I bought this about 4 months ago and have been using it fairly routinely. Not as much as I'd like to, but enought to give it a fair review. I had to review it today because yesterday I went to my nephew's birthday party and my sister-in-law (very nicely) commented that the occassion must be special since I put my false lashes to attend the party. She was surprised when I replied "What false lashes?"
I then had to convince her they were mine!
A very favorable compliment since I haven't changed mascaras or my lash curler.
I had nice, thick lashes before, but they've definitely gotten longer.

I've been using Revitalash for about 2 1/2 months and totally love it! Before Revitalash I had been using MAC Lashes #24 (bottom lashes) as upper lashes. These lashes added length and thickness to my own lashes. At the end of last year MAC had discontinued the #24's. I was frantically running around to stock up on my beloved #24's at $11 each. Looking for a solution, read a short paragraph in a magazine about Revitalash and checked out these reviews. With so many people stating that they would repurchase, I decided to give it a try. Since the price was so high, I went to eBay and bought the non-reformulated version there. After 5-6 weeks I had found that my own lashes were growning as long as my MAC lashes. This product is great! I've stopped wearing my MAC lashes to work (saving me about 20 minutes every morning) and now only plan to use my stockpile for when I go out on weekends. I figure that the price is actually less than my MAC lashes which cost me $11/week. I've actually purchased a 2nd tube so I don't run out and will continue to use this product. The only complaint I have is that the instructions say to apply to lashes as you do eyeliner. I'm not certain if you apply above or below the lower lashes since they don't have as significant growth as my upper lashes.

I started using Revitalash in September... I really didn't notice much of a difference in my lashes until December - about 3 months later. But this definitely made my lashes longer AND thicker.

I think a lot of people are expecting results almost immediately and are getting disappointed when they don't see a significant change in a couple weeks. My advice is to keep using it for *at least* two months before giving up on it. I'm sure there are some whose lashes will respond more quickly than others to Revitalash, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work if you don't see mile high lashes in 2 or 3 weeks. Be patient and consistent, and I think you'll be very pleased with the results!

This does work, but there are a few caveats to keep in mind. Firstly, I have used this religiously morning and night for 6-7 weeks and I'm just seeing results now. My eyelashes are looking noticeably longer, with one freaky eyelash that is actually 50% longer than any of the others. I also had two eyelashes start to grow on my actual eyelid, so I guess I haven't been as careful as I thought about keeping it on the lashline (I may have put on some eyecream after the Revitalash a few times and smudged it). My lash line is slightly thickened and discolored (a purply color) which I don't actually mind. From way up close it looks a little swolen, but other than that it's more like a permanent liner. My eyelids have itched a bit, though, which I don't like. I said when I purchased this that I wouldn't buy it again unless I saw some dramatic results, as I like Talika and it is much less expensive. I've been using the Talika for 6 months, so I'm confident that the new results are from the Revitalash. It's so amazing to be able to improve your lashes without makeup, though, I will be buying both again and continue to use them together.

Update - I just opened my second tube of Revitalash a couple of weeks ago. I was amazed at how long it lasted - actually over a year with daily application! I now consider it an excellent value. I also could not go back to my old lashes. I use Neutrogena Lash Tint now instead of mascara, which is perfect for highlighting the length with no mascara look. I couldn't go back to mascara now.....yucky.

I bought it off eBay for $90 from TheLashLady.

I have been using it EVERY night religiously on my upper lash line for 4 weeks and so far - NOTHING! No changes in my lashes.

I do notice a slight irritation and itchy feeling at night after putting it on.

I'm waiting for the "miracle" everyone talks about. At this point, it's a total waste of my $$$$

This totally made my eyelashes grow about 20% longer. I do think it's a little over priced but I love unique, interesting products and don't mind spending extra on them. One thing I did not anticipate is that the longer your eyelashes are, the more unruly they can become. I had some that were growing downward and no matter how I tried to curl them and get them to go upwards, they just wouldn't budge. They were bothering my eyes, so I actually had to cut them with a tiny manicure scissors (scary!). I would say this product is mildly irritating to the eyes, if you're extremely sensitive, I'd be careful. Sometimes in the morning my eyelashes are sore. Sounds weird, I know it's actually my eyelid that's hurting, but it's an annoying tingly/sore sensation that happens especially if you touch your eyes/lashes. It's mild enough for me to continue use. I dont know why, but I always have trouble opening my eyes in the morning (its uncomfortable), and this product seems to make it a little more difficult. Anyway, I was amazed to finally see the results. My girlfriend even commented that they look longer.

this product made my eyelashes FALL OUT!!!! especially on my right eye. there is a very significant patch of very short little eyelashes where there used to be long ones. the long ones started falling out after i started using this product. ironically, only significantly on my right eye. only a little bit on my left. i kept using this, hoping that this was some short of "shedding" period or some bs i tried to tell myself, and i really should have stopped. before the rest of my eyelashes fall out!!! seriously i was am so pissed. i just got the Jan Marini intervention eyelash in the mail today, and started it tonight. hopefully this one won't make my lashes fall out too! btw, i got the Revitalash from Skinstore.com which is a pretty reputable e-store, so i don't think that the formula is bogus or expired, altho i guess it could be.

Took a good 4-5 weeks of daily use for me to see results, but my lashes are definitely getting longer. (I apply it to my upper and lower lashes, and both have grown.)
I tint my lashes, so I've now stopped wearing mascara except for dress-up evenings. I just curl them, and they look pretty good to me, whereas they used to be pretty well invisible without some lash-lengthening mascara. Only problem is that, without mascara, they're obviously crimped instead of curled, so I'm shopping for a new curler, hopefully something with a round pad. I also think my lashes are thicker, and I'm shopping for new mascara as well; the formula I've always worn now looks clumpy.
Pros: It's working. I really haven't experienced any irritation (other than on lash-tinting days, which I attribute to the tint, not the Revitaslash). Fairly easy to apply, though easier to get it right on the lashline in the center of the eye (where I'm seeing the most growth) than toward the outer edges.
Cons: It's ridiculously expensive. I got it from a distributor on Ebay, and paid about $90, which is bad enough; at $149 from the manufacturer, you've gotta want it bad. It's not for those looking for overnight results; you have to be consistent, and patient enough to keep using it for weeks on end during which you see no change.
And it still may not work for everyone. This was "discovered" because one of the most common side effects of prostaglandin-based glaucoma meds was eyelash growth, though only about half of all patients experience it. (Then again, they put drops containing prostaglandins in their eyes, and not on their lash lines, where they seem to be more effective for growing lashes.)
FYI, I have the "non-reformulated" version and plan to buy my first refill while it's still available simply because I know I got results. I doubt the reformulation has anything to do with safety at all, and believe it's about NOT getting into a fight with Allergan over whether using the active ingredient in Lumigan violates their patent. That said, I imagine whatever replacement prostaglandin they put in for bimataprost should also work.

UPDATE: i have been using this product for over a year now and i am not going to stop EVER... nor change to another brand. I tried another brand and not only was it more expensive, it did NOT do anything... so i am back to revitalash and it is still the bect product out there...
UPDATE: i am on my 5th month and i have to let you all know that i have the BEST LOOKING, LONGEST EYELASHES... you wouldnt believe how many times i have been asked where i got them done because they look so long and nice and yet natural... can you imagine how i felt saying, "those are mine, they're real"!!! its like getting a new prada purse... you all have to spare the money and patience this product works.. i dont know how i can attach a picture but wow!!! all i need is 2 coats of mascara and i look fabulous the whole day... one more coat and i am ready for the night look.... i would some lashes fall here and there but it is no big deal... it grows right back... you all have to get this product!!! love my lashes...

I have moderate lashes, but i wanted more oomph. i did the eyelash extensions which were so badly done they all fell with my eyelashes. so i wanted to try something that really worked. i read the reviews here at makeup alley and i was curious. so i bought my 1st tube, a little pricey but what the h*ck! i wanted to try and see. i am on my 5th week and my lashes are definitely longer and curlier. not the "falsies look" YET. but like i said i am only on my 5th week and my daughter already said she thinks my lashes have definitely gotten longer. especially at the ends. i cant wait to see what the 8 week look will be. i will update you all!!! i am glad i spent the money... i got it off of ebay so i only paid like $90 for it.

Current Rating at 4 weeks of alternating day use: 3.

Reason: 3 because it is working, even though nothing dramatic, my lashes are getting longer and little sprouts are coming up. Will wait and see and update.

A bit concerned about the maintenance cost, will use religiously (or try to) nightly till bottle runs out to decide on re-purchase.

Update at 4 Weeks: Not until i put on mascara did i realize yes, they are longer. No drastic falsies, just look nice and appropriate with mascara. However, this dries my eyes out a bit. Updating to 4 lippies.
