This product worked great for me for the first 3 or 4 months. I was completely pimple free, and it was fantastic!Then all of a sudden it just stopped working and my face got pimples all over it again, i guess my skin just got adjusted to it, i may try it again in the future, because it could possibly work again, but for now i use clean & clear deep cleansing micro bead gel, and it work's great ! continued >>

i love philosophy...i was supposed to buy another cleanser but it was not available at that time, the product promoter told me that Purity is much better coz it deeply cleanse your face, removing make up while you're washing your face...its a 3in1 product (make up remover, cleanser and toner)...i introduced this to my husband and he also fell in love with Purity....although this is quite pricey but its worth your money...its time saving and skin loving....

I absolutely love the purity cleanser. I work in cosmetics so i wear alot of makeup and the purity cleanser just melts everything off my face without leaving my face dry. I wear water proff mascara and the purity cleanser was gentle enough to use on my eyes and it took everything. I was new Philosphy when i first started using it but thanks to a sample made by my friend who actually worked for philosphy i'm hooked on the whole line. The line is in expensive and the stuff works.

I really like this product. I've tried lots of different cleansers and this one takes all of my makeup off and leaves a clean feeling after. One bottle lasts me for a long time and it's very gentle.

I love this cleanser!! I refuse to use anything else. Every other cleanser that I have used made me feel as though my skin wasn't clean enough so I had to use a toner and the cotton ball was dirty. This stuff makes my skin feel super clean that I don't even need to use a toner. Just like they say. Some say this has an unpleasant smell...but I don't think this smells at all.

This cleanser removed all my makeup but it leaves a "film" feeling on the face, I don't know, I think its average at best, I will not repurchase.

I was really disappointed with this. It has a peculiar, unpleasant odor and left my skin feeling unpleasantly dry and tight. I didn't like it at all and will return it rather than use it up.

I really wanted to love this product after all the fantastic reviews I had read about it. But unfortunately this product made me break out in pimples - and I NEVER break out like that, I only ever get one or two and it is quite rare when I do.
I thought perhaps it may have been the other Philosophy face care products, but through elimination trials I found it was the cleanser. Thankfully I bought it through SKINSTORE which gave me a full refund.
I was very sorry not to like this product but it played havoc with my dry/combination skin.
The fragrance was also quite awful!

After years of using L'Oreal facewash (I don't even remember the name, turquoise tube) I finally decided to give Purity a try. I didn't want to like it because it's a little pricey compared to d/s brands but I thought what the hell and bought the small $10 bottle at Sephora. I figured that if I didn't like it I would only be out $10. Wow was I missing out! This is great because unlike my thick L'Oreal facewash this stuff is light and it removes all my m/u and makes me feel fresh! I thought that in order for a facewash to be able to remove all impurities it had to be thick. I was wrong! This is so light and since it is so light it is very easy to remove. The only tiny quirk I have is that I don't know if I can get used to the smell. It smells a little medicine-like instead of fresh smelling like it should smell. That's one thing I don't get about Philosophy's products. Sometimes they smell funky like Hope in a Jar. I don't mind HIAJ's smell but I know some do. Overall though I like it and I plan to repurchase and get the $20 bottle. I think the $30 or $32 bottle is a little too bulky for facewash so I think from now on I'll stick to the middle size and the smaller size for travel.

I LOVE this cleanser it is the best i have ever used! It smells pretty but mostly it makes my skin really glow-y! It also reduces my breakouts so i only have a few spots. I got a travel size for easter and i had to go back to Sephora and get more asap! The trick is to massage it onto your face, wash it off the gently dab a towel on your face to dry. This is my favorite skincare product ever!
