Warning!! While this product may grow out lovely eyelashes, there are prices to pay if anything goes wrong.
It was in February that my eyelashes were starting to grow, but then one night I got this HUGE headache, I literally took 4 tylenols and went back to sleep. Well I woke up in sweat and felt like crap, this was all just the start to one of the worst things that i've had besides a c section!
I felt dizzy throughout the day, was constantly hot and cold, next thing you know, i've got "shocks" going all around my brain that radiated from my temples to my ears. The headache got worse and pulsated throughout the day. I have a little almost 2 year old son that I stay home with and all I did was make sure he was fed and clean. I couldn't eat or focus on anything. ..not to mention the straight up nausea i had.
I researched and everything led to a migraine. I went to the ER in tears because the pain was so bad, of course the ER on military bases are like whatever, so they gave me a shot in one of my buttcheeks. ..they left me alone in the room and i was have an anxiety attack. it felt like the pain would never go away and i was always going to have this headache.
Even after the painkiller, there was still some headache left there. Everything fully went away in 4 days. After doing more research, someone had posted that they had a headache from Careprost, and described what I had. I was sure that it was Careprost because that was the only different thing I had been doing.

I am never going to use this again and while it does work, I just caution you all to be as careful with this as you can. I would rather wear fake eyelashes than risk my mental and physical health.
***NOTE I HAVE NOT USED THIS PRODUCT.
I've noticed some people saying they've been scammed through the website. Here's a bit of advice, whenever I do online shopping I either buy a GIFT CARD or use a greendot card! you can find both of these at a cvs/walgreens/rite aid near you! That way the company doesnt have any direct access to your money and you wouldnt feel the blow of someone adding fraud charges to your card!
with that being said, I'm debating between trying careprost and just going with latisse...I'm leaning toward latisse because of all the result pictures etc..but careprost is soooo much cheaper!
I have re-purchased this product twice buying 2 bottles the first time and 3 the second. This is a bit of a HG for me even though it's not a perfect product by any means. I understand from the reviews and other research that everyone has a slightly different response so keep that in mind.
I ordered this from the Indian site alldaychemist dot com and the product is around $10 but the postage is $25 (approx.) so that's why I buy more than one at a time.
Initially I applied one drop to each upper lash line each day using an eyeliner brush (it comes with a brush but it absorbs too much product so I now use one I got from eBay - nothing spesh but still better). I had results within 2 - 3 weeks, a few freakishly long lashes but after about 6 weeks they evened out, I dropped the application back to about twice a week which is where I'm at now for maintenance.
Here are the side effects I experience when I apply this stuff.
1. blood shot eyes (if applied before bed however not as noticeable) - I use clear eyes drops to reduce it.
2. "awareness" of my eyes - I don't know how else to describe it, it's almost like dry eyes or tired eyes but not really.
3. possibly headaches - I get them all time anyway though so I'm not sure if its related directly or not, but it did seem to be related.
I know that sounds bad but for me the results are worth it and on a scale of 1 - 10 none of the above side effects ever went over 5 or effected day to day tasks. Once you're at maintenance it seems to be a non-issue. I don’t have “Mr. Snuffleupagus” lashes and if I did I would just trim them.
I only use one coat of mascara and my lashes are done. I used to fuss over the perfect application every day so it’s a real time saver for me. AND not least of all I’ve had a number of compliments.
This is the best deal around....we usually buy as a coop...with a few people. The product works exactly like Latisse...at a fraction of the cost. Only downside: if you stop using it, your lashes will return to short! Also be cautious about getting it into your eye if you have light eyes...it can turn them dark. Other than those precautions...two thumbs up!
I started using Careprost in August 2010. I ordered from alldaychemist, and fortunately, I haven't had any credit card issues that other people have experienced. not sure if I charged that to my now-closed account or if I am just lucky (was using two accounts at one time so not sure).
Anyway, here are my thoughts on this. Price is good $11 for bottle with brush, though shipping is high. I bought three bottles of this at once. I did have a lot of redness in the beginning, though, I can say I started right during the fall allergy season so that most likely contributed. I didn't have any purple lines and still don't (no darkening).
This worked on me for length but not new growth. I stopped using it on my eyebrows for this reason. I found that the hair in my brows were really long but still sparse.
Overall, I definitely can recommend it for length. I'm down to applying only 3 or so days a week. When my bottles are used up, I do think I will probably repurchase.

Every bit as good as Latisse! And a steal for about $11 a bottle from alldaychemist.com. Each bottle lasts about a month. $20.00 shipping so I stock up. Amazing results! Definitely better than the super expensive "lash treatments" that are non prescription.
Has pigmented my eyelids some- a complication with Latisse and it's generics.

I was considering going the 150.00 neulash route, but figured I'd try this to see if it worked. Seems good to me! No pix, sorry. I buy from inhousepharmacy.com. Price is right, plus no CC fraud issues. I did have to pick it up at the post office, but that's no problem :) No redness or itching for me so far. Recommend.
Ok so i have been using semi extensions and false lashes for months without a rest and my lashes are now stubby and broken.
I have done some research on latisse and careprost and so ordered some from buy-pharma which came quickly to the UK from India (bout a week).
I am going to remove the extensions and try this tomorrow, will take photos for the before tomorrow and post up the results and effects.
YES! this product really does produce results, but not overnight and not without a bit of discomfort for some.
as you may have already read many reviews, i'm just going to go over some pointers and some facts about this product.
it usually takes around 2-3 months before you see really nice results, some people may take longer or shorter time. this all has to do with your own body and how it works. some people naturally grow and shed eyelashes faster than others, just like some people are able to grow amazing nails and some have to get some help from the manicurist. i will say that you can do yourself a huge favor by taking extra vitamin D and E while you're using this...they naturally help with skin/hair/nail growth. the minimum recommended intake or vitamin D for most women is now 2000iu/day. if you live farther north, have light skin or have certain conditions like MS, you may want to take more, but consult your dr. for certain people it also helps to divide that into 2 doses so your body can manage it better. i have to take 5000iu/day and absolutely divide it...my nails are long, my hair is down to my waist...and my eyelashes grow much nicer than when i was taking less. if you've ever taken prenatal vitamins you'll know what i'm talking about.
you want to be VERY careful about hygiene when using this product. you can find disposable eyeliner brushes in bulk from several places, i got mine on ebay. using the kind with taklon bristles is best, rather than the ones that feel more like a child's paintbrush which are the type that come with latisse...they're low quality and they waste a HUGE amount of product! using those style your bottle will last a month, use the very fine line taklon kind and it can last 2...using anything absorbent like the pointed type qtips will also eat your product and waste it! if you are going to use an eyeliner brush repeatedly, you need to clean it everyday. you can either use an antibacterial soap or hand sanitizer that contains benzalkonium chloride [BAK])...in a pinch you could use alcohol, but it's much harsher on the bristles. make sure to rinse your brush well after sanitizing it.i strongly suggest that you also do this with the cap of the bottle if that's what you use to put your drop in and dip your brush in...also, do not touch the tip of the bottle with anything at any time, that can contaminate the whole bottle leaving it to get more and more contaminated as time goes on until it's empty.hygiene is important when it comes to your body, but most especially your eyes, they are delicate and you do NOT want to mess them up after putting all this work into them! :) so, keep everything clean as possible..but really, this is something you should be doing with all your brushes and wands. you'd be surprised how much of a difference cleaning your brushes helps clear up your face if you have problems with acne...just like changing your pillowcase often and keeping your hands off your face. the less contact with anything dirty the less dirt on you face to cause acne! such an easy help! (keeping your phone(s) clean helps so much too if you use them a lot!! as a teen i would get acne near my mouth/along my chin on the right side and couldn't understand it...until i took a good look at my phone..it was DIRTY...oil, dirt and makeup builds up and gets mushed back into your face...no good! grab a hand or face wipe and you're all set!).
you only need to apply 1 drop per eyelid..using more will NOT make your lashes grow faster or better, but will more likely lead to more irritation or potential hair growth outside your lash line. if your eyes water or drip while or after you apply, be sure to blot, it can enhance hair growth anywhere and i doubt you want eyelashes trailing down your cheek! :) try to get as clost to the lash line as you can.
you may notice redness or scaling like with very dry skin around your lash line for a time, this usually goes away as your skin gets used to it.
at some point, your lashes can start getting over crowded and start looking a bit strange...maybe curling along the corner of your eyelid or becoming too long and getting a "snuffleupagus" look...at this point you want to stop using it every day and go to 1-3 times per week, depending on how fast/slow you gain/lose lashes. some people maintain at 1/week, others may need to use it 3/week to keep their lashes at the level they want them. remember, when you stop using the product you lashes will return to their previous state.
some people may experience burning, itching or stinging of the eye. this also often goes away once you get to the maintenance stage. try as hard as you can not to rub your eyes, you will only make it worse...and remember, in general don't touch your eyes! it's VERY easy to spread an infection that way...plus it's like scratching a hive, it only inflames it more.
the only time that changes of color of the eye were when this product was used for it's original purpose of in the eye eyedrops for people with cataracts. this was rare and usually only seen on people with hazel eyes...the occasionally got a bit more brown around the iris. again, this was when used as an eye drop and was fairly rare.
as for where you purchase...you always need to use caution. you are taking a risk when you give your CC number to ANY site. I suggest using a prepaid card to avoid any chance of a problem, its always safe..they can't steal anything that's not there.
...i hope this has help clear up some of the major questions about usage, cautions, etc. if you follow the directions, use good hygiene, and good judgement this is a very safe and effective drug. also, always keep in mind that YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY! everyone is different and everyone reacts differently, the same with any product of any kind.
i wish you all lovely lashes and happy lives!
