It's a great product, I love its texture, it really does its job and I don't mind that leaves oily residues since I wash my face afterwards but the price is soooo high for me. My husband brought me the double package (cheeky seller at duty-free grabbed the opportunity and sold this to an ignorant man) which costed around 45 euros (2 bottles of 125ml). I enjoy this while it lasts, but I don't think I will be buying this again since I think there are plenty of good quality and low price products for this job.
Recently I ran out of eye makeup remover & was using an eau micellaire at night for that purpouse. Can't remember why but I have a couple of those (small promotional bottles) in an armoire. Decided to use it. Horrible! It dosen't remove makeup, it moves it around (just like a previous reviewer mentioned). Messy! Messy! Messy! On top of that, some got in my eyes & the burn was the worst ever. I had to use a gel cleanser after to make sure all the oil was washed off & put cool compresse on my eyes. Result: this morning, eye area feels raw & irritated. I'm already not a fan of Lancôme, this sure didn't help. continued >>

This removes EVERYTHING! Waterproof and not wp mascara and eye liner, powder and cream eye shadow...everything! There is oil in the remover (which is why there is a visible phase separation that you need to shake it up) which I do find leaves a slightly greasy film, but I wash my face after removing my eye make up anyway so it does not bother me. A stand out with this remover is that it does not sting my eyes like some other eye mu removers I've tried (L'oreal...) if you get any in your eye.
To use this, I just take a q-tip and place it at the opening and tip the bottle so that some product gets on the cotton. That's enough for both my eyes! You really only need a little bit as I find that the end of the q-tip absorbs enough remover to get over both eyes of eye make up. A bottle lasts me well over half a year.
I've tried Lancome's Effacil as well and while it is oil free, it does not work as well as this one. As of yet, I have not found a cheaper eye mu remover that works just as well as Lancome Bi-Facil - so I suppose the price is worth it!

Removes waterproof mascara seamlessly, and it's non-irritating! No oily residue and it smells beautiful.
.5 stars off for price
.5 stars off for irritation for removing waterproof mascara. (unfortunately there has been no non-irritating-remover) it irritates the skin around my eyes from all the tugging
This stuff works wonders at removing eye makeup. I only use it to get rid of smudges I get after applying makeup though because the bottles are really expensive. I would not purchase this again because of the price. You can probably find some other makeup removers that do the same as this one. This is great though if you can afford so many bottles a year.
Hands down the best eye makeup remover. Leaves skin soft and doesn't stink the eye. Doesn't cause break outs or irritate the delicate area of the eye. Highly recommend it.
thank goodness that I got this for free, twice. once from a friend and one included in a few gift set.
this removes makeup, but instead of taking it off, it kind of moves it and spread it out when u swipe it, instead of absorbing it you know? you HAVE to shake it to dilute the oil & water. it's a very messy bottle too.
I dislike, would not repurchase. disappointment!! continued >>
I decided to try Lancome Bi-Facil after my sample of Nars Eye Makeup Remover. This is a liquid eye makeup remover that is like water. It doesn't irritate my eye which wear contacts nor does it irritate the skin at all.
However, there are three reasons you might want to consider before purchasing:
Reason 1: It never really got all my face makeup off. I don't excatly blame it. I do wear a full face of makeup everyday with full coverage cream foundation. I did however get all of my mascara off! My last makeup remover couldn't do that at all.
Reason 2: Contrary to what it says, it does leave an oily residue. Not as thick as NARS Eye Makeup Remover but it leaves residue nonetheless.
Reason 3: The packaging. It's just hole. Sometimes the product when tiled can slide down the bottle making it oily and it just a waste of product.
