I really like this eye makeup remover - it gets all my makeup off without a hitch. However, I will not be repurchasing this because the Clinique makeup remover does exactly the same thing, but it's not as expensive.
Worst makeup remover ever!
I'm a university student on a budget, so I rarely purchase department store brand cosmetics. After having a decent experience with the Maybelline Expert Eyes Eye Makeup Remover Pads, my greedy self wanted to find something better. The solution? Buying a department store brand makeup remover. So after reading all the rave MUA reviews on this product, I bought the Lancome Bi-Facil Double Action Makeup Remover.
Turns out that it was a complete waste of $26.00 USD.
When I tried to wipe off my makeup with this, it worked. It didn't wipe off with a few swipes (more like 15), but it still worked. So why am I giving this product 1 star if it works? Because it's more like a bottle of oil than a bottle of makeup remover. When I wipe it on my face, I feel like I'm sweeping on olive oil! NOT good--especially since I have super oily skin! I really wanted to toss the bottle for good, but I had no other makeup removers around (not even basic soap). So I was forced to used this. By the time I finished wiping off my makeup, my entire face looked like a greaseball, and I had already used a THIRD of the entire bottle!
If I wanted a greasy face, I would've bought baby oil or used lotion instead. If I wanted to spend $26, I would've went to the movies. If I wanted to feel as disgusting as that, I would've chowed down 10 Big Macs. Either way, I would've saved a lot more money.
Besides buying the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural, buying this was the worst makeup product I've ever bought.
My friend introduced this to me while at work and my mascara was flaking horribly. She had a sample size in her purse and I fell in love with it. People describe it as oily, but not really for me. I have tried Almay's makeup remover with oil and this is so much better. Before purchasing this I used olive oil to remove my makeup, but I wanted something small I could carry with me in my purse for emergencies. When I went to buy this, they only had the large bottles available for purchase, so that is sorta a downfall for me. I just can't fit this bottle into my purse. I guess I could pour it into another bottle however I want something that is leakproof. Also, the formula separates and you need to shake it up before using.
The product itself works really well. It is a little expensive however it does last a while. It leaves no heavy residue and gets my makeup off pretty well. It does not sting if it gets in my eyes, and it gets rid of my 24/7 eyeliner and primer really easily.
I'll buy this product again....once I get a better job or get a raise at work :).
It works - just remember to shake it before each use. The bottle emptys too fast for the $$ that it costs. It does leave an oil residue on my face so I usually end up washing my eye area really well afterwards. I've bought other brands since - - this works better - but for the money I'm not sure if it's worth it overall.

I only use this one when I have waterproof eyeliner or mascara on. Otherwise I use the regular effacil eye makeup remover, because it doesnt have the oily feel that this one has. I hate the oily feeling that this product gives me. It's just really uncomfortable.
It gets the job done, though.
The one I have has one of those special caps on it, where you have to press it first, and then twist it. I spilled quite a lot once, when I was opening it. Kind of unnecessary, because it's not medicine or anything of the sort.
Great product. Removes all your make up gently and effectively with no tugging. Does not irritate my sensitive skin. I even use it all over my face to remove my waterproof sunscreen and it's never made me break out or made my skin feel greasy. I love this product.

I had a sample size of this when I went to purchase their foundation and I was skeptical of this product cuz it reminds me of the cliniques eye makeup remover (which I absolutely hate!!!). Soooo giving this a try, I was thinkking i was going to hate it. Turns out, i really like this stuff! It takes out my eyemakeup really well & doesnt sting at all like the clinique one! I might consider buying the full size one when mine runs out because its gentle of the eyes. My only downfall to this product is the smell >,< Im not a fan of the rose smell but it does go away.
Update: Bought the full size! HG makeup remover for my eyes :))) continued >>
i have the tester size of this. i an conviced to buy it. for me, it has worked great on my mascara and on my fluidline eyeliners. i dont have to rub, i only have to pat an the make up is removed. any types of eyeliners and it removes so easily, there is no rubbing involved. it is gentle on my eyes and does not make it feel dry or sticky, and does not remove the glue that holds my eyelash extensions in place. love it!
i think that this is the best eye make up remover ive tried. i will actually go and buy the full sized bottle on ebay as its cheaper there.
This removes all waterproof makeup quickly and cleanly. The only downside is that this is quite expensive.
This is a great product, if you know how to use it properly.
Pros: it removes basically all eye make up.
It smells lovely
Cons: when using a cotton pad, it feels like im stripping my face for skin
Loreal has a similar product, which to me is way better, and cheaper.
Runs out rather quickly.
