Mauve it Over is quite a pretty nudish pale orange to me. It's very lovely on and I've been told it's natural looking on me. I LOVE wearing it when I'm wearing something light blue because the orange in it adds a really pretty contrast and gives me a glow. The formula is fantastic-- light and creamy but a touch dry which is to be expected in a matte lipstick.
the colour appears way too orange on me.. not to mention it's way too dry, even with moisturizing my lips, still looks awful.. reminds me of a colour i would wear in the 90s lol
Perfect perky everyday nude shade for women NC35 and darker. Ladies of color pick this up instead of nude attitude.
Def a fav already. I ordered this online and was surprised when it arrived. Thought it was going to be similar to a darker colour I have by Revlon, ginger rose. Very very pretty!
Edit: I do still really like this - but I'm not a huge fan of nude coloured lips on me anymore. Que sera, sera.
One of my favourite lipsticks ever. It's the perfect nude for me, and I only like wearing matte lip products, so this is just brilliant. Would recommend this to anyone that listens.
love!love!love! color looks good on my skin tone. good for everyday lipstick. a caboodle-must-have. definitely would repurchase this product again.
I love this lipstick! It's the perfect natural lip color, it's like my lips but better. This is my everyday lipstick. When I'm feeling a bit bold I wear fabulous fig, which is another great color.
I would definitely re-purchase!!
A very sweet nude colour. It so creamy, and cheaper compare to premium brands.
Yes it will accentuate dry lips, so what I do everynight before bed I apply vaseline/Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, then in the morning I have moist lips ready to wear any lip colour ;o)
This is almost the exact color of my lips, and since it's matte, it looks so natural on. Perfect for no-makeup days or to use with heavy eyes. It's my first matte lipstick, also, and I was worried about it feeling dry, but it goes on creamy and stays that way. Lasted quite a while and didn't fade in any unflattering way. I can see this accentuating dry lips, so I suggest using a balm or exfoliating prior to application. It also looks great under a gloss if you find you're not feeling the matte finish. (Since it's so close to my natural color, it works well to even out my lips for certain colors of gloss.) I run out of lipsticks infrequently, but I'll definitely keep this in my collection as long as they make it!
I bought this when there was BOGO on Revlon lip products. I had been waiting this sale for soooo long because I really wanted to get the Super Lustrous Lip gloss in Nude Lustre so I picked this up with it. And I'm soo glad i did! It's a pink nudey sort of colour, similar to my lips. I love how it glides on so smoothly and the matte finish. The only thing is that it settles a bit into the cracks, soo I might have to wear gloss over it or something.
The packaging is nice too, it has a matte black casing and the top of the lid is clear so you can see the colour.
The regular price of this is around $22AUD, expensive for a drugstore product in my opinion, but then again all drugstore products in Australia are so damn expensive.
