I love how well this fits my skin tone, but with my combination skin it's transferring to anything that touches my face. Very embarrassing if you hug people at a wedding. I learned that I need to set it with a powder if i want to wear it at a special occasion but for every day i prefer to use something with additional skin benefits like tinted moisturiser or beaty balm.
It's a good drug-store foundation, but i wouldn't say "omg it's the best" because honestly it isn't. Even maybelline have better drugstore-foundations. And why not spend more money to make your work skin?
i have normal skin and honestly my skin got very dry, and for that to happend the makeup has to be really bad. I don't recomend this for people with dry skin or with acne problems. Perfect for oily skin.
This foundation a pretty good. I normally only use name brand foundations but a friend of mine who is a makeup artist uses this and recommended it. It blends so well on my skin and gives good coverage also. The only down side is that it's not really oil controlling and the bottle doesn't have a pump so I feel like I waste product. I have purchased this foundation twice now and will continue to use it as long as it doesn't make me breakout. I have yellow undertone and a foundation is sometimes hard to find so I'm sticking to this. I'm a W6 and use NC35/40 on Mac foundation (depending on the season)
I tried this foundation because it comes in the exact shade of my skin tone. It also goes on well and looks truly natural. However that's where the positives end for me. This foundation caused me to break out in the most horrible, huge, red, painful and deep cystic acne!! Yuck!! I had to go to the dermatologist to get that fixed and my skin went back to normal since I stopped using this foundation. Also, in the end I was going to throw this in the trash but it slipped out of my hand by accident and the whole glass bottle smashed into pieces and there was liquid foundation everywhere. Just the worse experience ever. Never touching any True Match products ever again!
Okay so after a month of trying this raved about product Iv'e come to the conclusion that this is a HORRIBLE foundation, at least for me that is. So i do have combination skin but i never really get THAT oily, well after a few hours of applying this foundation my face looked as if i poured oil all over it, it was so disgusting and to make matters even worse, the foundation cakes up all in my T zone looking streaky, patchy and just horrid. Another problem i had with this foundation was the fact that although they do have many different shades this foundation does not cater to lighter yellow undertones at all which i had hoped for. And my final issue with this product is the fact that is breaks me out like no other foundation ever has. The only good thing i do have to say about this product is it does look beautiful right when you apply it and feels natural it's just a shame it can't stay like that.
This is a very good blendable foundation but honestly it keeps breaking me out!!! I was talking to my sister about it and she broke out from it to. We are not sure why yet maybe it has something to do with the SPF in it
My sister bought this because her friend had it & her makeup always looked nice. This stuff was horrible!! The only good thing was the color. An hour after wearing it, it just started melting off my face. I even set it with powder!
I love this foundation. I use it with the lumi primer and I apply it with a beauty blender and it is amazing. I get medium coverage and it feels light on my skin. I have lots of sun damage and it does a decent job of covering it up. I wear NC30 in MAC and use W6. It oxides some but still looks nice on my skin and wears well even in the GA heat. I dont need powder to set. Very happy with this purchase...
This is a standard go-to drugstore foundation for me. The coverage is medium but very buildable. I wear N1 but sometimes add N3 for contouring with liquid and blending together. As far as drugstore foundation, the wear is great and lasts for much longer than Revlon's ColorStay or Naked. It has never broken me out but even N1 is a bit dark for me come Autumn and into Winter.
Firstly you should know that I have very pale, oily, and acne prone skin.
Even though I have cool toned skin I've tried W1, N1, C1:
-C1 is both too dark and too pink
-N1 is too dark
-W1 is pale enough but too way to warm for my skin
Its a good medium coverage foundation for most skin types. I used it off and on for years before recently buying Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation in Ivory (which is a perfect match for my skin!) I have oily skin that only gets oilier in the summer. During summer this foundation cakes up, oxidizes, separates, and just looks awful. During the other seasons its good. I have to re-powder 3 times on average and none of the lightest shades are right for me.
