This product is way too expensive. That said, I love it. I have had NO problems with it causing dryness or a rash on my cheeks or lips, even though I have super sensitive skin. The rose fragrance is delightful. The color is perfect. It lasts all day on my cheeks. I just wish it lasted longer on my lips. The packaging isn't convenient to carry around in my purse for touch ups during the day. If the bottle opens and it spills, it will ruin my purse AND I'd be out of a lot of money! Other than that, I highly recommend Benetint and I will definitely be buying it again in the future.
I really like this product. First thing I want to say, is that it took me a while to learn how to use it right on the cheeks - it's somehow hard to blend, because it stains - when it's there, it's there, so you'll have to blend it right the first time.
I usually use this as a lipstain, and it works wonders for me. It doesn't dry out my usually dry lips, and it lasts a long time.
I wouldn't recommend this to someone who is very knew to makeup, since it can be tricky to use.
This is my favorite product in my makeup bag. It's a dual cheek stain and lip color, and when it's blended correctly, it looks natural and flawless. It lasts for a long time and smells divine. I will not go back to a traditional powder blush and as a lip stain, it's a fabulous base, especially if I'm going to a dinner where I will be using a napkin/drinking wine, etc.
It's a very pretty product however every time I apply it I feel like it's sucking all the moisture out of my lips and my cheeks. After about half an hour my lips start to crack and my cheeks feel tight and irritated. If only it contained a bit less alchohol!
I have a love hate relationship with this product. here are the pros and cons in my opinion
Suits all skin tones
comes with a great applicator
can be used as a lip color and a blush color
looks natural on the the skin, its great for that no make up look
smells like roses
Too expensive, if you plan on using this just as a lipstain youre better off looking elsewhere. Cover girl or Maybelline make some okay ones for waayyy cheaper.
Like most lipstains, this will fade quickly, be prepared for many reapplications throughout the day.
with that being said, I would still repurchase this product because some of my clients request it often. It really is a nice product but im sure you can find something better for a lot less money.
My ratings *might* seem harsh and like I don't like the product. I do like it however! The color, I feel, is awesome. And pretty long lasting. But there are a couple of quirks for me. Sometimes I end up with an uneven look from cheek to cheek (probably a user error). I'd recommend really rubbing it in as soon as you brush the product onto your face, because otherwise it may stain in a blotchy way. The other thing I don't like (and this is odd) is that when I'm using the nail-polish-like-wand for my lips,it tickles my lips to no end!! It's not a good feeling for me! I wonder if others get that reaction. It's a bit pricey, so I'd only get it again if I had another deal going on.
I love this product! It gives you that natural flush of color not too overpowdering! This product is great because it works well on all skin tones
Benetint is just so easy to throw on and the best thing is you can use it as a liptint as well! so this has be a staple in my travel bag ever since I got it!
The only con is the price. Although the sample size has lasted me forever, the full size costs about 35 dollars.
Despite that I will definitely repurchase this again when I run out.
i wished i could say i really like this coz i am generally attracted to most benefit products - maybe its the marketing though!
the good points of this product are 1) natural looking cheeks and lip stains 2) long lasting!
the bad points are: 1) hate the packaging! the brush is too small for the use on my cheeks so i got to use my fingers to spread it out 2) you may end up with 3 spots on your cheek if you are not careful and coz its so long lasting, those spots are not easy to get off 3) taste pretty bitter 4) price wise, i think the body shop will do the trick at a cheaper price!
sigh, i really wish i like this product better though! everyone is a fan but me! i may may just re-purchase this just to try it once more!
Not a big fan of Benefit here, but that doesn't stop me from trying their products. This comes in a nail polish like container. You have to be careful where you place it on your face because it almost stains the skin. It has a pleasant rose scent.
I personally don't like any product you have to rub in, it makes my fair sensitive skin red so I can't tell the intensity of the product until my skin calms down. By then it's too late to do any correction work. Will not repurchase.
One of the best cosmetics I have ever owned. I really like how natural it looks - it doesn't look like I'm wearing makeup. I was a little afraid that the color would be too berry, because I thought it looked too berry or a little too pink in the reviews I found on through a google search. It looks perfect and very natural on me, though. It works better on cheeks than on lips in my opinion. It doesn't give much color to my already naturally red lips, and it tastes a little bitter. Also, I wish it lasted longer. It lasts for about 6-7 hours, but it already starts to fade after only 2 hours. Unlike many other reviewers, I really like the packaging. But I store it in a drawer in my bedroom so I don't risk a cat or boyfriend dropping it on the a hard bathroom floor. I also really like the nail polish style brush, unlike other reviewers - I use my fingers to blend anyway, and I just use the brush to apply dots of color before blending. The tint comes off the brush easily, and I think it's a good way to apply this very runny water-like tint.
A bit on the pricey side, but not too bad, especially since it lasts well.
So why do I give it 5 lipsticks when I don't think benetint is perfect? Since it's the makeup product I like the most, giving it 4 lipsticks would make it impossible for any other product to get more than 3 lipsticks. I think it deserves about 4.5 in overall rating.
