Love this product!! I have been using this on and off for years. Smells great and leaves my hair silky smooth. My hair literally detangles by itself under the shower and my hair remains moisturized without weighing my hair down.

I bought the tub size of this product this summer, intending to use it as a weekly conditioning treatment. I now use the Redken AllSoft Heavy Cream for that purpose and this product I use once a week with any of a variety of shampoos. I only need to use a small amount to work through my medium-length hair, and it work beautifully. My hair has no great problems (not damaged, not too dry). I use a rinse on my hair every few months and I find that the lack of silicones in this product helps the color to stay more true. I always have silky shiny hair after using this balm but I do limit it to once a week because I think it would build up if used more. I will re-purchase but this tub is huge and will probably last me for a year or more.

My hair is Japanese Thermally Straightened and colored, so while it looks pretty and shines quite a lot, it still a penchant for dry ends that need lot's o' love. Biolage Conditioning Balm performs well as a hydrating conditioner, and smells great to boot.
Currently I have a the big jar size in this conditioner which is not the easiest thing to maneuver in the shower. Overall I like this product and especially recommend to those with chemically processes hair.

Wonderful conditioning balm!! Smells so good, feels rich, and makes my hair so soft! I have color-treated, over processed hair that needs a little tlc, and this delivers! Will buy again!

First and foremost, let me say that I love the tub packaging; I can get ALL the product out, and for the price, that's a definite plus. It's a great every day conditioner; super hydrating, leaves hair detangled and helps manage frizz during/post styling, and my hair definitely has a healthy shine to it. About once a week, I'll leave it on overnight and wrap plastic wrap around my head and use it as a deep conditioner, which works great too. Even saying all that, it's not a miracle product. Maybe I didn't feel it deserved five lippies because of my certain situation; I use a ton of heat styling, and even with protection, my hair is very very dry. So if you have normal or semi-dry hair, this just may be amazing. It's definitely great and keeps my hair vibrant, it's just not something that makes me jump up and cry for joy.

I used this along with the shampoo many years ago and wasn't impressed at all. I tried the balm again recently on the suggestion of my stylist and again, was not impressed at all. As a rinse out conditioner, it just didn't stand out a bit, the cheap drugstore conditioners I use for CO washing did much better!

As a last ditch effort before I threw it away, I tried a bit as a leave in on the ends of my hair. Finally, it feels like it does something!!

Would I buy it again, maybe, maybe not...probably not...I have many other leave ins that work just as well and much better at a better price point. I'm really not fond of the smell of it either.

Edited 12-20-09 - This just does not perform well at all in the dry winter months. continued >>

My hair is curly and quite dry, so I was looking for a conditioner that was moisturizing and free of silicones and protein. The Conditioning Balm fits the bill. It is very thick and moisturizes my dry hair. It helps keep my curls light and bouncy. Recommend.

This stuff has transformed my hair. I work as a diving instructor in a hot climate and am in and out of the pool/ocean all day. The sun and water has destroyed my hair - I have long, fine hair and lately it's been like straw.. looking really bad condition, dry and frizzy. I naturally have wavy hair but it's been looking totally lifeless.

After just one use I could see a huge difference. My hair looks healthy, my curls look perfect, really bouncy. My hair feels lovely and soft but not flyaway. The first time I used it my housemate asked me what I'd done to my hair because it looked so awesome. It's not the cheapest but worth every penny and I find a little goes a long way, unlike a lot of cheap conditioners which I have to slather on.

I can't recommend this product enough - this sounds like an ad but I'm blown away by how much it's changed my hair!

My hair was in desperate need for some serious hydration. I'm trying to grow out a very bad bob cut and bad dye job.
So I colored my hair a dark brown with Revlon's Colorsilk which I really liked but none the less the previous color/bleach really damaged my hair.
A gal pal suggested this to use along with the hydrating shampoo and the results were amazing! As I rinsed my hair already it felt so soft and hydrated.

The scent is nice and lingers but not in an offensive way. My hair feels a lot softer and my curls are forming nicely without too much product. I know the hydration of the conditioning balm really made a difference.

I've been really good about not getting impulsive and getting my hair chopped and dyed which is what got me in trouble in the first place. With the shampoo to compliment the CB I think I will be able to keep my hands of my hair.

BUT I must warn that this is a true deep conditioner-there are times when my hair is a little too soft and it doesn't hold up the messy bun look I like unless I use tons of bobby pins. With this you will definitely get that silky super soft feel.
