I do not recommend this eyeliner for your waterline. The few times I used it there it smudged real bad. This isn't an issue for me though, because I don't like using eyeliner on my water line.

I do believe that it works well to line your eyelids. It stays on throughout the day with little to no smudges. Its a dark black that matches the color of my mascaras. It has a twist up, so you never have to sharpen it.

I wish that I could sharpen the tip of it sometimes in order to make a straight, crisp line. I don't like pulling my eyelids but its seems that that is the only way I can make a crisp line.

One of the better eye liners I've tried. I bought this because using fluid line on my bottom lashes is apparently a no-no, plus it doesn't smudge as well as a pencil liner. I like the technakohl liner because it is very easy to apply. Plus it is a very true black. Like *really* black which is great. It literally glides on and does not tug like I've found with other eye liners. The staying power is actually very nice as well. It does wear off a bit during the day but I think for me it's because this time of year I have allergies that make my one eye water all day. I think it might be the bright lights at work as well that are causing this problem. It really sucks but this stuff stays put considering. I may try other products after this or I may not. I've only had it for a couple days so we'll see if the love I have for it now will stay.

Without any priming or any powder layered over, this stuff will smudge within hours. So make sure you prep well! and it will perform. I use this when i don't have time to gel line my eyes (which stays on wayy better). This is pretty smooth and doesn't tug at the skin. I like using the technakohls for my waterline and they basically stay put, which is great. I wouldn't recommend using this on the upper lashline though.

Great for lining in the waterline and this does not budge like most liners.

I use the general MAC Kohl Liner and the Fluidline because I either want a smudge/cream look or bullet-proof fine lines, but I CANNOT use MAC's Kohl Liner on my water line without irritation. This is wonderful because I can use this on my water line without irritation! It also wears better on the lower lash line than the Kohl in regards to smudging (I don't want too much smudging underneath because I don't want raccoon eyes). I will be buying this again, and the Kohl Line... and the Fluidline! I have had a great experience with MAC's eye liners!

I love how intense this black color is, and I use it to line my lashline and waterline. It stays on my lashline all day and stays a decent time on my waterline. However sometimes it will smudge badly and sometimes it will not smudge through the whole day. It doesn't tug and pigmentation is nice. I've bought this many times and will continue to buy it.

I really like this eyeliner. It looks really pretty on. Doesnt smudge and stays on till I take it off. Def will repurchase.

I bought this eyeliner because the mac sales associate recommended it for my waterline. I HATE IT!!! It smudges like crazy and it didn't last on my waterline. I'll stick to my fluidline to line my eyes and smashbox's cream liner for my waterline.

This eyeliner is in my opinion the darkest black out there. I love the rich black color. Goes on very nicely and smoothly. I switched to this after using Mary Kay forever and am very happy with the results. Still smudges around by the end of the day but what liner doesn't. Will def buy again when I run out. Love me some MAC!!

It started out working great. But the more I use it the more I notice its faults. Does not stay on waterline. Sometimes when I spend a long time of having my eyes open ( on comp or in class) i find that it transfers to my upper eye. And after really long use it almost looks a dark blue on me... I was hoping it would be better. But I really only use it when I am late and don't have time for Fluidline.
