great texture, does not actually cover the dark circles but makes it not so black......gives the face some radiance. the brush makes it easy to apply. would consider buying if feeling rich, as it cost sgd 52.
Good points: Good colour, decent coverage, easy to use, no spillage in my bag (v. important) and fuss free.
Bad Points: £22 for a concealer! ouch! Also the brush starts to smell funky after a while- not good. Colour not as good a match as Prescriptives concealor wand. Will purchase if I find it in duty free tho
I can't stand thick concealers, and even the wand-type ones with the sponge tip can be a little too thick for me. This is beautiful stuff. Very light and fluid, but actually provides the coverage I need! Very natural looking, too--you really can't see that I'm wearing concealer, like you can with other concealers I've used. I bought it primarly for the darkness under my eyes, but also use it to cover the redness on the sides of my nose, and other compexion nasties. Stays put, doesn't settle into lines, and goes on like the fluid it is. I brush it on and smooth it in with my ring finger. Can't complain at all about this product since it delivers, but dang, it should be a little less pricey! Interesting comments about the product going rancid after a while. I do note that the instructions say that you should wipe off the brush every week with isopropyl alcohol--perhaps doing a little preventative maintenaince along these lines would help keep the product fresh.

This is great stuff - unfortunately like some other reviewers my YSL Touche Eclat went off :-(
At the time I didn't know that it was my concealer that was causing my undereyes to itch, go red and flaky - it took me about a week to realise! I carried on using the Touche Eclat thinking that it was my eye cream or my contact lenses or mascara.. I smelt my TE and it was stinky - it really smelt like it had gone off. I'd only had the TE for about a month :-(
I've since found out that this has happened to others (via word-of-mouth and MakeupAlley - so I'm reassured that this problem wasn't just in my head. The #2 colour is slightly light for my skin (half Japanese/half British) but the right yellow tone - the other colours are bit too pink for Asian skins. It's also a little drying/creasy at the best of times for the delicate under-eye area.
I'm not saying that this is a bad product - it's a good one - it's just not for everyone! My sister (who is a make-up snob ;-p) continues to use TE and still likes it and never has this problem with it going off (perhaps you have to be careful not to leave any product on the brush??)
I would probably not buy this product again as I'd be too scared that I'd get red, flaky reptile eyes again.
Since I gave up Touche Eclat - I've started using
Dior SkinFlash #3 - looks a little orange but blends in nicely and counteract the blue-ish tones you tend to get under your eyes. I much prefer it, more moisture, brighter, softer, smoother but perhaps less staying power, and coverage of very dark circles + the tube doesn't last as long but I feel like my skin is being treated better and the light reflective does give you a lift under your eyes. If you just want a little lift (rather than a cover up for extremely dark circles) I'd definetly go with the Dior Skinflash. I've re-purchased 4 times already :-D but will be trying Laura Mercier Secret Concealer soon just because I'm curious about the great things I've heard
This works for me. I put it on and late in the evening when most/all of the other thing's I've put on my face are melting off, the Touche Eclat is still going strong. I've even walked in a heavy drizzle and get in to find out that my undereyes still look remarkably fresh. I love, love, love this product. (My BF even uses it after a particularly short night.) My only beef is that I think the product that stays on the brush gets rancid really quickly and could smell quite foul. I usually wash it off at this point which wastes a lot of product.
What a waste of money! I'm in my 30's with a few lines around my eyes. I was told this illuminates the area and helps disguise them. It does completly the opposite - it sits in your lines highlighting them in pink colour and making you look older and packed with make up! Perhaps it does a better job covering up dark circles, I don't know I don't have dark circles, but overall is a terrible product and doesn't come cheap.

This is a wonderful concealer, highlighter...I use it midday to freshen up the luggage under my eyes and to minimize the nose to mouth lines...Wonderful consistency and doesnt break me out...
ever since touche eclat #1 came out (back then they only offered 1 color), touche eclat has been a constant presence in my stash. I never thought of even looking at #2 and #3, because I thought since I'm fair, why would I have a look at darker colors. stupid me! #2 is so much more natural and not darker at all. It's an ivory color instead of a rose one so much more flattering. and the brightening effect is much more visible. I'm so happy my store was out of #1 so I had to go for this one!!!

I'm sincerely hoping I don't fall victim to the under-eye breakout symptoms other reviewers have detailed, because this (okay, so it's agonizingly expensive) product makes me look phenomenal. continued >>
I have extremely dark saggy bags under my eyes and so have been trying to find something that disguises them for years. I used to use cheap drugstore brands, but after all the hype about touche eclat I had to buy it. I didn't really get the hype. After using it for 4 years, only now I have read reviews about the product do I realise it is a highlighter as opposed to a concealer. Pros: light texture, does highlight. Cons: doesn't last more than 4 hours, goes cakey after a while and after half of it has worn off throughout the day, I cannot reapply because it goes even more cakey when layering on top of it. I t doesn't hide my dark circles at all, maybe just lightens them slightly for a few hours. After reading reviews on here that touche eclat isn't the best, I have decided to try out some other concealers, but I would still probably use this concealer for highlighting instead of concealing.
EDIT: This shade is being discontinued - why I have no idea, instead they are keeping pink #1 and orange #3!
