One of the first few foundations I've used. I'm nc35-40 in mac and I have the shade 210. 210 is a bit lighter than my but has a definite yellow undertone. This foundation has light to medium coverage, good for people with little to no blemishes on their face. It may suit dry skin types better as it has a dewy finish and remains that way after drying/setting. You have to be careful with the nozzle and cap of the founation otherwise it'll smear everywhere. I don't love it but I don't hate it. 3.5
I bought this foundation because I, being a broke teenager, needed foundation that was affordable and I could take to school. I paid around $6 for this foundation. Well, you really got what you paid for with this foundation. It was in glass bottle with no pump, I might add, and the quality was not so great. It felt greasy on my skin, and keep in mind I have DRY skin and it made me oily. The coverage was maybe a little more than a BB cream (minimum/light) and it really melted off your face throughout the day, even with powder. It makes your hands feel greasy if you apply with fingers and it's hard to pour just a little out without the entire contents spilling out with it. Not worth it, even for the low price.
For $5.94 this foundation beats all my more expensive ones...amazing! If you also have normal acne-free skin this could very well work just as great for you. It blends like butter with my foundation brush and with my fingers too. The color match is ON POINT. Most of all, this stuff got my mother to actually compliment me for the first time in a long time on how beautiful and glowy my skin looks! Lol MayB it's Maybelline
I am not sure really how to feel about this product... It gives pretty light coverage and the shade range is amazing. But the formula I can't seem to being myself to like. It definitely does not last all day so you need to set it with a setting powder. It has a pretty strong smell to it but I don't notice it throughout the day. I wouldn't repurchase this just because I think there are better options out there.
Ok Maybelline you really messed up with this foundation. From all the adds I thought this was for a younger lady ( teenager-20's). From all the bad reviews you can tell it shouldn't have been. This foundation should be marketed for those of us with dry skin, that need some glow, like myself. If you have oily to combo skin you may not like this unless you use a primer. For my dry- normal skin this works great! It has light-med coverage. The only problem I have is right now during summer I have to powder mid day and it cakes up a bit. I don't know if it's the powder or not. But during the winter when that's not a problem I plan on using this more. Oh and this has a strong floral scent (like Chanel foundations), if I use a brush the smell lingers, but if I use a beauty blender I can't smell a thing.
This was my first foundation and I went through two bottles before I finally realised that it wasn't right for me. Made me skin look ridiculously dewy! Also, it transferred so easily even with powder on top which was so annoying. I also didn't like the fact that it didn't come with a pump and the fact that it was a little TOO runny. It didn't make me break out though and it's a really good foundation at a really good price. Would definitely recommend for people with normal to dry skin (somehow it's really hydrating as well) the coverage isn't too great but hey, you get what you pay for.
I love the fact that the foundation has a pump, as ive mad a habit of only buying foundations with pumps now. At first i didnt love this foundation, but i was okay not ive grown to love it. It has quite long lasting power but doesnt work well if you will be touching your face a lot, say when your bored at school. I got the colour 130 Buff Beige. I would repurchase this product definately.
I have used this product for weeks trying to see if I truly enjoyed it. However it doesn't suit my skin type, (oily, and dry). I am constantly looking for great new products, however this just wasn't for me. I have acne scars and it's too light of a coverage for me. I find that after 4 hours my skin is very oily and it's easily rubbed off. I won't buy this in the future.
It is a really good foundation, best high-street foundation I've ever tried. Its a little to pricey and i have very strong yellow undertones and the foundations tends to be more on the pinky tone. For reference i am NC30 and shade 130 in this foundation
I bought this make-up because of the abundant amount of shades they had. I found my perfect shade which is very difficult for me to do but I wasn't satisfied with the actual make-up. It is the most oily make-up that I have ever bought. Even with powder over it, it still made me look like a grease pot. Plus all I had to do is lightly put my finger on my cheek and all the make-up came off on my finger. I'm hoping for a different result with the concealer because their concealer is the only one that has my shade.
