I really wanted to like this .. but I couldn't get past the smell. To me it was much too strong, and sweet, mixed with something else that I just didn't like. I didn't even manage to use half the bottle before giving it away.
As far as how it worked, for me it was just OK. It moisturized some, but mostly seemed to sit on my skin, and refuse to soak in, which is rare for me since my skin is so dry. It didn't manage to keep dryness away for very long, and I kept straying back to other lotions, even when I was trying to make myself use this.
When my best friend came into my dorm room and basically said "eww, what's that smell?" it cinched the deal, and I offered it to everyone who came past my room until I found someone who liked it.

I'd almost given up on finding the perfect body lotion but i found this. Unlike many girls who have tried this, i have found that it absorbs well. Maybe its my thirsty Scottish skin (!) but it really does the job and makes me super soft. The price is excellent and the scent seems to last for hours. Its a lovely comforting smell that reminds me more of coconut than milk and honey. Its a great all round product that doubles up as a good hand lotion too.

I love the milk and honey smell of this product. It's very fragrant but simple. This lotion absorbs rather quickly and will keep your skin feeling great for the whole day.

I just love this moisturizer! It smells so good (sweet, but not in an artificial way) and it's almost 100% natural! I gave it four lippies instead of five because it does take longer to melt into your skin. The whole Burt's Bees line is really just amazing. Plus, they do NOT do animal testing!

Smells so good! Its thin and doesnt sink in very well but I love the smell its not fruity and fake but it just smells so good!

This lotion is a great moisturizer during the cold, dry winter without leaving my hands feeling sticky and oily. The cream is nice and thick, even my boyfriend likes this for his super dry knuckles. The scent is subtle and comforting smelling.

I've tried this several times, in the summer and winter, but like all Burt's Bees products, it doesn't do enough for me. I have normal skin and live in a climate that's humid and hot in summers and cold and dry in winters. This lotion smells great and feels nice going on, but it's one of those moisturizers that sinks right in and disappears. In the summer, I feel it on my skin but my skin just still feels greasy and dry. In the winter I can get itchy skin right out of the shower, and just applying this stuff only makes the itching worse.

I love this lotion. Moisturizes very well and not sticky or greasy afterward. Smells great.

My husband has gone through bottles of this, he loves it!! I however have mixed emotions on it, I love the smell, makes me want to snuggle up and crash out, but on my skin it feels really heavy and waxy, I've really only found that baby lotion works 100% for me. I will be buying again, and again, for him. :)
