There's no substitute. This is the absolute BEST liner out there. Granted, it's $18 but it's worth every penny (and more). I've tried other gel liners and liquid liners but I keep coming back to this one. I prefer this over Point Black Liquidlast, even. With a really good brush, this makes a nice thin or thick line and stays pretty well. I do go over it with BE Weather Everything and even by the end of my 8 hour shift I look almost as good as when I first put it on. The jar lasts a long time but it does tend to dry up and crack over time. I find that if you add a little DI water and mix the liner up, it lengthens the life of it and sort of reconstitutes the original consistency making it just as easy to apply as the first day I bought it.
I don't know what I can really say about Blacktrack that probably hasn't been said before... If I could only have a three products the rest of my life, or even one, Blacktrack fluidline would be it... I have always had such difficulty applying liquid liner and even pencil liner to my upper lash line, and when I discover fluidline my prayers were answered. It has such a smooth, even texture, brushes just glide over your skin and there's not a need to apply excessive product and go over and over your line. I've personally found that a fine liner brush is the easiest way to apply instead of an angled brush, which I found to be less accurate. The only gripe I have personally is that when I got down to about 20% or so of my very first jar (I am only on my second now) the fluidline become very dried out from air exposure, and I don't leave the jar open for lengthy periods of time, so I had to retire the jar and buy a new one. This wasn't really a loss though, because I had this jar for a VERY long time, and as I said this is only my second jar. In conclusion, if you don't have Blacktrack fluidline, get on the bandwagon, and spend the best 15 dollars you ever will... You won't regret it, and you will get the most beautiful winged liner you've ever imagined in your wildest dreams, as well as the best base for your dramatic, sexy smokey eyes (forget to mention that earlier!).
I love this product. Its very easy to put on once you practice lining your eyes a few times. It is a true BLACK color.
Once you slide the cream over your eyelid, you really won't need to go over the same line twice because it's really creamy.
The only negative is that the packaging (jar) does allow air to get into it and once you use this everyday for a few weeks, it starts to become dry. I spray it with FIX+ and it immediately becomes softer. ***This trick guarantee's I'll get through the entire jar before buying a new one.

Fluidline is the best. Creamy and easy to deal with. Dries out kind of quickly, but the coverage is great and long-lasting.
Blacktrack! Oh how I love you. I love how creamy you are, how easy it is to apply you, how you last so long ....... The only thing i don't like is that you are NOT easy to take off if i make a mistake while applying you! Must use good eye make up remover. Other than that, your black color is so vivid, you really last all day and I prefer you over liquid eyeliner anyday!
Use a mac 210 brush and you will great beautiful results with this dense gorgeous liner. The lined finely around your eyes makes you look awake like no other! The jar is great and will the liner does dry out a bit you can still use it all up and moisten your brush with a bit of visine.

Even though the container is a little heavy, since it is glass, I would still continue to buy this product. It truly is one of my HG items. I use it on a daily basis, every day...and it lasts me about a year per jar. LOVE it! I love getting a new container because its soo smooth and creamy :)
I can't even begin to express my love for this eyeliner. It is my HG eyeliner without a doubt! I have tried countless eyeliners, from drugstore to high end, and this provides the darkest, best color, the LONGEST coverage (literally doesn't move a milimeter), and the most compliments! (: It's an instant confidence booster!
my first MAC purchase and i love it. I use it on my lower waterlines with a liner brush but the problem is when i use it on the upper lid also it makes my eyes too dramatic for the day time. great staying power.... i wil surely buy it again
This is a smooth, true black, non-smudging gel eyeliner. I use any of the MAC eyeliner brushes to apply this. You need a good eye makeup remover to get this off.. Ponds cold cream gets the job done for me. The only things that dont like about it is when I travel I have to bring a brush for this, and I also don't like that its very hard to use this on my lower lash line or waterline. I just use a pencil for those areas.
