I resisted buying this for a year. I kept telling myself I had enough neutrals and that I didn't need this palette. I finally gave in and bought it, but I wish I would have listened to my gut. I am conflicted about reviewing UD naked b/c the colors are beautiful and smooth, but not pigmented enough for my liking. Honestly, if I didn't already own so many eyeshadows, I would have adored this palette. I had to return it because I felt like I was forcing myself to use it and I was neglecting all the neutrals in my stash that I love. Here's my two cents: If you don't have an extensive e/s collection or not enough golds/neutrals go buy this palette! But, if you have enough e/s you love, I think this ud palette money could be invested elsewhere (like blush!).

Edit: dropping down to 4.5 stars. I wish there was a darker matte color for the crease. Buck works for the crease but I have to pack it on.
Ok...I'm an eyeshadow whore...I'm Asian with warm/yellow undertones, NC30. I was always intrigued by this palette but never enough to buy it. I finally caved in and bought it. I was debating between this palette and the Naked 2 but the MUA for UD said the Naked palette is better suited for warm skinned ladies.
VERDICT: I LOVE IT! I've worn it everyday for a week and each day I've created a different look. I don't understand how some people say all the colors blend together...there are light, medium and dark colors. All the colors are smooth and highly pigmented. A little goes a long way. I did notice that tapping the eyeshadow on my eyes doesn't depost the color well, but if I brush the color on, it goes on very rich and pigmented. This is different from my other eeyshadow, (mainly MAC) where tapping the color on gives more pigmen.
The only con is there is fall out when I'm tapping my brush in the palette itself, but I haven't had issues of fallout on my face like other people, but I always tap my brush to remove the excess before applying.
Love it love it love it!! I even went out and got the second Naked Palette. Even though it's on the pricey side ( $50 each) its so worth it.Beautiful colors that look amazing with my skin tone and I love that it came with the primer. I'm looking forward to what Urban Decay comes out with next!

LOVE THIS PALLETE I use it everyday for those of you who can't seem to get a hang of it the same thing happened to me but you get the hang of it it is great for natural looks and dramatic the only thing is that gunmetal I would mix it with virgin because it is a bit dark but definitely worth the money also use the primer
I like, but do not love this product. I really wanted to fall in love with the palette, and I'm sorry to be in the minority of such a well-loved palette. I have pretty fair skin with freckles so maybe that is why I had a different experience. These colors would, perhaps, look much more neutral on those with tanner skin, or at least with less fair skin than me.
First I just wanted to say that I expected more neutral shades. The only everyday shades for me are Buck and Naked- I put Naked all over the lid and apply Buck to the crease and sometimes the outer vee. The rest of the colors are not exactly neutral- hustle, creep, and gunmetal are not shades I would ever wear casually because they are too dark. Virgin is a good highlight color, too light for the actual lid though. It's also a tad too shimmery to use as a highlight in my opinion. Shades like Half-Baked and Sidecar are way too goldy to look natural-unless you only use a teeny, tiny bit, gold usually doesn't look nude, at least not on my eyes.
That brings me to the shimmer- a little shimmer is okay- for example, Gunmetal, Creep, and Hustle all have a wearable amount of shimmer to them, but on me shades like Sidecar, Smog, Half-Baked, Sin, Darkhorse, and Virgin all are way too shimmery to wear on a day-to-day basis. The shimmer in this palette is possibly what's making these shades less neutral and more night looks.
I like this palette enough to not return it, especially since there are so many looks you could do with the shades. However, I expected this palette to be mostly neutral, and a lot of the shades ended up being too shimmery or dark for a neutral look. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this palette for beginners- if you are very experienced with makeup, don't have fair skin like me, and can pull off less neutral shades during the day, then you should definitely give it a try.

This is one of my favorite makeup purchases ever! (And lordy days I have made alot of them!)
I use this palette at least three times a week. It's great for creating looks to wear to work or if your just going to be running Wal*Mart and to get gas (yes, I'm one of those girls). I use this palette to create work appropriate but still interesting and cool. I think I'm cool. My mom says I am....
The thing about this is yes, you can find these colors in any number of palettes but for the quality of Urban Decay and to have all the colors I would use over and over again anyway all together it wonderful. I love not having to hunt through everything to find the two or three shadows I want.
I use Virgin, Sin, and Toasted the most. All the colors are very good....though the black is more of a dark gray.
I paid about $50 for this and it was well worth it. I've had to for almost 18 months and I've yet to hit pan on any of the shadows yet. I highly recommend this palette.

Love, love, loooooove this palette. I bought it because of all the hype around it. At first, I was hesitant because of the 60$ price tag. But then, I bought it because of all the beautiful and pigmented shadows. I could use this everyday because you can create any kinds of looks from natural to smokey. The only downside is the suede-y packaging which picks up a lot of dirt. This is an essential to any makeup fanatic.
Okay so I'm a little late to jump on the Naked band wagon (wow that sounds bad) but I have to say that I am OBSESSED. It's such a good deal and the quality is amazing. The shades are so pretty, the only one I'm not a huge fan of is Sidecar because there's obvious glitter. Other than that this palette is great for everyday use or for playing up your eyes at night. That's what so great about this palette- you can create so many looks ranging from neutral to smokey and vampy. when prepped with UDPP, these shadows last all day long. With the primer, these shadows lasted for 8 hours throughout prom with sweating and dancing. They didn't budge or fade- amazing! I was an eyeshadow virgin before this palette and now I see what all the buzz is about. My eyes have never looked better!
I love how you can make so many different looks with this and the pigmentation is great. The shades are beautiful and shimmery. It does fade though throughout the day, some shades more than others, even when I use the Primer Potion that came with it. That's rather disappointing since it costed so much.
I love it! The palette is very good for a neutral and natural make up, though you can also get a more dramatic look using it. Sometimes I even use some colors for my eyebrows.
The primer in the box is something to die for!
The only thing that makes me nervous is touching every time the material of the box - which is kinda like VELVET, not the most pleasant one!
Overall, I like the product very much.
