The first time I smelled this, I was absolutely in love. Then I bought a bottle and took it home and sprayed it some more. I finally realized why I liked it so much. It smells like a man. It smells just like my brother's cologne. It is not feminine but definitely more strong and powerful. Its crisp and not too sweet, overall the quality is good too since the smell lasts for a lonnng time
Very pretty and happy/cheerful/uplifting. I find it quite feminine actually, not men's aftershavey at all to me! I guess I can see how the strong lemon top notes intially can be somewhat aftershave like, but once they disappear, the dry-down seems very delicate and "feminine" to me...but regardless of its feminine/masculine character, wearing this really lifts my mood.

The fact that I sampled this scent and could not stop sniffing my arm came as a complete surprise given regular Chanel Chance is not a good mix for my chemistry. I have literally ignored this scent assuming that because it was a spin-off of Chanel Chance, it would not work... Well today, I tried it, and all I can say is: Hooray for Chance Eau Fraiche!! I find it fresh, citrusy and floral -- and completely wearable. ...and just in the nick of time for Summer... I'm thrilled to have tried it and will be purchasing a small bottle to enjoy in the weeks to come...
I love Chanel No. 5. I also like Coco, No. 19 and 22, and Cristalle.
I do not like Chance Eau Fraiche. I received it as a sample and my first reaction upon smelling it was "too limey". It also impresses me as a fragrance which is trying too hard. I get the feeling that Chance was being aimed toward the younger consumer. I would never buy this scent.
This fragrance was wrong on so many levels. It's difficult for me to give this review as I love all things Chanel... to the point of obsession... so it hurts me just as much as it hurts all those who swear by this fragrance. It was a terrible spin on the original Chance... as strong as that scent was, this one was even more cloying... but above all, it was so uninspiring. So much so, that upon first spritz, I had to walk away... I guess some chances aren't worth taking.
I love this fragrance. I actually bought the original chance and it was just too headache inducing for me. So I took it back and got this one instead. I love this perfume. It is so fresh smelling. It really last all day it is definetly worth the price. I can put it on in the morning and when my husband get home from work and gives me a hug and says wow you smell good. I love that. This is one of my favorite perfumes and I will buy it again.
When I first saw this perfume being advertised last year, I scoffed at it. I believed nothing could compare to the original Chance. A few nights ago, I finally sprayed it on my wrist and decided that yes, it could compare! I purchased it yesterday and am wearing it for the first time today. It smells just like Chance, but it has a masculine quality that I love. I don't know how to describe the way a perfume smells, so I will just say that when I sprayed it on me today, and reminded me of a man's citrus cologne, but the original Chance smell is still there very predominantly. I understand that some people might not like a more masculine smell, but personally I like it, especially right now when I am away from my boyfriend for 6 months because I am on an internship. It also makes me feel strong.

I love this perfume! is so young and elegant at the same time. Very fresh and clean. It has very good staying power. The bottle is very cute and simple. Perfect for summer days. I prefer this over the original version.
If I remember correctly this one has notes of verbena? Its an amzing fragrance, not sweet at all which I love. I fell in love with it the first time I tried it, and its just lovely, reminds me of spring. I'm almost on my second bottle of it. Best thing ever is pulling out a sweater or something you've worn, and then smelling it on your clothes. Smells so fresh.
I want to tell my Chance Eau Fraiche story. I use to be a die hard Chance EDT fan. It always morphed into the sexiest scent. By the end of the day there was absolutely nothing like it. Well, times have changed and I will tell you that I had moved on to more "exclusive" fragrances like Creed, Hermes, Bond, and many other exclusive offerings. Eventually Chance lost its appeal with me. I have a friend that I play league tennis with who is a fragrance vendor and works not for but at Nordstroms. She really doesn't like to change fragrances and is usually happy to wear only one exclusively. Because of her job she has to know her products and wears different ones often while playing tennis. Though she wears many different fragrances, there have only been three that I can say are noteworthy. They are Narcisco Rodriguez, Carla Fracci, and Chance Eau Fraiche. A few days ago I was playing on one court and she was playing on the court next to me. I kept getting whiffs of something really beautiful. I couldn't believe when she came to my court that she revealed that it was Chance Eau Fraiche. I ran out that afternoon and bought my own bottle. I believe that this version is much like the original that it morphs often during the day. It does start off with a blast of citrus but because the base notes are amber, patchoulli, and vetiver it softens and has depth. I have tried many light scents that would suit my active lifestyle and with the exception of Jo Malone Gardenia I haven't been happy with anything else. I'm happy to have found my spring summer scent.
