I have finally found an HG scrub!! Never again will I stray away from the Queen (Helene, that is!). I trust Queen Helene products 100%, there's nothing I prefer more. You cannot beat the price, and more importantly, the quality of their products. I got a 6 oz. tube of this at Sally's Beauty for around $2.50. But it is definitely as (if not more) effective than high-end, pricey face scrubs.

I have only used the Oatmeal N' Honey facial scrub a few times, but I see the difference already. The grains, as other reviewers have mentioned, are pretty fine, and a lot like sand. Fine enough to be gentle, but still very effective. My skin feels so soft and healthy after. My t-zone bumps, and those pesky white heads (esp. on nose!) are already starting to surface and disappear.Perfect. I feel like this facial scrub is very beneficial for my skin- the ingredients don't put me off, and it isn't too harsh, like St. Ive's...which I tried in the past, and vow never to try again.

I happen to like the scent...kind of like honey-ish, cookies. Some others did not like it much, but I personally don't mind it at all..it's not too strong. The consistency is perfect- very creamy, but not icky, sticky, gooey mess like some other scrubs I've tried. The granules are abundant- very abundant, so a little is really all you need. I tried other scrubs- Garnier Nutritionist, Neutrogena foaming scrub- they did not even compare (and they were more expensive). Some other scrubs don't have enough granules to be effective, or on the other hand, are far to abrasive for your delicate facial skin. Not Queen Helene. Try it, chances are you won't be disappointed AT ALL. In fact, you might be a total QH convert!

I use this- about twice a week is fine for my combo (oily t-zone) skin. I also use QH mud pack mask...which is absolutely wonderful, the best mud mask ever! My skin is in good shape, like I got a facial (but at less than $3 for the tube!).
All in all, Queen Helene is definitely THE Queen!

You get a huge tube, bigger than St. Ives for about $2 less than St. Ives. The scrubbing bits are also smaller than St. Ives, which means a smaller amount is more effective. I have been using the same tube for three months, I'm never using St. Ives again.

I said St. Ives way too much in this review.

This stuff is really good. It comes in a big tube for not a lot of money. The scrubbing particles are very fine, yet they still feel scrubby when rubbed on your face. It's the perfect mixture of a chemical exfoliant and a really abrasive one like St. Ives in terms of the texture (bc i dont think there are any chemical exfoliants in this). It's just simple fine grains that are gentle enough to slough away dead skin cells. I have very oily, acne prone skin, and use differen gel every night. This causes flakes, and my whiteheads/ blackheads to come up onto the skin. I use a gentle cleanser on a dialy basis (purpose) so I need a deeper, more abrasive clean once every other day. That's when I use this =)

HG! I bought this recently as I've ran out of the alpha/beta hydroxy exfoliater that I loved. I figure that since it's winter and my face needs something more soothing and moisturizing so I picked this oatmeal/honey scrub, it was only $2.99 anyway so what's there to lose even if it sucks? This scrub is amazing, it smells yummy and the particles are actually as small as the alpha/hydroxy exfoliator that I used before - one of the reasons I loved it. It leaves my skin suppled while get rid of all the dead skin. My skin is literally glowing after the first time I use it, amazing! Would buy this over and over again.

This wonderful scrub is VERY gentle and exfoliates nicely. The honey and oatmeal scent reminds me of a slight cocoa scent (as a matter of a fact this is the EXACT same scent as the Suave Cocoa Butter lotion that I use), never the less , it is a light and pleasant scent that fades quickly. I like how the granules are small enough not to hurt your skin ( Unlike St. Ives Apricot Scrub), yet still large enough to feel.

Unbelievably cheap! It's only around $3 and it works great. I love the smell of oat and honey and it's actually quite light and the scent dissipate within minutes. The scrub particles are smaller than the St Ives Apricot scrub, my only other d/s brand scrub I've tried but it's more moisturizing. Left my face smooth and I think the blackheads are disappearing too. I usually use alpha/beta hydroxy exfoliater as well as those crystals (Philosophy, Serious Skincare) but there's something very very satisfying about grainular scrub, probably because i can *feel* that it's working. I think this works better than Clinique's 7 day scrub and gentle exfloating scrub, but probably not better than the alpha/beta hydroxy exfoliater. But since I love the feeling of scrubbing my face clean, I will continue to use this. Did I already mention how ridiculously cheap this product is?? :)

I've used so so many expensive products on my sensitive skin and broke out like crazy. I can say that if I don't use this at least once a day, my face will break out again. My acne has tamed so much since I started using this scrub. I love it!!!!

I've recently re-discovered Queen Helene products, and this is fabulous. A gentle exfoliator that's perfect for daily use, and it smells so good. Then, there's the added bonus that this brand is so inexpensive.

Thanks to everyone on MMU who's kind enough to share great review about this brand, I decided to try it. This scrub is simple. It does one thing only and does it well. My face feels clean with no smell or residue after use. The particles are a little too much on my cheek but great on my oily t-zone. I use it twice a week and love it. At the amount I'm using, the thin packaging may break before it's used up. But it's readily available in the drugstores and at such low price for repurchase.
