I don't care what anyone says, this is fabulous! It smells very clean and soft. It doesn't smell old on me. Men do like it. It is different for everyone.
This moisturizer has been a god-send for me. I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin that is incredibly dry in the winter. Most moisturizers either clog my pores or feel heavy or sticky on my skin. This is so soothing (smells like cucumber), adds moisture without feeling heavy, and has spf 15. The only negatives are the price (it's around $30 for 1.7 ounces, which I guess compared to the Creme de la Mer set isn't so bad) and the pot packages (I prefer a pump but it's not runny enough). Note: this is quite different from the Daywear lotion, which I like but not as much. It's not as moisturizing yet somehow clogs pores slightly.
I really like this. It's hard to find a moisturizer with a titanium dioxide SPF 15 that spreads nicely and doesn't feel too thick. I wouldn't recommend this for those of you with oily skin, but for my normal to dry skin it's perfect. Give a nice glow and hydrates well.
I love this cream, it's pretty basic though, but if you're looking for a nice cream w/ sunscreen, this one is a keeper. It doesn't feel heavy/greasy and leaves your skin soft.
Daywear is a great moisturizer.I find it to leave my skin very smooth, but not heavy like Resilience makes it feel. The cucumber scent is refreshing, but I wouldn't recommend a product with such a high fragrance content for sensitive skin.My skin tends to be oily and this creme did not excaserbate the problem.
I love using this moisturizer before applying my makeup. It dries very quickly and doesn't leave your skin feeling oily or greasy. And, best of all, it has a SPF 15 built right in!
Nice cucumber scent, and an OK moisturiser, but nothing special about this IMO.
Well yes it smells divine, the texture is exquisite and it delivers in terms of SPF protection ... BUT ... this is Australia. You don't daintily dab on your overpriced ickle-pritty smelling SPF before skipping out to so much as collect the mail - you
S L A T H E R it on, all over - copiously! For me, Daywear, as lovely as it was, didn't last more than a fortnight. If I get a freebie next time I visit the EL counter, great. But I can live without it.
This is the best moisturizer that I have ever used. I have dry skin (drier due to using Renova, which works by the way). Daywear cream is wonderful--feels good and has titanium dioxide(which blocks those awful UVA rays). Everyone must use sun protection with UVA blockers (like zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, or Parsol 1789). If your moisturizer doesn't contain one of these SPF protectors, you will not be protected against UVA rays, which cause wrinkles! Beware of products that have an SPF factor but do not contain any of the three above ingredients--you will not be protected! Daywear is great because it will protect you.
I have used this cream for a long time and found that it was 'just a moisturiser' - it did nothing for my skin!! I have moved on to Lancome Vinefit and have really noticed a difference!! My mum swears by Daywear though so maybe it suits some more than others!
