Let me start off by saying that I have always stayed away from eyeliner because i thought they just looked really weird on me, and tended to crease and smudge a lot. I guess this is because i didn't know how to apply it properly and was using the wrong products. However I decided to give eyeliner another try and found this on makeupalley, and used this along with mac brush 208. I love that you can easily control how this eyeliner is spread-thin, thick, defined, smokey, etc., And this has very good staying power too. It'll stay very well, even after I have gone to the gym and sweated a lot. And I do asian lids with eye crease that tend to make me crease. Usually i'll find a little bit of creasing after 6 hours of wear or something, but i just dab it away with my finger, and it's good as new. I do recommend this product. It's easy to use even for a beginner like me.

I had always been hesitant to try gel liner, because i didn't know how much skill i would have with a brush. This stuff is the BEST. I have used MAC powerpoint before, and was disappointed by how easily it smudes and ends up underneath my eyes. Decided to give this a try, and i will never go back to pencil liners.

I use this with Sonia Kashuk eye liner brush and it gives me the thinnest, cleanest line ever. The color is BLACK. No flaking at ALL. waterproof. I took this off with eye makeup remover at night and i still had the wearing eyeliner the day before look.

i don't get why so many people are raving about this liner.... I gave this a couple of tries, and everytime i use it.. it fades, creases like CRAZY, and smudges
i put it on in the morning and by the middle of the day... i end up with a single line on the middle of my eyelid... it creased so badly...
it also fades really easily, hence why i only end up with a single line in the middle of my eyelid in the middle of the day
it smudges.... definitely not very waterproof
definitely not buying this again!!

***UPDATE***
I recently dug out this eyeliner again and fell in love with it after doing several things to prevent smudging/creasing on my eyes.
I put on Urban Decay's Primer Potion before applying this gel liner. After applying this liner with my MAC 263 brush, I set it with a loose powder
After doing all this my eyeliner looks good all day long. I no longer experience creasing/smudging which makes me really happy because I finally found an eyeliner that works for me!!

My HG eye liner! Long wearing and versitle- I can use this with a flat liner brush to create a precision liquid eyeliner effect or a smudge brush for a smokey effect. A little goes a long way so the pot lasts forever!

This glides on perfect, but for ppl with a steady hand and are use to using liquid liners. I, unforunatly, am not so I have major issues applying this. But colorpay off is gorgeous and I love that it goes right on to where I apply and sticks, does not leak into my pores or drip or anything like that! =) Will repurchase if i need to, because this thing will last FOREVER!

This is the be all, end all eye liner!

I wish I would have found this product 10 years ago. It is amazing. This product allows for perfect precision. Great for detailed cat eyes. I have never used a liner that stays the way this one does. Buy it.

bought this today, awesome for creating the perfect "Angelina Jolie " cat's eye. Major tip: ensure to use a small angle brush to apply to get proper control on application and proper effect
Also really awesome when creating the smokey eye. Stays put all day. I read reviews about it drying up but the MA at MAC said this happens if leave lid off too often and too long. Awesome product.

I bought the Fluidline as well, since it seems to be a super-famous MAC product for a reason...

Well, I don't like it a lot....I can't achieve that neat line I get with other lines, maybe I don't have the right brush, but I used already three different ones without much difference. (..and it's definitely not the first liner I use)
Besides, it didn't stay on better than the BN cake eyeliner, which I use normally, it stays on worse...everytime I used it, it either smudges or tends to flake of - furthermore it made my eyes water, even if not used on the waterline, just on the lower lashline.

It only works good as a base, but I didn't buy it for that purpose so - I won't purchase it again.

I am not fond of the packaging, kind of wish there was another way. Anyway I love the product, it says very well and looks awesome once you get the hang of lining. Some black liners look waxy or kind of shiny after they dry which really does not work for me. This one dries to a true black matte looking finish. I have tried the L'oreal HiP version and to me this one totally dominates in so many ways.

I have been using this eyeliner everyday since I bought it last summer. It's a beautiful rich black that makes your eyes pop. Dipdown was my favorite but I haven't touched it since I bought Blacktrack. I use the bent eyeliner brush from Sonia Kashuk. I will definitely repurchase in the future.
