After 2 years, I am proud to say I have let go of this foundation entirely. I've always felt 'buried' under this foundation and dirty. It's so exhausting when you sweat under this in the summer and I really hate the smell of it. It always wears off quickly and easily (for instance, if I wipe my nose with a tissue, I see a lot foundation color on my tissue).

alright, altogether i love this foundation, im NC42 in winter days, and change to NC44 during the summer "hotter days" .. i tend to use a lot to have a flawless kind of finish and seems to work, but the only thing is, is that lately its starting to make my skin look reallly "wrinkly" not HARD OUT but my skin texture isnt as "tight" as it used to be..=(

SOOO i was wondering if anyone can recommend me something that wont be bad for my skin (yes i do take care of my skin on a daily basis) .. and also im about to have a baby soo i wont have much time nor the money to go to big stores to buy mac so was wondering if anyone can recommend a shade closer to the ones i have mentioned and which would be good for my skin as well.. i know its a lot to ask for but id really appreciate it =)

(( btw i live in australia, soo no products that i have to order overseas.. i fear of getting to addicted to online buying.. ))

UPDATE:
yeah sorry after wearing this for a while i realised it wasnt soo perfect for my skin, maybe its from the pregnancy but it started to irritate my beautiful skin and on my sis as well, broke her out like CRAZY!!! what a horrible outcome, and oxidises bad..

So this is my first high end foundation and I like it. I would say love but I haven't found a way to keep it from looking cakey on me. I have oily/dry skin (how is that even possible?) and so it can be hit or miss with me. The packaging would be better if it had a pump, but that's MAC for you. It doesn't break me out or anything so it's not bad. I just wish it was more dewey.

I've been wearing this foundation for about a month and must say I like it much. Coverage is wonderful and it stays there quite well throughout the day, eventhough I wear a mask in my job.
I'm NW30.

The only things I don't like about it are:
1. Smells not too good (...)
2. Gets dry very fast
3. Sometimes it slightly stains my hairline if I'm not too careful

Apart from that, I'm happy with it.

Kisses from Spain ;-)

The only thing I ever liked about this product was the coverage. However, it always felt thick like a mask on my face. I figured out that this foundation was the cause of my acne issues and breakouts. I began to use it only for special events, but would immediately see the effects on my skin. The color was not light enough for me, and added to that mask quality. None of the colors match my pale skin. While I love almost all other mac products, this one would dry up nasty. Despite intense moisturizing after a few hours this foundation made me look chalky. The only reason I gave this even a 1 is because it includes SPF. If you have sensitive, dry skin like me I do not recommend Studio Fix Fluid.

I always used drug store foundations before i decided to take a trip in to a mac store, i like to wear ALOT of foundation so i asked them to help me find a foundation with alot of coverage, I was advised on studio fix and color matched, color was great NW25 as i wear alot of fake tan, it covers every little blemish on my face, blends great, lasts all day and just looks flawless and amazing, I always buy when i run out even though it lasts a very long time :)

I wanted to love this product so much but it broke me out terribly. I had been looking for a long wearing formula that would really last and find a match for my light/med olive skin tone. Well I was matched to nc30 at first but I found it too dark. Then I was matched to nc25 and that too I found dark but managed to blend it real good and wore it for a week. Well the staying power was great, so great that it was a task trying to take it off. I had to wash my face 3 times for this stuff to come off. I was loving the coverage and the overall flawless look I got while wearing it but disgusted with the cystic acne I developed. So back to my never ending quest for my HG foundation!!

This gave me SEVERE cystic acne that took 4 months to go away. It does have lovely coverly but the side effects are not worth it. I regret ever buying this because I know have scars all over my cheeks.

I really like this product! I have blemished skin that breaks out with some foundations but this didn't seem to be a problem for me, although i use a primer beforehand. Most foundations look orange on me at the fairest colour but NC15 really matches my skintone well :) It leaves a matte finish with good medium coverage. It doesn't come off for most of the day and is only a bit oily looking at the end of it, but that can be easily sorted out with some MAC Blot Powder in Light. One thing is, it is very expensive compared to the foundations I would usually buy. I do like this but I find that Revlon Colourstay works just the same with a little less coverage
