I'm very much in like with this product. Though i wouldn't say it's as good as they make it out to be on TV (like the girl with the lashes so thick it looks like one piece) but it's a good product. I wish those TV ads would let the product be advertised instead of putting false lashes on models and then advertising it as thought the product really did that. Regardless though this is a good product. No clumping, quite thick, covers every lash, no smudge and washes out with soap and water. It elongates and thickens lashes without making them dry or stiff. And the brush itself is ingenious and easy to maneuver and get to every lash. Overall I'm happy with it and i would buy it again and again.

I love the Maybelline Colossal Volum' mascara, so I thought this would be even better . . . wrong. I have thin but long lashes and I was just not impressed. Not the worst mascara, but did not give a "false lash" look in any way. Very runny and took forever to dry. Will not repurchase.

I was so excited to use this mascara for when I for when I go out at night because I love the super voluminous/fake eyelash look. There are better mascaras out there. The mascara ran a lot down my face and didn't add enough volume.

Worst mascara in the world. I used this for couple of days and then threw it out. I could barely get any product out and had to go over my lashes a hundred times and even still looked like I barely had anything on. All it did was clump my lashes together and made them super hard. And also, the first time I tried it on, it made my eyes sting.

Great Mascara!! I have naturally full and long lashes and after being curled, this made them look soooooooooo fake it was unreal, I wear it to high school everyday and my friends say my lashes look amazing, even if I only use a few coats!! Love the brush and wet formula!!

This mascara is a little worse than "OK". I already have full lashes (decent length) and I have to say it didn't make my lashes look any better......it just CLUMPED the hairs together.
Like another reviewer said, it didn't brush thru the lashes.....I HATE the brush.

* UPDATE!!!
It does get a bit thicker in about 2 weeks, clumps on end of wand but...you can get such a good "false lash" look, vol plus length. I think this is the best mascara Maybelline has ever made and on sale, it saves almost 75% of the cost of a high end mascara, meaning you can toss every month or so with no compunction. A winner.

So far, so good! I like this mascara a lot. Here's what I like:

1. The brush. It's a flat brush, with "teddy bear" bristles" and curved. As if they took the Voluminous brush, flattened it, then curved it gently. This lets you get a good sweep of mascara but is not too skinny to build volume.

2. It is buildable. It does not go on (so far) in one swoop; like many Maybelline mascaras, it is a bit wet for my tastes but you can do three coats with no clumping. I was able to use the end of the brush to get to the small lashes in the corners of the eye.

3. It lengthens well, it also volumizes. Not as much volume as "Voluminous" from L'Oreal, which is my gold standard. But with three coats, I get long, defined and thickenend lashes.

4. It washes off well. After washing my face with DHC washing powder, I did not have big raccoon rings to be dealt with by my eye makeup remover. Seems to wash a bit cleaner than the mascaras I normally use (Smashbox Bionic and Benefit Bad Gal.)

It remains to be seen if the formula clumps up in the (attractive purple) tube. I got mine on sale for about $5.50 at a drugstore, which takes the sting out of the fact that DS mascaras now are around $8. If this holds up, it may become a new HG mascara.

Instead of my usual CG Last Blast, I decided to pick up The Falsies, and I like the results of this mascara, but the wand/bristles bother me a bit. Although this doesn't give my lashes the false-lash effect (which I wasn't expecting anyway), it does give them a lengthened, fanned-out, feathery look, while still imparting some volume. It doesn't bother my finicky eyes, and I didn't notice any smearing after a 12-hour day. However, using the wand/bristles will take some getting used to. I actually like the curved brush - it makes the mascara easier to apply and coat every lash. However, the flexible "joint" on the wand is a bit too flexible, so I find myself getting mascara on my eyelid and waterline. Plus, the tiny fibers on the bristles that end up on your lashes sometimes hang precariously from the tips, looking more like lint and less like an extension of my eyelashes (if that makes sense), so I have to remove them. All in all, I love the elongated, feathery look to my lashes, but the process in ultimately achieving this look takes some getting used to... at least for me, anyway. ;)

I love this mascara, it really makes my lashes long and thick. Not like the commercial but better than what I was using.

This is the only mascara I have ever found that is perfect for my lashes. I actually notice a difference... a huge difference...between this and other mascaras. The others were all the same. It really extends and lifts my lashes... no eyelash curler needed. And the blackest black color is dark enough to really define without looking scary. I can do one or two layers for work, and do 3 layers for evening for a dramatic look. I love it!
