For the price, you can't beat this brush. However, I felt like this didn't hold loose or pressed powder very well and it was impossible to apply powder to more than one small area at a time. Because of this, it made my face look like a powdered doughnut. I can't comment on how it applies liquid foundation because I don't wear liquid on my oily skin. I'll stick to using the sponge in my compact. It's faster and gives me better coverage.

Just purchased this brush a few days ago. Feels wonderful on the face, and definitely perfect for applying powder all over the face. In terms of liquid foundation, it works well for me with my Rimmel 24-hour, but didn't do a great job on my friend with her Revlon Colorstay Whiipped foundation (plus, she's a bit older and has wrinkles, whereas my skin is very smooth). I've used this brush three times, and each time only 1 bristle fell out.
Awesome brush! This can be used for so many things! I used it all summer to apply my Wet N' Wild Coloricon Bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana. I could sweep it on my face OR almost stipple it with this brush. Very multi-purpose!
I use this for my liquid foundations since I heard that flat top brushes give heavier coverage and I absolutely love this brush. It swirls on the skin without dragging. It feels soft but firm in application. I like that it's straight up black and it doesn't look cheap at all. In fact, I don't think it is. I've had it for several months and it hasn't bled or shed still. Amazing. Recently I've used this to apply powder too and it's just as good. Go get you some.
Bought this brush due to the high positive reviews. I used this for my Revlon color-stay liquid foundation and it buffs the foundation so well!!
its so soft and so dense and because the brush head is quite large it gets the foundation buffed in so fast and my foundation looked FLAWLESS!!
I have two of these right now & two more on the way which definitely says something ;) I totally recommend this brush!!
Btw I also have the Sigma F80 and although I like it I recommend ELF's because its so much faster to use and the F80 is not good for buffing but only stamping/stippling the foundation onto the face. If you're wondering which one to go for go for the ELF! A+++ BRUSH highly recommend!! continued >>

I live in the uk and have yet to find a store that has elf products so I ordered this brush from Facelipseyes.co.uk after reading all the good reviews I had to see what all the fuss was about and well this brush is AMAZING! it's so versatile I can use it for applying my revlon color stay foundation and also powders, I prefer this brush to my MAC 187 and for the price you can't go wrong with this I will definitely be ordering some more :))
So, this is the first flat top brush I've gotten. I have used the sephora brand flat top buffer and it was great...but i was my aunts and she wont let me have it. Anyways, this was so cheap and i had my eyes in it for a long time. I was finally able to get to target and once i saw it, i snatched it ran to the cashier like a kid with candy. I like how dense it is. I would prefer something a bit denser but for three Huck's, i wont complain. It makes my foundation look more flawless and i can coer my scarring easily. If your on a budget, definitely buy this brush.
Edit:
So........ this brush sheds. I'm really disappointed. Looks like i have to buy a new one. It isnt as dense anymore which is the reason why i bought it! But i have been experimenting with it. And this is good for blush, liquid, powder, and buffing out concealer. Its only three dollars so when i get to go to target, i'll get another one. Until then, i will be tying a rubber band around it to keep the hairs packed together. This is how i make use of brushes that arent dense enough
edit (11/3): Still sheds slightly, but the handle broke!!!! So dissappointed. I can reattach it, but what do you expect from a three dollar brush. Don't expect these brushes to last long, i will be buying multiple ones

LOVE this brush! I'm not a huge fan of the $1 E.L.F brushes because they're not always that soft, but this brush is amazing! Super soft and I like the black color better. I use this brush to apply my mineral makeup. I tap a little bit out of the container, stipple to get some makeup on the brush, tap off the excess and apply. I feel like it holds a good amount of makeup and applies it perfectly. Love this brush. If it ever breaks, I'll definitely buy another one.
Oh, and I really like the sheath that comes with the brush to cover the bristles. I find it helpful when I travel just to keep the bristles safe. :)
Awesomely awesome brush! I use this for my mineral foundations and, not only does this cover more of my face and hold more product, but it doesn't shed as much as the $25 flat top taklon brush I got from Alima Pure. At only $3, E.L.F. is definitely more than worth the money! Still haven't tried it with wet products, but I've heard it also works very well.
This brush is phenomenal! I use this for my liquid foundation and it does a great job at blending and buffing. It gives you perfect coverage and finish. I have another one for powder. The second one I have isn't as soft as my first one. And the bristles are longer. But it works great for getting better coverage outta your powder. Definitely worth the 3 bucks. Highly recommend . :)
