My HG scrub! Does a great job at removing flakiness, no scent or irritants, and makes skin smooth and invigorated. I use this about two times a week just to remove flakiness, especially in the winter.
meh... I like the super exfoliating scrub better. I only bought this when I didn't know there was a scrubbier version for oily, acne-prone skin.
I like the gentleness of this scrub - I alternate it with the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, which provides more vigorous exfoliation. I use Retin-A Micro, so I need something to get rid of flakes and loosened blackheads, but the St. Ives is sometimes too harsh for me to use when the Retin-A is really drying me out. This is a nice, gentle alternative. And you can use it before a night out, because it doesn't make you red and blotchy like more hard-core scrubs sometimes do.
a good scrub, on the gentle side but still effective. i like clinique's exfoliating scrub - it's more exfoliating, i think - but i loathe the menthol in it. this is gentler, but still scrubby enough to work - and it does not leave my face cool and tingly. decently priced, too.
I did not like this at all. It broke me out and it did not rinse off well. No, I will not use this again.
Too harsh for me, had to return to the counter. Maybe I'm not oily enough to find it's good anyway...
I have a GWP size, and it's actually a nice, relatively gentle scrub, but nothing to write home about. Baking soda mixed with my cleanser works just as well and is practically FREE. This tube is going into my overnight bag so I can "scrub on the go", so to speak, since I don't carry baking soda with me. As a GWP, it's not useless like some of the GWP's are, but there's no way I'd pay $16.50 for this.
I really like this. I use it before my 3 step in the mornings. I like the fact that it is effective and yet it is creamy and doesnt scratch like most scrubs. Not for use as a body scrub though, it is made for the face only. For the body I like the Sparkle Skin cream exfoliater. I find it works alot better if I use the facial soap afterwards. This is great!
Generally, I use this product a few times a week before my daily 3 step skincare. I have used both the scrub in a jar and the rinse off formula in a tube. I don't find a huge difference between the two formulas, honestly. Both polish my face reasonably well. However, I have found that the jar is the better deal mainly because you get slightly more product for the same price, but also it's tough to get that last little bit of product out of the tube. Some prefer the hygenic properties of a tube versus a jar, but I don't really have a preference. I like this product, though I have not tried many scrubs so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I find that it does leave a film on my face, but I make sure I wash my face really well after I use it and I haven't had any problems with it otherwise. I can't imagine just wiping this off of my face and leaving it. I think this scrub is too heavy for me to do that. If you have very dry skin, it might work just wiping it off, but I really don't know. The 3 step works much better if your skin can handle this kind of exfoliation a few times a week. And I find that my moisturizer works better and my makeup goes on smoother when I exfoliate. Overall I am satisfied with this product. If you have very oily skin this may not be the best choice.
