This is the only foundation I will use now. I am on my second bottle. Although I don't see the dark spots lightening up much, I will stick with this because I love it so much. I have oily skin prone to breakouts. This foundation does not cause my skin to break out and stays beautiful all day long with almost no need to touch up. It stays on the skin well and looks like you just put it on even after a long 9 hour day at work. I do have to use concealer on some of the darker spots, but it really evens out the lighter ones and also does well covering the red splotches. The look and feel is very light, almost like not wearing any make up. I apply it with my favorite Max Factor sponge which is no longer available. I highly recommend this foundation. It does it all - but again not sure it is lightening my dark spots much. I found the perfect match with #05 Neutral (MF-N) which I think is Medium Fair Neutral. Love, love, love it!

I LOVE this foundation! It gives great coverage and feels lightweight and silky on my skin! I love the squeeze bottle because I can use it all, no broken pumps to deal with! I find applying this with my fingers works the best, the heat helps with blending and it doesn't waste the product. The finish is slightly dewy, but not overwhelmingly so. I highly recommend!

UPDATE (15/02/2012): i find the best way to apply this foundation is with the fingers blending from the center of your face & outwards, not with a stippling brush like i mentioned before. then blend a bit further/take down the harshness with a dampened sponge.
NW20ish, neutral fair-to-light skin tone, black hair & brown eyes. freckles/sunspots on cheeks & prone to brown spots following clogged pores/acne/irritation. while i cannot comment on the spot-fading powers of this particular foundation (seeing as i've only used it a few times now), i can comment on the formula and wear.
this is a very liquid foundation, lightweight and easy to wear. i am very anti-foundation, that is, i hate the "look" that some foundations tend to give, kind of mask-like or spackled on - thus up to this point i didn't really use foundation, other than a dusting of bareminerals here and there and spot-concealing using MAC's pro longwear concealer. EBM is lightweight, almost like a runny tinted moisturizer. it goes on with a dewy finish, not flat matte or dry looking. it comes packaged in a tube with a pointy tip, and while it isn't fancy or nice to look at, is hygenic and easy to control. decent range of shades - although if you are very pale or very dark it may not be the right range for you (i am NW20ish and was matched with the palest, 1 alabaster, but could have gone with 2 ivory also). there is spf 15 which isn't very reliable with typical application - however it will still provide SOME sun protection.
it's a sheer-to-medium foundation in terms of pigment and does a good job looking skin-like as opposed to foundation-like, although it isn't very buildable after a certain point. i used a blob about the size of a pea on my whole face and everything looked pretty even. it will not cover very dark spots or freckles but it will even out all the redness and splotchiness, making your skin natural and clean looking. i have dry-combination skin that leans dry in the harsh canadian winter and this did not dry my skin out or leave it feeling tight, which i appreciate. in my experience as long as i don't glob it on it does not transfer a lot after you set it with some loose powder (currently using estee lauder lucidity in translucent).
the formuation lasts pretty decently - it didn't turn patchy or oxidize, even when i was sweating while running for the commuter train in a giant winter jacket. overall what i loved the best about this foundation was that it eliminated the icky "i'm wearing stuff on my face" feeling i generally associate with liquid/cream foundations, and that it was easy to apply (i dot on little blobs with my fingers then use a stippling brush or foundation brush, dampened, to blend outwards). i would buy it again, i like the clean look it gives and the fact that it doesn't separate on the skin or transfer onto clothes, even when i'm sweating or wearing a greasier sunscreen. good for work (i have yet to test how photogenic this foundation is), providing a polished but natural look to your face. i apply this directly on top of my daily sunscreen (la roche posay antihelios spf 60), no primer, and it still works great!
will update to let you know if the spot-fading claims are true - if it fades some of my brown spots it would be even more perfect than it is right now (and for which i will add 1 lippy - this is tentatively a 4-lippy foundation because i don't know if that part of the claims are true yet). continued >>

I've been using this for about a month now - it took me a little bit of time to figure out the best way to apply. Now that I have it down in a way that works well for me, I really like this foundation.
I don't like to look very made up when I'm just off to work, so at first I struggled with this because I was just applying too much. I was in a habit from my previous foundation, I guess. At any rate, Even Better offers surprisingly nice coverage when you use very little product. I mean, I use a pea sized amount to cover my whole face, and I love it. On some days I don't even need concealer! This bottle will last a long time at this rate.
My skin is fairly dry, but I get hormonal breakouts occasionally - this wears well, isn't too matte, and has a lovely finish. I wouldn't say it's my holy grail foundation, but I will definitely purchase again and it is what I'm wearing daily until I find the holy grail!

I was so excited when the girl at the department store tested this out on me. The color and coverage looked awesome. However, it didn't look nearly as good in natural light. It was too pink for my skin tone and I realized the coverage wasn't as great as it looked indoors. I was going to just exchange for a different shade and try a different way of applying it, but I suddenly started breaking out like CRAZY! I have clear skin, so this was not normal for me. I got deep, painful cysts on my forehead and around my chin around the second day of using this. And I mean clusters of 5 or 7 breakouts in each area. This is the only new product I've added to my regime so I'm positive it's the reason. So disappointed it didn't work for me.

I finally found a foundation that I like! I never liked wearing foundation because they all were too heavy, cakey or felt like a mask. None of this with the "even better". I'm allergic to perfume so I was automatically drawn to Clinique when I went looking for a foundation. And because I also have a lot of acne scaring I wanted to try this one out. I went to my local counter and was matched to the shade "alabaster" (I'm about NC20 in MAC). And I must say - this foundation changed my make-up routine. I'm not breaking out from it, I'm not feeling cakey, my flaws get covered up and even if I didn't believe it - my acne scares are almost gone now (after about 3 month of using it). I just love it. You can easily apply it with your fingers. It has a rather dewy finish so I always set it with a powder through the T-Zone. I will never stop using this foundation since it finally gave me what I always searched in foundations. For this sake I will pay the 30€ for it.

After my shade was discontinued from Clinique's Perfectly Real Make Up line (shade 38G or something), I was very pleased to find this product. It matches my skin tone perfectly! I usually have the worst luck matching colors, but Clinique has just right variety (finally).
I use #30- Toffee shade. It has better coverage compared to PRM and still feels light weight. It blends in very well with just my fingers. I still find the need to blot my T-zone mid day, but not really a big deal.
I switched to this from the Perfectly Real makeup. I thought I loved Perfectly Real but this foundation is much better (to me). It gives more coverage and is less greasy. Also, this shade matches my skin tone better. Perfectly Real had an undertone that was too cool for my skin. My skin is not that bad off, I have a few dark spots on my cheeks and this covers them perfectly giving my skin a flawless, yet realistic glow. It looked like my skin. It also lasted all day, but my skin isn't oily so I don't know how it would fair with those of you with an oilier complexion. I had used MAC but their foundations always felt either too goopy for me (liquid) or too drying (powder and creme to powder). They also caused breakouts and I always had that "makeup" look on. This is a realistic-looking foundations, gives great coverage and feels pretty light. I set it with powder and I'm good to go all day. I LOVE it!
I have used this since october last year, and really like this product. You only need a tiny amount to cover one part of the face (I say approx 1 pea size amount for one cheek) and when used with a foundation brush, covers the area and spreads really well. I suffer from spots quite often and due to me keep popping them caused scarring on my face (I have uneven skin tone basically). This product hides these scars pretty well and blends very well with my natural skin tone. I wouldnt use too much of it as using small amounts doe's the job better then piling the same product over and over giving a fake look.
Also, because of the small amount you use each time, it lasts for months. I am still using the same bottle I started off with back in october and I feel it has at least one more month left!
The only criticism I have is that it doesn't really hide the really dark areas of my uneven skin tone, but then yet again its not meant to give a completely even skin tone, it just helps to make the face more even with your natural skin, nothing more.
Really do recommend this product, it may be expensive but it is worth every penny.
