I am very allergic to lip pigments, any lipstick, lip stain or gloss will dry my lips until cracks appear (within a couple of hours), so for years now, I resigned myself to just using lip color for big occasions (and suffering the consequences) and relying on Carmex, La Mer lip balm or SmithsRosebud Balm, wich is not that bad, considering that I am blessed with full pink lips.
Still, this lip butter is just amazing, it hydrates my lips, leaving a gorgeous coral color that really enhances my natural lip color. And the best thing of all is that I have not had any adverse reaction to the pigment.
I cannot wait to try the other colors!
I put I would buy this again, but not in this colour! It is more pigmented than I thought it would be...nothing major, after all, it is pink, so I should have expected that :p But I have pigmented lips, and like to nude them out. If you like that pretty pink tint to your lips, this product is just that. A moisturizing tinted lip butter! I hate applying products in tubs, then you have pink fingertips, and if I'm in the middle of class--I just kind of sit there like an idiot not knowing what to do! haha It was 11$ CDN at Sephora. Not crazy about it, but might try the colourless one eventually!
It is a good product, but it came out brighter than I thought it would me. It is something that I don't like, but if you are looking for a bright pink color this is going to work well for you.
It's a really nice sheer pink color that has a subtle sheen to it. It makes my lips really soft and I just feel like smiling more when I'm wearing it.
I love this product. The color is great for my NC25 complexion. It's not sticky at all. It doesn't last very long on your lips though that's why I gave it a 4. I did buy another lip butter from them.
I see a lot of people love this, but it didn't do it for me. I didn't like the pink tint with my NC35 complexion, and someone else mentioned getting it under their nails a lot when trying to fish it out of the container...happens to me too! I think the texture was ok, but nothing that great. A little too sweet for me...totally reminds me of a Bonne Belle lip pot I had years ago (which was cool...in 7th grade.) I prefer Smith's Rosebud Salve or L'occitane 100% shea (in the tin) to this any day. Def not buying it cause there's better stuff out there imo.
I bought a Korres lip butter in Wild Rose (love the formula) before going back to get Pomegranate. I passed on it the first time around because it looked too orange in the pot, but a few members who already own this said it wasn't like that once applied. They were right! The pop of color you get from this is a lovely warm rosy coral, which brightens up my face so nicely. I love the creamy formula, and it makes my lips so soft. Lasts a bit longer than my average gloss, but the scent and taste is so pleasant that I don't mind reapplying. The only thing I'm not so crazy about is the pot design - I don't like dipping my fingers into gloss/balm - but it's not enough to deter me from repurchasing.
I usually just need a lip balm to keep my lips moisturized, but I love this especially because it adds a good pop of color too. I can put on a little for a sheer wash of color or more for more color. My mom loves this too and I had to get her one since she kept using mine. I like that this is moisturizing, but I do find that it's sometimes not enough for when my lips are very flaky.
I very much like this. The color is a reddish coral that looks bright in the pot but wears quite sheerly. Those with pigmented lips will probably be disappointed in the color payoff.
While I wear this more and more during the day, I originally bought this in hopes of finding a replacement for my beloved Bourjois Baume de Nuit, which is no longer available at Ulta or Sephora. While I still think Bourjois' product makes a better balm for bed, I've worn this lip butter all night and woken up to soft, moisturized lips. During the day the lasting power is also quite good, although it doesn't stand up to food and drinks.
I very much like the formulation, since it's creamy, but with a gel-like consistency so that it doesn't feel too heavy. This also has a very candy-sweet scent that I quite like, although I can't say there's anything genuinely pomegranate-y about it.
The reason I'd give this a 4/5 is because, like others have mentioned, the packaging is exceptionally annoying. I actually have lip pots that contain just about the same amount of product but are half the size just because the packaging is far less bulky. I don't know, I suppose Korres is trying to trick me into thinking there's more product than there is? I actually think that this product is soft enough to go in a squeeze tube, and I would be far more eager to repurchase if it was. If it must be in a pot, I still don't understand why companies can't at least make the pots short and wide so it's easier to get the product out. I also really prefer lip products with SPF, and I don't think that Korres is as natural and pure as it claims. Despite this, I still really like the product and would recommend it.
Sheer, but pretty color. Moisturizing. I want to buy some of the other colors.
