I don't know what made me buy this when I first did, as everytime I look at it I think it's way to dark for me! When applied with a light hand though, it does exactly what it says on the tin - an outdoor glow. Great for pale girls or those who don't want an orange 'glow' as it has a lovely pink undertone. Also it has a lovely, almost spicy scent which I really love! I do love my Benefit 10, but it is a bit disco-bally so this is a lovely alternative. I said no to repurchasing because I will NEVER use this all up!
I love this blush, look very natural and match my skin well. Its quite pigmented tho so I won't need to apply too much each time. so one package will go a long way! I got it from strawberry net when it was on sale so the price was not too expensive
I'm in love. This is the first blush I've ever bought. Prior to Dallas, I only ever used bronzers as my very fair skin has a bit of a rosacea thing going on so I always feared blushes would bring out the redness/broken capillaries in my cheeks/nose/forehead. My skin is otherwise yellow-toned, erring on the edge of neutral. Anyway, up until a few days ago I had been using Bobbi Brown's matte bronzing powder in Medium daily. Despite my fears of blush, I began searching for a bronzer with a pinkish tint, and came across Dallas. It's perfect. I'm obsessed. As long as I'm wearing foundation to even out the redness in my skin (which I do everyday anyway), this looks amazing. Such a beautiful color... a rosy bronze. I'm quite pale so I have to use a light hand, and it gives stunning glow that makes me look awake and lovely, like I spent the day in the sun. Definite repurchase.
*UPDATE - I found that if I apply too much of this, it can look a tad orange or "off" on my yellow-toned skin. I've been alternating between Dallas, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil, and Bobbi Brown Medium (still my go-to for most days).
This has been a staple in my make up routine. I only use this as a blush I use Moon Beam or my newly discoverd e.l.f. shimmering facial whip on the apples of my cheeks. Brush a few strokes of this on top and viola you have a beautiful glow. It is a bit pricey but, it definetly lasts a long time.
ok this is good i like it- but be carefull too much and you look like a plum!it is not a usual coloured bronzer it does have a plumish kind of tint to it...one time it went slightly wrong on me and caused my mum to ask why did someone punch you in the face.......hmm so yes be careful!!!when applied lightly it gives u a nice bit of colour!
I bought Dallas to use as a bronzer on the recommendation of the SA at the Benefit counter. I'm new to bronzers (I typically just own my super pale skin and don't try to add much color, even in the summer time), so I was a little leery of this one, but I've been pretty pleased. It has just enough pink to keep it from turning too orange or muddy on my cool/neutral, pale skin. I do have to use a light hand, but that would be the case with any similar product. It doesn't make me look tan, per se, but does make me look like I have some color, so it achieves its purpose. I won't be repurchasing, but that's not because I don't like it or because there is a problem with the quality...rather, I don't think I'll ever run out of this generously-sized bronzer, and there are too many other good ones out there that I still want to try!
This blush grew on me.
I purchased the Dallas blush/bronzer more than a month ago.
Applied it on my cheeks 4 to 5 times within last month.
Didn't like how it looked on my cheeks the first 3 times.
Retrospect it was b/c I applied too much on my cheeks.
The 4th and 5th times I tried it on, I applied a very light hand and it worked!
It gave my cheeks a very light natural looking rosy flush which is very similar to the natural redness I get on cheeks in winter months. :-D
Love this product!!! Tried it on at sephora and immediately fell in love! i know its more of a bronzer than a blush, but its become a staple in my beauty routine. Reccomend!
I really like the color this adds to my cheeks.. a dark mauve-y flush, but I have to use a reaaaaaally light hand, or I look really muddy.. definately cannot put it all over my face without looking like I have been playing in the dirt. I like the darker color in the 10 box powder better since I can apply it less carefully. It is alright. I wouldn't repurchase although it will take me many many years to finish this off!
This color is a rosy bronze with no shimmer but more of a sheen. It may look a little dark in the pan but once applied it's a soft dusty rose sorta glow. Right now I cannot wear dandelion, it's just too light so I find myself reaching for this. While this isn't a blush, it's an illuminizer I use it as a blush only. It's a bit dark imo to be called an illuminizer. This does give a nice radiant glow and I would def buy again! I also want to add, I actually did not like the box packaging but after purchasing several of the boxed powders, I really have started to like them!!
