I saw an ad for this in Prevention and I knew I had to try it. I bought it at Walmart, and I thought it was going to be around $12 but it was under $10, so I felt good about it from the start. They only had one bottle in a light shade left, Classic Ivory, but it looked like the right tone, so I went for it. (If I match foundation *exactly* to my neck, it's not a pretty sight. I'm not one of those lovely pale shades, more of a sickly-looking pale shade, so I'm happy if my foundation is slightly warmer toned, like this Classic Ivory because it still manages to work with my neck...

Anyway, after many clicks, I got the product to come up and I dotted it on. It takes very little, but it was easy to get the hang of how much to use. Sometimes I blended the edges out with my fingers, other times the applicator was just the right touch.

I can stop looking for foundation for the rest of my life. I have spend countless $ on foundation since I was in jr. high, tried everything, and just now at 37 I have found the holy grail. I wish I hadn't just spent $32 on foundation at a dept. store a few weeks ago because this Maybelline stuff is perfect. It's just the right shade to give my pale skin a touch of warmth, it doesn't change colors on me, it makes my skin *flawless* (no need for concealer, I just dab the applicator over a spot until it's gone and it blends right in). For the first time in seven years, I feel great about how my face looks. The acne scars are covered, everything looks glowy. My other makeup (blush, eye shadow, etc.) looks so much better on clear, unblemished-looking skin. I know to some people it sounds odd to rave over a foundation, but others will understand what it means to be able to face the world confidently and know your skin looks good when you are not used to it looking good.

If I were to change anything about this makeup, I would take out the spf because it's octinoxate and just another chemical that it could do without. But, it's just that good of a foundation, so I will overlook it.

I believe those with normal to dry skin will appreciate this foundation the most. I can see oily or acne-prone skins not doing well with it. I am pleased beyond measure knowing I can look this good and feel confident and beautiful, and look younger with it. I think if my skin looks good, then the rest of my features can "shine" without anything to detract from them.

Why in the world are teenagers trying a foundation called Age Rewind? No wonder they hate it! Go away! This is for the over 40 Goddesses!!
Just purchased this - really nice feel. Blends so nicely. I like the applicator. I'm not worried about sanitation - my skin is clean. Really, there are much dirtier things to worry about - all the things you touch during the day and then touch your face...
My skin is medium toned and ruddy - nude is a good match for me.

I’ve been using the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser foundation for a few weeks now and my skin feels like silk, well hydrated and my fine lines seem to be less too. This foundation is really very good. It gives a nice smooth look to my skin and I love the consistency. Light, creamy, almost a gel. Good and lasting coverage. Unfortunately the sponge applicator is a waste of good makeup, so I pulled it off and just apply the makeup with either a foundation brush or blender sponge. I'll definitely repurchase.

i LOVE this foundation. i have been searching for years for the *one* and have found it.
the application via the brush/sponge is fantastic. the coverage is great and it is so easy to apply.
it only took me twice to figure out how to apply it effectively. i ensure that i apply it with little up and down and swirling motion to make sure there are no streaks.
i do tend to touch my face a lot so a couple of hours after i apply it i usualy need to reaply it to my nose and chin area. other than that it is fantastic.
i have been using it for a month now and will definently be buying it again. i have been telling all my friends about this product. i have mature skin and it does the job i need!
good one Maybelline!!!

I am presently using this product. I find that it definitely covers very well. The sponge that is used to apply the foundation is very soft on the face. When I first apply the foundation it does tend to look somewhat shiny, but once I apply my powder over it I am very happy with the finished product.

I am absolutely in love with this product but I can also see how it could be problematic for some. I have oily but dehydrated sensitive skin. I was super skeptical of this product because the main ingredietn is a silicone and I am not a huge fan of those. However, some research into the topic has led me to the conclusion that not all silicones are the same and that even though they don't work for some, they work for others. So if you are generally anti-silicones you might like to skip this product. I just decided on a whim more or less to try this nevertheless. And I am glad I did.

This make up is like a concentrated foundation that has a built-in primer. I know they marketed this stuff with a clear Smasbox like silicone primer but if you use this product, a primer is not necessary. Application is weird but not difficult. I need 10 single clicks to cover my whole face generously. I dab the applicator all over my face and then work the product into my skin in a swirling motion. The dabbing is vital. This is a foundation concentrate and you need only VERY little. If you use too many clicks and just start applying it on one area of your face, you will need more clicks and you will end up using too much product. It is essential to dab on the foundation first and THEN distribute it evenly. The sponge is very smooth and it feels nice applying this stuff under my eyes - no tugging or anything. Once I have done that, I work the rest in with my hands. At this point, your skin will look very oily and shiny. Don't be scared. It WILL sink in more and start plumping your skin. But that takes a couple of minutes

The coverage I get is medium, which is nice - it doesn't looks like I have caked on a pound of MU. The finish is very dewy and glowy. And here it comes: my skin actually looks 10 years younger. I am not kidding you. I am only 31, but I have very photosensitive skin and even though I never tan, I got some sun damage and a lot of dryness wrinkles. I look like my twenties never happened! My skin is as plump and smooth as it was when I was about 20. Of course this can't erase deep wrinkles. But it gives such a fresh and glowy and plump flawless finish that I can't stop marvelling at how great my skin looks. The ingredients in this, and I don't know if it is the silicones or the hyaluronic acid or the collagen, plump those fine lines that come from dryness. And even though I can still see them in close-up, they are not visible anymore if I look in the bathroom mirror.

This is not mattifying at all, but I use MAC Blot powder over it and don't have to worry about shiny skin. I DO need to touch it up every three hours or so - but tbh, the smooth and radiant result is worth it to me. And my skin looks so good that I apply foundation even on days when I normally wouldn't - not for the coverage but for the skin-enhancing properties of this stuff: It is not only highly moisturizing but also packed with Goji Berry exract, which is very rich in anti-oxidants and minerals and is generally loved by my skin (I use a Goji Berry Serum instead of moisturizer, too - check out Goji Berries if you can)

UPDATE: With 25% still left, the sponge tip tore so that now I can't use this stuff as intended anymore. So I removed one star. I am still on the fence about whether to keep this product and use it just for the formula. TBH, I am kinda miffe. Well, we'll see.

I decided to try this makeup based on the reviews here and I'm glad I did. I really like it. The color is natural looking and lots of shades available to match most skin tones. It applies very smoothly, like it has a primer built in. I kind of like the applicator, once I got used to how much product I needed to twist up onto the sponge thingie. Once applied in spots on my face, I used my fingers to work into my skin. The coverage is pretty sheer, I usually like a heavier coverage, but it's ok. I always powder my liquid foundation after applying, so that makes the coverage a little better. It seems to last all day and my days are long, I apply my makeup at 3:30 in the morning and don't take it off until 9:00 at night. I would definitely repurchase!

I've been using this product now for a couple of months and i have to say the coverage is great!! I have freckles that I have NEVER liked on my cheeks and nose so I try to find a foundation that has a thick matte coverage. I was thrown off by the sponge tip but it works very well considering, the only problem i had was it does tend to leave streaks so I do go back over and blend with a regular cosmetic sponge. The only downside to this product that I found was that it tends to go fast? I dont know if that is because i tend to use too much or there is a lot of air-pockets in the tube or what but it just seems to go fast.

I love this foundation!! I read the reviews and there was alot of good ones so i bought it and it was amazing!! i use it and a little of maybelline mineral foundation and its really great. i put it on at 6:10am and it stays on till 3:00pm maybe even longer but i defintly would buy it again!

UPDATE: ive been using it for a while and i started noticing that threw out the day my nose would get oily whick i dont like. and it looks like your wearing alot of makeup which for me i dont i like my makeup to be natural looking. recently i tried loreals true match and loved it. i put it on at 5:50 am and take it off at about 3:30 pm it does wonders. i dont find my nose getting shiny and it looks natural. the one i have is carmal beige and its a little orange for me but it works. the next time i buy it i will look for a little less orangy.
