I use this everyday. I use it as concealer around my nose, to cover red spots on my face and around my eyes everyday to cover redness, dark shadows and as an eyeshadow base. It is also good by itself when you want a natural, not made up look, because it covers and lightens the area around the eye and really does make you look well-rested. The only thing you have to watch for is of if there is any moisture around your eye, it will cake, so make sure your eye area is dry, I blot my eyes with a kleenex before applying. Again, the packaging is an issue, so don't remove the sticker covering the sifter holes, just poke a couple of holes and use a small brush or eyeshadow applicator. When I use it as concealer, I use my concealer brush. I would definitely repurchase this eyeshadow, it is silky smooth and lasts all day and looks great.
I got this with my starter package and I was excited about it because I have circles under my eyes. While I hear yellow can be a good color for under the eyes this one was not good for my fairly light skin color. I ordered the bisque not the summer, but the bisque and it works much better for me. This may be a great tone for medium skin tones, but I found it is not a one color fits all color.
I also purchased the peacock collection & was happy that the dual well-rested & bisque multi-tasking came together in a perfect no spill, controlled packaging. Besides that, I am a medium fair-tanned complexion Filipino & I tried the well-rested under my eyes but it's just too light for that purpose. What i do use is sheer cover medium concealor under my eyes then i apply b.e. summer bisque with the angled powder brush that came with the kit to set & that combination, i absolutely love. great smooth coverage is perfect. i do use well rested on my lids for that "awake" look & i think it's perfect for my use.
I really, really want to like Bare Escentuals. This is probably the fourth or fifth different product in the line that I've tried. I've got fairly light skin (but not super pale). This does absolutely nothing at all. When I swiped the brush under my eye, there was no difference whatsoever. It didn't cover anything at all. I think I'm finally giving up on BE.
I didn't understand this stuff until I found bisque to use with it. Now I love it for what it's meant to be-- an eyeshadow and brightener. I was using it as a concealer under my eyes, but my skin is too dark for that. It's great as an eyeshadow. Nothing is more natural than this~ no sparkles, glimmer, etc, but it makes me look awake.
I can't use BE foundations or mineral veil due to large chicken pox scars and large pores which they accentuate but I can use the concealer for a flawless complection! I wanted so badly for this line to work for me and the concealer is absolutely a miracle. It hides every flaw completely, reduces any redness, helps to fill in my scars, blends well and easily in my face plus it has super duty staying power. By far the best concealer I've ever used!
I have just recently started using BE products and this is an amazing concealer. I am a sleep deprived mom and have the eyes to prove it. This stuff works like magic, my eyes are bright again! I've been using it over Bisque on undereye circles and as an everyday eyeshadow and as a shadow primer. I am so happy I tried this product!! (I have light skin with golden undertones - NW20/BE Light.) P.S. The full coverage concealor brush by BE is amazing as well!!
What an amazing product! If I hadn't ordered to Peacock TSV from QVC a couple of weeks ago, I probably would have never tried this. I just wasn't convinced that a powder could conceal like a liquid (or cream) but I was so wrong. I'd been annoyed lately at the look of my concealer, which seems to fall into the lines under my eyes and look cakey. The beauty of Well-Rested (and Bsique, for which i'll write a separate review) is that it literally looks like nothing on but really does illuminate and brighten the eye area. This doesn't conceal dark circles like Bisque does, for example, but really does give the look of rest! I am totally sold. This + Bisque = a completely luminous and natural but concealed undereye
Well Rested lived up to the look of well rested eyes, but I have tan skin and when I put it one it almost looked like my eyes were a bright white. I got this in a kit so wouldn't buy it again. But for the fair skin ladies it would work so I gave it 2 lippes.
I love Well Rested! It stays on all day and does make my eyes look brighter and less tired. The only time I have a problem is when I put too much on; my eyelids look really light next to the rest of my face, and I look sort of like a reverse racoon. Other than that, it's great!
