I purchased this product in Classic Ivory, though I would normally buy Light Beige. The Light Beige can looked so dark, I was afraid that it would look unnatural. Classic Ivory looked so natural on me, I was very happy with the color. The can is much smaller than I thought it would be and for the price, I was a little disappointed.

Aside from the color, I initially didn't like this product. I felt it didn't go on as smoothly as I wanted and felt it didn't give me the coverage I was looking for. I felt like it went on oily/greasy and it felt heavy. However, after it dried it felt MUCH lighter and after applying some loose powder I liked the whole look of it a lot more. I wore it to work that day and got SO many compliments on my skin and how flawless and dewy it looked. Several of my patients told me how pretty and young I looked and when I wore it out the next night (with my boyfriend) I was told by at least three men that I was such a "natural beauty!"

I should mention that I did need to apply the Dream Matte Mousse I had previously been using (in Light Beige!) underneath my eyes to hide the dark circles, as the Air Foam was not thick enough to hide them. But other than that, I'm quite happy with this purchase!

EDIT: The easiest and best way I've found to apply this product is by squirting a small amount on the back of your hand and applying with a synthetic brislte foundation brush. You're much less wasteful if you start off small and then add more to the back of your hand as you need it, and the second you touch the foam with your fingers it dissolves so it is best to use a brush. After picking up some of the foam on my brush I start in the center of my cheek or forehead and sweep my brush outward toward my hairline or jawline in all directions. My brush is tapered, so I tend to go in the direction of the bristles and sweep rather than using circular motions, as you should do if your brush is round. After sweeping outward, to avoid streaking from the brush and to blend it better, I sweep inward. After I've finished applying I usually touch my face to see where I have the most product and if I find any spots where I feel there is too much product then I take my brush and sweep it outward, down, inward, and up to blend that part out better and avoid caking or heaviness. Then I use loose powder to set it.

Love the concept, but not the product. It left my face feeling sticky and smelling like sunscreen. Yes, it does have 'SPF 16 sunscreen' written on the bottle but I did not expect to smell like I was on my way to the beach.
Returning it and going back to Maybelline Dream Mousse Matte.

Been using this off and on for 4 months. I purchased it from Wal-Mart for $8.70, which is about as cheap as foundations get.
I got the shade Creamy Natural, and I'm a neutral skin tone- NC20/NW25. Creamy Natural was a bit too orange for me. It is definitely light coverage, only somewhat buildable. I have tried a variety of methods to apply- a flat foundation brush, stipling brush, sponge, and a sponge moistened with MAC Fix. Personally, a sponge works best. Be careful though! The foundation has shot all over the place many times, for no reason (nozzle is clean, not clogged, or occluded in any way. I found it lasts about 6 hours for me, with primer underneath and a touch of powder on top to set.

Has spf 15, so with the light/sheer coverage this may just be a budget friendly option for warmer weather.

Very lightweight and feels nothing on skin. Color selection is very few and the packaging could use some improvement. When I dispense the product on the back of my hand, some of it sprayed everywhere in my bathroom! Otherwise, I would definitely repurchase as I love how very light and natural the coverage is.

What surprised me is the amount of negative and bad reviews for this product. I got the maybelline dream nude airfoam in the color 005 light beige. My complexion is pretty pale, probaply around a MAC NC/NW 15 (I am not sure because I never used a MAC foundation, however almost in all cases the lightest foundation shade is too dark for my skintone). Before I used it for the first time, I shook the can and pressend the top lightly and out came a ball of foam wich was quit orange. I thought the foundation would have a more natural color. I still went ahead and tried it on my face. I started of with a walnut sized foam ball on my hand, dabbed my stippling brush in it and applied it to my face.

I have been using the oil cleansing method for about a week now and it has evened out my skintone more and balanced out the dryness and oilyness I had. However because it was that time of the month I had a few breakouts on one side of my chin. I covered the redness of the breakout with a green concealer before I used the foundation. After applying the foundation, my face seemed pretty nice and even. It is not full coverage, I would say between light and medium coverage. The foundation sits really nice on the skin and is barely noticible. I like the satin/dewy finish it gives. The color didn''t turn out to orange on my face to my relieve. It adapted really nicely to my own skintone, however it was stil just a hint to dark (noting that a bit of bronzer down the neck couldn't fix to match my face and neck).
Throughout the day the foundation stayed on really nice. My nose did get a bit oily, but the foundation on my nose didn't separate or move at all, it just had more shine to it.

All in all I like this foundation a lot as a lightweigth foundation with a light to medium coverage for in the summer/spring time. In the can you get 50 ml wich is more than the normal amount of 30 ml you get. I only have to use a walnut sized ball of foam for my entire face. So I think one can will last a pretty long time. Also if the color of the foundation looks too orange don't get scared, because there is a big chance it will adapt nicely to your own skintone.

Honestly I don't know why this is getting such negative reviews. If you are looking for a sheer, light weight foundation, this is it. It goes on smooth, blends easy, and looks completely natural. If you are wanting something with med - full coverage this is not for you. This is for someone who does not need lots of coverage but just wants a glow to their skin. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is I think it is a little pricey for a drug store foundation. I believe it is usually 12.99, I got it on sale for 8.99 which is what I think it is really worth. Other then the high drug store price this is a great foundation. I will definitely buy it again.

I have to admit that I wanted to hate this product so badly at first, but it's my favorite foundation at the moment. I shook the can several times like the can said to the first time I used this. It shot out some bright white foam. I'm talking WHITE. After several more shakes some more white foam came out, but this time it was streaked with orange. I bought this in the lightest shade, porcelain ivory. I was getting disgusted really fast and figured I would be throwing this away. I ended up shaking the can for what seemed like ten minutes straight until a very peach foam came out. There was nothing porcelain or ivory about this shade, but I figured I might as well try it. Believe it or not, it looked much different on my face. It didn't look orange at all. It might be a tad darker than my actual skintone, but I don't think it looks strange. It just looks like I used a light bronzer. The best part about this product is that it makes my dull, dry skin look AMAZING. It makes my skin look flawless, but you really can't tell that I'm wearing makeup. Even my husband commented how great my skin looked and asked if I was wearing "special makeup." :) I do admit it stays kind of sticky like some have mentioned, but it's not gross at all. I actually quite like it. It makes my skin look dewey and fresh. I actually find that it wears better without primer underneath. It lasts all day without my normal primer (l'oreal studio secrets), but it starts to look a little greasy/worn off by the end of the day when I do wear it. If you bought this product and hate it, I definitely recommend you don't give up on it right away. Keep shaking it and apply it in very small increments and keep rubbing it in with little circular motions. This was a steal at 7.99. I'm thinking about stocking up in case this disappears. I'm giving this a 4 only because I feel the colors are a little misleading, but this is still an excellent product, especially for the price.

I recently purchased this in Caramel color... it's easy to use.. I like how it comes out, and i like when i put it on my face. I was so hesitated to purchase this, but it was on sale at walmart for $9.96, and decided to test it. It doesn't have full coverage, but i wasn't looking for a full coverage look. It does surprise me, and covered most of my blemishes, and minor scars from pimples. over all it gives me a natural glow, and i like it so far.

I had high hopes for this product but the foundation didn't not meet my expectations. First the colors. I have fairly pale light skin and I had purchased the second to lightest shade in 'classic ivory'. I honestly could have gone lighter than the lightest shade. These foundations run SO ORANGE!! The cans they come in are very deceiving to the actual color of the foundation. I find when I squirt out a bit on to my hand it starts to oxidize(turn orange). I find though that it doesn't turn any more orange then when I apply it. Also his foundation provides VERY LITTLE coverage. I find that this best applies when patted with my dampened beauty blender to receive maximum coverage. I do use this though on areas of my face such as my cheekbones, jawline, nose bridge and forehead to give a dewy tan to my skin. I would recommend this to people with tan skin that just need a bit of evening to their face.
