This foundation is FULL coverage without the heavy build up. Your face feels light and smooth. The color selection for african american skin tones are horrible though. I switched to something else because there wasnt a clear shade for me. Over all this is a great foundation. It truely is superstay. But beware it does transfer. Not as much as other foundations though.
I don't understand why a lot of foundation has a pump in UK version and not US !!!! Are we less sanitary here in the US??? IF you know the answer, please message me. I am getting annoyed.
Anyway, This foundation is great if you can get a match. The color selection is very limited and they are mostly pink undertone. I bought this in classic beige because this is the only yellow undertone I found. The coverage is medium to full because I feel like I don't need a concealer using this foundation. The finish is satin. I love how it stay on forever and doesn't oxidize like the Revlon colorstay does. This is probably the best foundation I have found in drugstore so far. I haven't try the Covergirl Natureluxe yet so we'll see.

I love this foundation! I have quite fair skin and baught this in ivory and it pretty much matches my skin, which is hard to find in 'ivory' in highstreet stores. The coverage is medium - full, very close to full on my skin with just red cheeks to cover. No exact need for a powder as the foundation is not oily at all! However doesn't dry the skin out.
One word - oxidises. You walk out the door in the morning thinking you're looking pretty good and the foundation is sitting pretty well (maybe a little thickly) but after a few hours you're orange. Glass bottle, no pump which I don't particularly hate but some people do. I've tried different moisturisers and primers under this as well as nothing at all and to no effect. It's a shame cause otherwise it's not too bad.
First time review posting on my iPhone. I purchased this foundation for less than $8 at walmart. I have been using 3 different brands of foundation within the last year and have to buy 2 shades and mix them in all 3 brands. I decided to give this a try after watching thebombeshellsuite on YouTube say she loves this foundation.
I got the color classic beige. I apply it with a MAC 190 foundation brush, using mac's prep and prime first.
This is my second day wearing it. It glides on smooth. It looks quite yellow when it firsts goes on then dries to a perfect color. Always err on the side of yellow though - never, ever pink! Pink is hideous in foundation. Here's my side rant: all women have multiple tones in their skin, some of us are more pink, some are more yellow, but the other tones are
still present. I am pink undertoned, yet would never want to play that color up with foundation. Pink undertoned foundation should not even be sold. This is also said by Bibbi Brown. She doesn't even offer a foundation with pink undertones.
So anyway, superstay has better colors compared to colorstay, which is one of the 3 foundations I use, the other 2 are Estee Lauder doublewear and Clinique
Petfectly Real. Again, all 3 of those take 2 shades mixed to match me. So for under $8 I've got a foundation that us a great match, is medium to full coverage as Revlon Colorstay, and in my opinion, covers better with a more Dewey finish that looks like your skin, just flawless. I'm very happy with this makeup and I would NEVER have worn Maybelline foundation in the past. I resisted Colorstay for years, as a total department store snob- at least in the foundation department.
Ad a matter of fact, I am waiting on my order of Vichy Dermablend foundation, do I will be reviewing that and updating the superstay after more use.
Also I want to add that I demand a lot from my face makeup. I'm 37 and have had great skin all my life and here lately it's not been as great so I need to make it look as if it is. I have no wrinkles just minimal fine lines in a couple of places. I get shocked reactions all the time when anyone finds out my age. So, i have stringent needs from a foundation.

I don't know why people give this product so bad reviews, I love it :) I will be comparing this to the Origins Youthtopia SPF 15 in shade 04, It was too dark for me, but matches fine with a tan. I'm using the Maybelline Superstay in Ivory and that suites me fine with and without a tan ;P
PRO'S
# It matches your skin tone easily
# It has a pump
# It blends easily
# It dries after it's been blended, so you don't really need setting powder
# It lasts for 24HR like it says
# You can't feel it's on
# It's can be used as a full coverage foundation or a light coverage foundation, you can build on it.
CON'S
# It's a small bottle
# The pump doesn't reach the bottom.
I am surprised by the bad reviews on this product, especially compared to Revlon Colorstay that has much higher reviews for what I think is a slightly better product. I personally love this foundation. I believe that if you have more pink undertones (cool undertones), I would definitely recommend colorstay over the superstay, but if you have yellow or golden (warm) undertones, this foundation is for you!!!! I bought the classic beige (even though I would say I am a NC20 in the winter and NC25 in the summer). Maybe I have more of a tan right now than I think.....at least my body is really tan right now. But this confirmed, without a doubt (because i have been told that I have all different kinds of undertones by SAs) that I have neutral with yellowish undertones. I couldn't get Revlon's colorstay to match my skin, even remotely, even when mixing two colors. Superstay "melted" into my skin. It is truly a perfect match. Now, I could probably go down a color to sand beige, but for now, this really ties my body and face together with NO de-markation. I will sum up the rest of this review below....
PROS
-Blendable.....I use a stippling brush (Ectotools) and this is so easy to apply (much easier than Revlon's CS where one application was truly heavy and you had to work so fast because it dried so quickly). I just stipple on and go around in circles to even out all over my face.
-Buildable.......you can apply a lighter layer for going to the pool (like I did today) or heavier for an evening out (again, cannot do this with colorstay because it's just too heavy even with the lightest of applications). I love how it almost "melts" into my skin.
-Natural......When applying a light layer, looks WAY more natural vs. colorstay (but that could also be because I could not find a color match in colorstay)
-Great color match........Color match is SPOT ON (I also don't feel like i have to add more color, like a bronzer, all over my face to match the rest of my body). I just add NARS on my cheeks and I only need a tiny bit.
-Wears long.....don't need to touch up much
-Hardly any additional concealing.......Don't need hardly any concealer with this and if I do, it blends in so much better than with colorstay
-Easier to remove.......A lot easier to remove than colorstay........instead of 4-5 cotton balls, this washes off and takes only 1-2 cotton balls with jojoba oil to remove. Also with colorstay, I felt that there was always a layer still on my face.
CONS
-Pump please!
-Did get a little shiny (but I was in 90 degree heat with two kids at the pool)....nothing a little rice powder couldn't take care of and looked great again
-A little transferable, but nothing like bareminerals that I used to use
Will keep wearing and HOPEFULLY it won't cause breakouts. That would be the only down fall. I am really hoping for the best!
EDIT: Really? Really? It cannot be true. This morning I looked like a bronzed goddess. The color matched perfectly, the light sweep of my bronzer gave my makeup just the right touch and *bam* after 16 hours of wear, I looked like an ashy oompa loompa. Seriously, I cannot quite describe the color to you.....it didn't oxidize to orange, but rather a greyish, brownish, organgish mess. The foundation itself stayed put, but what happened to the gorgeous color that configured my skin this morning. I did look in the mirror this afternoon and saw a little oxidization, but nothing terrible. Later, I was out talking to my neighbor and she kept looking at me weird and after I got inside, I realized what she was looking at. To top it off, I got a few little sweat zits as a side present as well (but who wouldn't in this hot weather running after 2 kids). Back to the store it goes. Still an amazing foundation if it didn't oxidize! It may be that I need a lighter color too, but I think I may try Estee Lauder's double wear first, so I will keep this at 4 lippies for now.
Edit #2: Tried double wear and it puts this stuff to shame! LOVE, love, love DW and I've already received several compliments. :)

Finally maybelline have came out with a long lasting foundation that WORKS! I love this product, it's really light in texture, not heavy at all and what I like best of it is that has great coverage, lasts long and blends with your skin well.
The biggest problem I think women have when it comes to buying foundations in my opinion, is that they buy them in the wrong shade. They either buy too dark foundations or too light. With myself, I range from anything to light beige to light honey, and with this particular foundation I bought light beige. I really like how this shade leaves your skin bright and illuminated. I didn't want to buy a foundation that has a rich hue, bronzer does that for me. I prefer to have a foundation as close to my skin tone as possible!
Maybelline have a brought out this foundation in a really wide range of shades, which is really good if you are pale like me who doesn't want to to look OTT with foundation.
PROS:
- Leaves skin with a nice healthy look
- Illuminates skin
- Really good coverage
- Hides dark circles/blemishes, it works well without a concealer
- Wide range of shades to accommodates for all.
CONS:
- A tiny flaw in this product is that it left my skin a little bit dry, but I now use moisturiser (as you should always do!) before I apply it.
- A tad expensive, but I guess it's because it's new!
I love this product, I'll definitely be buying this again!
Almost certainly the best foundation I have ever tried! I have very oily/sensitive skin, so I have to be very careful with my make up products. My foundation especially has to be long lasting, but gentle, and this does the trick perfectly! I do tend to buy foundations in the lightest shade possible, and in the past even the lightest shades are too dark. Well, this one's lightest shade not only was lighter than my skin, but when applied correctly makes it look natural with a near flawless coverage. It has SPF 19 (the one which I have), some lovely packaging, and just needs setting with a bit of powder to make it last longer. With a primer this foundation can last all day in the blistering heat. I looked fine when I came back to the hotel after a day at a music festival. My only qualm is that sometimes it oxidises a little orange, but that can generally be rectified with a brush of light powder.
I love this product over the colorstay. I have suuuuuper oily skin so this product without a primer is a nightmare. With a primer for oily skin (I use the urban decay face primer) you have magic the foundation last literally all day. I have been using this product since January and and I still love it and it has yellow undertones :)
