I do like this lippie, i like pinks and unfortunately most of them don't tend to look good on me, (i'm nc25 for reference) but this is the exception. It's great for everyday, and cheap, i actually like the scent. what i don't like it's the packaging it is very cheap and weak.
I really wanted to like this after hearing such good recommendations from my friend about this lipstick. The colour itself looks very pretty when swatched but on my skin and my pigmented lips, it just looks like hell. When I put it on, it almost looks like my skin colour but in a bad way. This colour was just not flattering on me at all and I'm really disappointed after having such high expectations for it. The lipstick itself isn't very moisturizing or long-lasting even with a lip balm underneath so I don't think I'll be trying any more lipsticks from Rimmel in the future.
The price was certainly right on this, at $4. Good deal.
The smell that everyone is smelling, I believe, is bubblegum. I think they dumped that in there to cover the "lipstick" smell. I don't mind it at all, although I can see how it would be unpleasant if you weren't in the mood for it.
I'm a very cool, very fair skin tone. This shade is a tad too warm for me. Also, my lips are naturally very pigmented, so this goes on darker on me than it looks on most people. On me, this cannot be worn without a gloss over top or it looks much too warm.
The texture of the lipstick itself is fine, the packaging is okay, and the price is cheap. It doesn't seem to last that long on.
My sister persuaded me to buy this colour after she saw a review on a blog whose owner has pale skin like mine. I was at first unsure because I was actually looking for a neutral peachy tone but after trying it out a few times I have to say that this is a fantastic lipstick. The colour is lovely on me as a NC20ish Asian girl - not too pale of a sweet pinky goldy nude colour.
It goes on creamy and feels quite moisturizing, which I like, and the packaging is cute as well, even though the plastic has a cheap feel to it. However it doesn't seem to last too long and has the tendency to sink around the dry parts of my lips so you do have to moisturize before application. I don't mind the glittery particles too much although if it were less of a neutral colour I probably would. Don't mind the smell either.
All in all, I really like Airy Fairy, it gives just enough colour for every day wear when I want a more neutral look than my usual red lipstick!
Pros: Affordable, not drying at all, smooth, pretty nudish pinkish color
Cons: packaging is inexpensive looking (because it is inexpensive), the smell is a bit strong
Overall I love the color and the texture of this lipstick!!
Color: A step up from a nude pink, which mean it's very natural
Lasting Power: 3-4 hours
Texture: Not very creamy, just right.
Scent: There is definately a scent, but I don't think it's unpleasant, it reminds me of 'old' make up scents.
The scent is so strong, that I feel like I'm tasting the product.
Cons: Transfers alot.
Overall, I'm in love with this product!
Throughout the big fuss of this lipstick, I found myself picking it and putting it back for a long time. One day I just bought it and tried it on at home n thought..."oh...." wasn't a fan. I kept trying to work with it and realized its a very good everyday base...I mix it with pinkier hues or gloss. I think this can definitely get pasty looking and unappealing but a light hand works well with this....works for those who don't usually "do" nudey type colors...

i was really surprised at how well this lipstick lasted on my lips, as well as how beautiful the color is. it's "nude" but also kind of pinky. some golden/peachy tones are also visible depending on the light.
the smell, although i have no idea what it IS, is pretty good. i may be in the minority on this, but to me it smells like a gumdrop.
this is more or less the same shade as my lips except very slightly lighter. i can already forsee myself using this often as i tend to do darker eyes with nude-ish lips. i have NO IDEA why i didn't get this sooner. the comparisons to MAC are understandable. i really think it falls somewhere between high tea and viva glam v.
pic included! no flash, obviously, and yes i am that pale.
LOVE THIS.
With Red Hair, Brown Eyes... and an actual ability to tan (shocking I know), this is the ONLY lipstick I have ever found that I can wear year-round and it will always suit my complexion.
I pair this with so many different glosses (pink based, nude based, gold based), or wear it by itself. I am tempted to stock up because anything I like this much usually gets discontinued.
The color of this l/s is soo beautiful. Its a muted light cool pink that is so subtle and has a beautiful slightly goldish sheen to it. This is one of those colors that is really simple and subtle but actually quite complex. I have NC30 skin and it doesn't clash even though it leans on the cool side. The stay power of this leaves much to be desired, it has a very thin texture that slides around the lips. Its one of those l/s that sits on top and feels slightly greasy and doesn't stay too well. Love the color, but won't buy again or use often due to the annoying stay power.
