I bought this because I loved the original Falsies, but this stuff is awful! It was too wet, made my lashes stick together, and didn't do anything "flared." On the plus side, it is super cheap. I have long lashes already and I didn't feel like this mascara did anything for them. My lashes lost their curl after about an hour and I was really disappointed in the product in general.

Ewww. This is probably the worst mascara Ive ever tried. Ive used it four times and each time I got gross spidery, clumpy, flaky, disgusting lashes. This is a horrible mascara. I got no volume or length either.
Seriously dont buy it.

Generally I dont like Maybelline mascaras. They're pretty much the low end of drugstore mascaras. But I went ahead and bought this one because it promised a false eyelash look, and I love dramatic lashes. When I first tried it on I was impressed. It gave my lashes alot of volume and a good amount of length. I wouldn’t say my lashes looked like falsies, though. It was more like an upgraded version of original Volume Express. One 'con' I should mention that really turned me off of this mascara is that I noticed that if you let this mascara semi-dry before your next coat, it clumps like crazy. And this stuff dries really fast. And I also noticed that the tips of my lashes would slightly curve down. It was weird, and after it happened on several occasions, I tossed this in the trash. If you want dramatic lashes you have to try L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes. That one is amazing. Of all the mascaras I use, I always return to it.

I decided to try this mascara, because I love that winged, separated look with a nice amount of length and volume. After trying this, my lashes looked quite opposite than what I expected. On the model, the mascara had just the look that I wanted to achieve. When I tried it, it clumped immediately and did not lengthen my lashes. Bad, thick consistency as well. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I usually like the slanted brushes. I remember owning one my Cover Girl (Wondercurl?) and then there was one by Avon a while back called Curly Girl, which also worked beautifully. I keep this Mascara as a "spare," but it is definitely not an everyday mascara for me. I would not purchase this mascara gain. Even for the price, there are way better mascaras out there.

Terrible, actually the worst mascara I've tried. I had tried the regular Falsies before and liked it. I thought this would be as good, if not better. This actually made my typically long looking lashes look shorter and straighter. Also, it flaked really bad within an hour or so of putting it on.

Mabelline's Volum'Express Mascara (very black) really insinuates my thick, long eyelashes. Ladies and Gents what I recommend before using a volumizing and/or lengthening mascara is to first use a conditioning mascara which is very healthy for your lashes (e.g. Neutrogena's Volumizing Mascara- absolutely amazing, will bring out each eye lash strand. Neutrogena's Nourishing Eyeliner also glides on and gives definition more than any other eyeliner I've tried). I then finish it off with Mabyelline's Volum'Express Mascara- this way you can avoid clumping and you'll have an overall natural look to your lashes. Revlon's Volumizing Mascara is also awesome if you would like to avoid clumping at all, but I love Mabelline's Volum-Express too because it adds curl definition to my lashes and the brush really bends like a spoon as you're applying your mascara. As far as removing my mascara, I use Mary Kay's Oil-free Make Up Remover which is very gentle on the eyes and lashes. I hope this review helps.

This was an emergency mascara purchase after I discovered that I left my mascara at home while visiting family for a week. My cousin uses this and likes it so we went to Target and picked this up so I wouldn't have to go bare lashed. Normally my favorite mascaras (the ones I use daily) are Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill and YSL Faux Cils.

My only hope for this one was that I'd get super dark lashes with some volume. It was decent for a week, but the amount of flaking is terrible and they were irritating whenever they got into my eyes. That and the smell are the worst qualities. Also, as for a flare... I can't imagine how a mascara formula can offer flare. Technique/application can, or individual falsies maybe, but not the mascara itself.

This has a dry formula, which I prefer to the more wet versions, so that was a plus. It actually holds a curl pretty well. My lashes are already fairly long and I didn't notice that it added much length, which is fine by me. The volume was average and I would have liked to see more impact. I couldn't build the volume because it clumps very easily. I liked that it washed off easily with my regular cleanser.

Overall this was better than I expected but I tossed it out as soon as the week was over.

I liked this mascara. It gave dramatic lashes and was easy to take off. My only complaint is it flakes from use after awhile.
