I was quite hesitant to buy this product because tinted moisturizers usually make my skin look very oily. A salesperson at Sephora highly recommended it because it's oil-free and the price isn't too bad. I somehow convinced myself to try it.
When I first put it on after shower, it stings a bit. The color is fine - not too yellow or orange. But the coverage is very slight (which is expected since this is not a foundation). My biggest complain is that it makes my skin look so oily. I let my skin absorb the tm and put on the rest of the make-up at least 10-15 minutes after I put this on. Also, I blot my face several times a day. I do have sensitive/combination/oily skin so it's hard to find a good product. If your skin isn't oily, I think this is not a bad option but for me, I'd rather go back to my regular moisturizer and stay matte.

Since this is classified as a tinted moisturizer, coverage is light but will still cover minor imperfections. It has a thick-ish consistency and evens out skin tone wonderfully. I am currently using a sample of Luminous, which is an okay match, although I suspect it's probably not the best color match for my NC30/ 1.2-2.0 light in BE/Nars Budapest complexion.

This doesn't provide a lot of coverage, but it makes the face look so beautiful. Perfect for skin that needs very little correction. I have some redness in the cheeks and a couple of acne scars and this does okay to even out my skin tone. It doesn't cover the redness but makes it look less harsh.

The skin glows beautifully when using this. Perfect for the evening. I will repurchase!

this makes me look like i glow from within. unfortunately, every time i apply it, it makes my skin sting and i have red rashes on my face the morning after. it lessens when i use primer underneath the TM but the fact that this is labeled as a tinted moisturizer and causes my skin to dry out and STING... i will not repurchase and will find a gentler alternative.

I tried this in Luminous, and the color, or lack thereof, was fine for my light skin. It gives a surprisingly decent amount of coverage. I have some redness on one cheek and around nose and did not need additional concealer. I used a translucent setting powder on top. This product basically blurred my pores (nose/cheeks) to the point they almost weren't visible. I have normal skin, but can get a shiny nose, and did not need to re-powder during the day (mind you, it isn't summer yet!). The lotion felt a little heavy on, but did not look heavy at all. I would purchase again in a heartbeat except...it made me break out. I can't use most primers, either, so it's probably the same thing. So disappointed I can't use this! If you can tolerate primers, I highly recommend this product.

I bought this sight unseen based on the positive reviews here and have not been disappointed. I purchased the lightest, luminous and was worried on further ready to find out that it is billed as a luminizer (you'd think I might have guessed based on the name). It has turned out to be the ideal shade, though and not at all sparkly like I worried.

This TM is very creamy and spreads easily over my skin without becoming greasy or cakey. I have quite dry skin so I prep with serum, moisturizer, then sunscreen. With these priming layers I get a very natural, glowy finish. The TM itself is quite thick and creamy, so I wouldn't be surprised if those with skin not as dry as mine could get away without an additional moisturizer. I've found previous TMs greasy or too thick, or even too thin and streaky, but this settles perfectly and leaves my skin soft to the touch, not sticky, greasy, or dry.

I tend to break out easily and quickly if my skin doesn't like a product. I've had no breakouts from this, despite starting to use it when I would normally be getting hormonal acne.

I'm quite pale, a bit lighter than mac's nw15. Luminous is an excellent colour match, if a smidge dark. It's very neutral, pulling a bit more to peach than beige. The coverage is very sheer, so my freckles are still visible but my redder areas are toned down. I still have to use concealer around my nose and under my eyes, but both are quite bad due to allergies. This gives a very nice glowy look, without being shimmery. There may be some micro shimmer particles, but I can't see them. Altogether, it's very subtle and natural.

My stats:
cool to neutral ppp, dry skin. prone to product induced breakouts but not blackheads or cystic acne. some fine lines.

I used this for a couple months and I broke out even though I washed my face every night and morning. It was too dewy and i had to blot my face around noon, but it didn't seem to offer that much coverage, really. No thank you. I liked the other tinted moisturizer they had before, with the cooling tint.

I received a sample of this product and was quite excited. I don't normally wear foundation because I don't like the heavy feel so I'm always up to try a tinted moisturizer. However, this product gave me NO coverage at all...my face looked exactly the same as it did before I applied it. So, needless to say, I wasn't impressed. I'll stick to my powder foundation from Prescriptives.

I had been using Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer, which I absolutely love, but unfortunately have a hard time getting. I live in Canada and the nearest store that sells BB is over two hours away and I can't order online. So, I was searching for a tinted moisturizer that I could buy in store in my city and that would "do". After reading some favourable reviews here, I headed to Shoppers Drug Mart and bought it in fair. To my surprise, I actually...love it!! The shade is good. The consistency is good. It doesn't make me breakout, which, unfortunately, is still an issue even though I'm as old as the trees! I don't have any trouble with the packaging as others have said. The price is $15 cheaper than the BB which is also good! I use a moisturizer underneath (Complex 15 with 2 drops jojoba). The tinted moisturizer goes on smoothly over this and looks just like my skin but better. I don't apply powder over as I find that powder will accentuate my lines and make me look older. I usually need to blot once a day. All in all, this is a great product and I will continue using until Bobbi Brown comes to my town, which will be forever, I'm afraid!

EDIT: I haven't used this for awhile. Turned out that the lightest shade is not quite light enough.

I am shocked at the number of negative reviews on this product as this is one of my favorite tinted moisturizers on the market. The fact that this has an SPF and yet keeps me matte all day is a real plus for me. I use this as a base, apply Tarte "tipsy" cheek stain on the apples of my cheeks with a foundation brush and blend it in and then I apply my Make Up For Ever full cover concealer on pending flaws. I finish with Almost Makeup powder from Clinique and then dust my face with Guerlain bronzer. I know that is a lot of steps but my skin looks natural and flawless. I seriously LOVE this tinted moisturizer. I use it in the "Luminous" shade.
