The quality of this face cleanser can not be beat. I have an OILY t-zone, yet dry on the cheeks and jaw line.
My skin feels so clean and nourished after using this product. It balances out my skin chemistry. Everytime I stray from this product, I go back. I am done straying from Purity Made Simple. It is my HG.
The only draw back is the price, however, a nickle size is all you need! Also, the bottle does tend to crack towards the end of the product use.

I tried this cleanser because it was in a QVC Philosophy TSV kit and have used it for several years. I have combo skin with a very oily t-zone, and my face was too prone to breaking out (and I'm in my 40's!) when using other cleansers. This one really does *clean* my face and remove eyemakeup without burning my eyes. It doesn't make it feel dried out & tight, but maybe that's because my skin is more on the oily side to begin with.

I guess for a cleanser it's expensive, but if I factor in the $ saved because I don't have to buy a separate eyemakeup remover or a toner, it works out OK. It lasts a long time so that helps.

I gave the packaging a "3" because the plastic bottle is stiff & somewhat brittle causing it to get a crack in the side while packed in my carry-on. Needless to say, I don't carry the whole 16oz bottle any more. I use a smaller, softer squeeze bottle when I have to pack it & go.

I've taken a couple chances with other facial cleansers that backfired, because my face broke out. I won't be experimenting for a while.

This is an okay cleanser, but I don't find it to be good for acne-prone skin like mine. It worked for about a week and then I got two pretty nasty pimples, far worse than I'd get normally. On the plus side, it's very light and refreshing, and I think that it works fine for normal skin. Not deep cleansing though!

I've been using Purity for the past year and I really liked it. The sorta medicinal lemony/herbal smell doesn't bother me at all. I have normal skin that's a tad oily on the nose in the summer and a tad dry on the forehead in the winter. This has worked great...doesn't make me feel oily and it doesn't dry my skin out. But, I decided to try another cleanser because I didn't want to fork over the bucks to buy some more Purity. Well, I was lucky...the other cleanser didn't make me break out or anything but it just didn't do what Purity does for my skin. So, I went out today and bought another bottle of Purity. No more straying for me!

This is my favorite cleanser. It doesn't leave my normal/combination skin overly dry or filmy-feeling. I was apprehensive about the price but if you purchase the 32 oz. bottle from QVC (money-back guarantee) or from a department store when they're doing a promotion then it's a stellar deal. I figured up that I normally would spend $10 every 2 months for cleanser-- $60 per year. The 32 oz. bottle of purity lasts me one full year and costs around $36 a bottle. You do the math. But I also figure for something I like so well I'd gladly spend more.
By the way, when I first smelled the combination of purity and hope in a jar I thought they smelled terrible but when I tried it a year or so later I found I really enjoyed the scent and it fades a few minutes after application anyway.
EDIT: I've taken away 2 points as this started breaking my face out for some unexplained reason. Have since switched to plain ol' white Dove bar soap and all is well with my skin again. Strange. I did love what Purity used to do for my skin though so it still gets at least an average rating from me.

This product worked great for me for the first 3 or 4 months. I was completely pimple free, and it was fantastic! Then all of a sudden it just stopped working and my face got pimples all over it again, i guess my skin just got adjusted to it, i may try it again in the future, because it could possibly work again, but for now i use clean & clear deep cleansing micro bead gel, and it work's great !

i love philosophy...i was supposed to buy another cleanser but it was not available at that time, the product promoter told me that Purity is much better coz it deeply cleanse your face, removing make up while you're washing your face...its a 3in1 product (make up remover, cleanser and toner)...i introduced this to my husband and he also fell in love with Purity....although this is quite pricey but its worth your money...its time saving and skin loving....

I absolutely love the purity cleanser. I work in cosmetics so i wear alot of makeup and the purity cleanser just melts everything off my face without leaving my face dry. I wear water proff mascara and the purity cleanser was gentle enough to use on my eyes and it took everything. I was new Philosphy when i first started using it but thanks to a sample made by my friend who actually worked for philosphy i'm hooked on the whole line. The line is in expensive and the stuff works.

I really like this product. I've tried lots of different cleansers and this one takes all of my makeup off and leaves a clean feeling after. One bottle lasts me for a long time and it's very gentle.

I love this cleanser!! I refuse to use anything else. Every other cleanser that I have used made me feel as though my skin wasn't clean enough so I had to use a toner and the cotton ball was dirty. This stuff makes my skin feel super clean that I don't even need to use a toner. Just like they say. Some say this has an unpleasant smell...but I don't think this smells at all.
