I love MAC Studio Fix, this is my favorite foundation because not only is it the only foundation that has a true match to my skin color [I'm the lightest they have, NC15] It also gives me full coverage, and [in my opinion] gives you an airbrushed look.

I really like this foundation. The only issue I have is that it transfers onto things quite easily (like my phone). But that's cos I don't use a setting powder. Despite that, it lasts well throughout the day. Doesn't go orange. Perfect match for my skin tone. I'm Chinese and most foundations out there are very pink, but this one allows me to keep the warm(?) undertone. I'm an NC35. Removes all my redness from scarring. Don't even need to use concealer with this, unless I'm off to a formal event. I'm not quite sure if it breaks me out badly enough to say it causes break outs (for me), because without my acne medication, I break out anyway.I find it's quite mattifying. So it does help to contour and add blush/bronzer to add warmth and dimension back to my face. I guess it's not as natural-looking as other foundations out there. I hear NARS Sheer glow gives a nice finish if you're looking for that. But that brand isn't sold over here so there's no trying that one for me.Packaging's fine - easily improved with a pump. And there's a good amount in there that has lasted me quite a while. (I use it almost everyday)A lot of reviewers on YouTube are constantly saying there are better alternatives to this, and have moved on from this to other foundations.So.. with that knowledge, I will probably keep looking for a better foundation. But I'll give this one 5 lippies anyway because I have yet to find one as suited to me as this. =)------UPDATE: Don't really dare to use this anymore now that I'm off the Accutane and my skin's doing quite well. Minus 1 lippie for probably causing my previous breakouts. Still.. A good foundation for people with good skin. I wish I could carry on using it as the shade fits me perfectly, is full coverage, and is reasonably priced. Oh well =( , onto the next one...

I adore this foundation. It took me YEARS to find one that fit my skin tone (NW20). I've used many other foundations in the past that have left me looking like I was wearing a mask. My fiance said it best (after I applied another well known foundation), "Line of Demarcation". I was livid! So I figured, Hell, why not see what MAC has to offer. After having the S/A apply it to my face, I was in love. She did explain to me though that when applying, it must be done quickly as to not have the foundation streak. I have to agree with many of the reviews about the packaging and price of this foundation. I wish it had the pump, similar to the of the Pro Longwear foundation, instead of just the open "mouth" that the bottle has. And I guess the motto "you get what you pay for" comes in handy when I debate myself over the price.Aside from that though, I do adore this foundation.

I cannot fault this foundation, it is my hands down all time favourite! Colour range is excellent, coverage is amazing, lasting power is unrivalled. I think its also a pretty good price compared to the high end brands. Only thing is I cannot wear this everyday, & I have to make sure I wash it off completely before I sleep otherwise it does give me a few clogged pores & bumps in the morning. If I do wash it off then no probs! I tend to save this for night, looks amazing in photos- flawless!

I'm a little disappointed! : (. I've been using revlon colorstay and really like it but a few friends had suggested Mac's studio fix fluid. I was hesitant so insted I went out and bought an even more expensive Laura Mercier oil free foundation but found that it made me look a tad bit gray and in the words of my niece "dirty". Later did I know Laura Mercier's product has some sort dioxide that would darken your skin if you have already darker skin so.... I went to macys and got a sample of the SFF in NC40 mainly bc I prefer a more yellow tone look and they said this tone would be perfect for me which IT IS. I tried it and absolutely love love love how it looks on my skin but after a few days of trying this product plus previously trying other foundation products I've been getting bumps that would turn into whiteheads on my cheeks and a big ole pimple on my chin. I'm not sure if it's exactly the SFF that is causing this but alot of reviews on this foundation are saying the same thing about breakouts. I'm sad bc I love how SFF looks on me. I would suggest SFF to a friend bc of it gives great coverage and due to the fact that everyones skin is different and it could be perfect for them. I'm soo jealous of those who's skin actually work well with this product. I love the coverage and the yellowish tone this foundation gives. Boo hoo for me.

I wanted to love this stuff, but after a few hours I looked orange! I read some reviews on MUA and went straight out and got Revlon ColorStay which did not turn orange! I guess if you wanna look like Snooki this is your stuff.

EDIT***: I knocked this down to a 2 lippie rating. Its been about 6 months since my last review and I'm finding my tastes have changed. First of all, this foundation looked very cakey on me. It aged me about 10 years! I did some shopping around, getting samples of almost every mac foundation, only to find they all kind of made my skin look cakey, heavy and not fresh faced. The only one that works for me is Face and Body. Now, I'm finding I don't need as much coverage as I thought I did. I switched to powder foundations (first the Mac msfn which looked a tiny bit heavy too, then to Bare Minerals, which looks lovely) and noticed my skin improving quickly. I think the heavy liquid foundation was damaging my skin. I've been using bb creams, powder foundations, tinted moisturizers and water based foundations and I think all of them are better than this foundation. If you're young, don't use liquid foundation. It will damage your skin. If you have more mature skin, I would recommend water based foundations like Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. It has really good coverage but is light and natural looking at the same time. I would only recomment SFF for someone who wants flawless, plastic looking skin and doesn't mind a bit of caking. also, this looks decent on a night out, because in dark night clubs, you don't notice cakey, heavy foundation, you only see perfect skin.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I absolutely love this foundation...amazing coverage and beautiful look. I returned it though because it broke me out. I bought pro longwear (which I don't like nearly as much) and found it broke me out too. But then, because pro longwear sticks to my foundation brush so much, I had to wash my brushes everyday and suddenly the break outs stopped. So after I use up my pro longwear, I will buy SFF again and try it out, washing my brushes after every use. I really love love love SFF. Perfect coverage, perfect application and just amazing foundation... if your skin doesn't react to it.

i love mac products......except for their foundations. its not that i hate it, but it just turns my face after a couple of hours very very oily and shiny. i guess it will work great for people with normal to dry skin since the coverage is great as well

I wanted to Love MAC , but I have come to the conclusion my skin doesn't love MAC. I am an NC 30-35. I lovee the lasting power. I do traditional lao dancing for lao new year since 2006 & ive used this foundation for all performances. Thru sweat & extreme sun exposure, it has held up. Ive gone from 6 am til 2 am the next morning n my foundation looks great. Now for the down side :(, I always after taking this foundation off find a couple of bumps on my forehead. Its really upsetting.. The photo I posted, was around 2-3 pm, I had done my make up at 6 am.

I absolutely adore this product. Like any girl, I've been in search of "the Holy Grail of foundation" for the longest time, and the closest I'd come was Revlon ColorStay. However I really wanted to find something that felt better against my skin than Revlon.Studio Fix Liquid not only feels better but covers better as well, and while I purchased a MAC concealer at the same time I honestly have little use for it--this foundation even covers my undereye circles.Since my skin's very light, I use NC20 Studio Fix Liquid in conjunction with C2 Studio Fix (the pressed powder/foundation combo). I find that that way, the pressed powder gets rid any bit of yellow hue of the liquid (the C2 in liquid had a reddish hue, so the NC20 was better). But that's the technical stuff. What you really need to know is that the product works like a charm, feels way better than any pharmacy counterparts, and is great for acne-prone skin like mine. And please, apply with a brush. A but of this stuff goes a long way.
