FAB FAB FAB!!!
Having been with a dermatoligist I was recommened Neutrogena which was fine. My brother went to his dermatologist and was recommened this and WOW! I have such sensitve skin and break out so easily, but this is great! The only thing is it doesnt really remove eye make up that well, but other than that its great. Doesnt leave my sky red or irriatated!

I love this stuff! It cleans my skin without overdrying, and I think it smells fantastic. My only problem with it is that the pump on the bottle sticks at times - and if my 12 year old son uses it, it means he unscrews the top and takes the pump off, and doesn't replace it, which leads to the Cetaphil falling over and "cleaning" the shelf under the sink... ugh! Other than that, it is a great product, and I love it.
I've been using this for about a year now, at night after removing my makeup with a makeup wipe, and it's the perfect way to mop up residue from the wipe and any makeup left behind. It definitely is gentle; I've never tried to remove makeup with it but I'm guessing it's not the best method. My skin always feels very fresh and clean when using this product, never overly tight, which is a plus. Price wise it's maybe a little expensive, but you get so much product that it lasts you forever. My first bottle had a pump top on it, though subsequent bottles haven't, but I just switch the caps out. Overall a great product!
Initially, my MIL bought this for my hubs's sensitive (eczema) skin. He can't be bothered to use it, so this had bn sitting in the toilet..ignored like some strange wallflower paper. It doesn't hv the conventional suds of normal SLS-laden soaps would..i didn't bother using it either. One fine day, when my Clarisonic brush obsession starts...and I noticed how similar the Clarisonic cleanser's consistency is compared with this..I actually used Cetaphil with my Clarisonic. And it is so compatible! It doesn't dry out my skin like how some cleansers would, with that brush. And I had since used Cetaphil as a basic face was too, even without Clarisonics. It's a basic staple for maturing skin, and ppl who enjoys washing their faces too much.
Cetaphil is really probably the perfect no-frills, utilitarian cleanser. Without it, I never would have realized that the year-long plague of acne that I suffered (never having had it before then) was due to irritation.
It takes a bit of getting used to at first, particularly if you're used to cold creams or other heavy cleansers. I wasn't too thrilled with it initially as it didn't leave my face feeling quite as minty and "clean" as I was accustomed to, but come to find out, the menthol in my previous cleanser (which I'd been using for years with no issues) was part of the aggravating cocktail that was causing my skin to freak out in the first place.
After Cetaphil entered the picture, the large pores on my cheeks and forehead diminished completely and were restored to their pre acne size. Those areas also stopped being so itchy and inflamed and the severe irritation along my jawline disappeared.
Instead of adding more and more harsh ingredients to my regimen to combat the acne, which only made it worse, I should have spent more time finding out the underlying cause of it. I should have put away my other products and went back to the more gentle basics. If I had switched sooner perhaps I'd have less post acne scarring than I do now.
Thanks, Cetaphil.

I have tried many different cleansers over the years and I must say that for my oily skin, this is wonderful. It removes all traces of make up better than any of my "make up" removers and I use it in the shower every morning to cleanse my super super oily skin. I have noticed a dramatic change in my skin (since I started using this combined with bio oil). Its inexpensive and a bottle lasts for a very long time. I have just put my 13 year old son onto it as he is starting to experience the dreaded hormonal pimples and it works a treat. I would certainly repurchase :)
For myself I have acne-prone skin combined with oily and sensitive! It is such a pain in the back. I recently purchased Cetaphil's Gentle Cleanser and I have to say, it is actually woking. I have used this for 2-3 days (and wash twice in each days in those days), I'm actually seeing differences from the past. I have used expensive acne treatments such as Exposed Skin Care, ClearPore, Zenmed Clearasil, Clean and Clear and (the worst of the bunch) Proactiv, I never saw a differnce on the second day of use!
I have saw less blemishes popping up, less bumps and scars are slowly dissapearing! I'm serious, I think this will be my god of acne! I promise I'll keep using this!

The first time I used this product was when I was in grade nine, around five years ago. This was included in those back-to-school sets that Shoppers Drug Mart always have before the start of each school year. It was my very first cleanser and I would always come back to this, even now. Everytime I'm experimenting on cleansers and when I'm using something that's too drying or irritating my face, I go back to this and everything gets better from there. I buy mine from Costco for $20 for a 1L bottle. I think that's a pretty good deal! This definitely won't remove your makeup since it's very gentle on the face. However, I do feel like my skin is cleaner after using this in the morning and at nights in the shower. I probably have repurchased this 5X and I'm confident to say that it's my HG!

I really hated this!! I bought a big bottle at Target for like $7 and I put it in my bathroom for my brothers that were visiting me. I used it for the 2 weeks they were here and I HAATED it! My makeup did not come off, my face felt tight with residue, my face was shiny and my pores looked huge. This was garbage. I started breaking out badly so I just put my Philosophy cleanser in a travel bottle and used it at night *im a stingy girl haha* I will NOT buy this again. Whenever I pass it at the store I shudder, this was a nightmare!!! Its sad since the concept sounded good, gwntle.cleanse, and moustarize with simple design but UGGH worst face wash ever!!!!): p.s since it was a family sized bottle my oldest brother bought a Neutragena cleanser and we used this as hand soap haha
