease of use makes up for that. There is a reason this is a Clinique best seller! Definitely recommend.

I admit, I was skeptical. A color that looks good on everyone? Even incredibly pale me? No such thing.

But it does. It's not the shade you're going to reach for when you want that 'full face all done up' look, but when you're going for fairly natural and easy and everyday? Perfect.

I bought awhile back after a SA in sephora recommended it to me. I thought it was just meh. I didn't hate or love the color. I felt it was overrated. I wasn't too crazy about the packaging either. I ended up finishing the lipstick but I wouldn't repurchase again.

I either wear strong eye makeup, or strong lip makeup, and this is perfect for my heavily kholled and mascara'd days :)! It's indeed mlbb, although at first I kind of freaked out as it looks soooo dark in the tube! It looks like I wear just a lipbalm, very natural, and it's not drying. The tube is ok, but as others have mentioned, the cap tends to come off, so I always keep it in my small makeupbag, where it can cause no harm (or be harmed!!). No brainer musthave lipstick for everybody! Thank you reviewers and Makeupalley for yet another great beautybuy!!!

I really like this. It looks nice on my lips and I love the packaging. I dont, however, like the smell/taste of this. If it wasn't for that I would probably wear it more often. I keep it in my purse for when I'm out and about and my lipstick wears off I replace it with that because its a no brainer for me, I can swipe it on real quick without a mirror and know it looks alright.
