Really like this stuff. I have huge pores and its one of my biggest skin care concerns. I'm always on the lookout for something to help with my pores. I've tried quiet a few primers in the past year or so. I got a sample of this from Sephora along with a few other primer samples including Benefits Porefessional. I didn't think I would like this over the Dr. Brandt Pore No More Refiner but I was wrong. This primer does a better job at hiding my pores and giving a smooth finish. The pore no more seem to roll-up into crumbs. I've tried a lot of primers for my pores and feel that this one is the right one to settle for. Would recommend giving this a try.
So far, this is my favorite primer. I love the consistency and the results. I can used this primer with any foundation and make it look good...cream, liquid, or powder. This is important to me because I like to switch between all three. Great product. No cons to this one.
My usual face primer is the Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel. (Don't laugh until you read the reviews on it! It's great!). I got a sample of Primed & Poreless (with SPF 20 and Bronze color) from Sephora a few months ago and decided to give it a try today. The bronze color looked dark when I squeezed it out of the tube, but it blended in perfectly with my tan skin. It made my pores visibly smaller, but didn't completely make them disappear. I put on my makeup as I normally would. A few hours later, my skin was looking dewy and flawless! I will repurchase this when I run out. But since it is a bit pricey, I will still use Monistat for "normal" days and Too Faced for when I want to look extra special.
I'm surprised this has so many good reviews - I didn't like it. I got a sample as my 100 point perk at Sephora, and I'm glad I didn't pay for it. It does do an exceptional job of instantly shrinking your pores, so if you want it for that, it's great. However, I tried it underneath my make-up and went to work and my make-up was basically completely gone by the end of the day. My drugstore Covergirl with Olay Regenerist primer works better to keep my make-up on all day.
I've put down MUFE's, Smashbox, Benefit, Cover fx, Givenchy, Murad.... I love this stuff. My favorite primer so far.
I'm always looking for an oil mattify primer, with pore filling... and of course, all the other good stuff like long wearing foundation, brightening, smoothing.. I love it because it gives everything in this. Great packaging, love the pink packaging, price point & everything about this. I will continue to use this until I find one that's better, if there is.
Just got a sample of this from sephora so far I'm impressed. Definitely makes my pores look smaller and my face look smooth. I haven't used it on my entire face yet just hoping it won't end up breaking me out.
LOVE this product! It minimized the pores in my t-zone especially the ones on my nose. Goes on smooth, a little goes a long way. Makes a smooth pore-less canvas for your foundation to go on smoothly. It helps your foundation adhere all day and even into the night.
WOW. Just WOW.
I've been a faithful Smashbox user for years. I never thought I'd find anything that was as good, much less BETTER.
This is like a combo of the Smashbox, and Dr Brandt's Pore Minimizer. I used to mix the two together, but this product has it all in one for only $30. And I think it's got an even silker texture than Smashbox.
Before buying this I checked out Benefit and UD pore minimizing primers, and neither can hold a candle to this. Benefit doesn't have the good satiny feel, and the UD primer is just unexceptional.
My makeup goes on flawlessly, and it really does minimize the appearance of my pores. Plus, a little goes a loooong way.
At first, I thought this product was so great. It made my skin feel so soft. I have very dark circles under my eyes and fair skin so I used it under my eyes so that my concealer wouldn't flake up. I realized it started to seriously irritate the skin under my eyes with small red bumps and a stinging feeling. I was so excited at first too! Oh well
I have yet to dive into the realm of face primers, so I've been taking advantage of any free or 100 point samples of primers I can get from Sephora. I just got this the other day and while I haven't yet used it as an overall primer, I tested it for its pore covering abilities. My pores aren't very noticeable but my boyfriend's are MASSIVE. He was a good sport and let me test some of this on the side of his nose. They virtually disappeared! We were impressed. So if you have visible pores, give this a try! It seems worthwhile just for how effective it is for hiding pores. Will review it as a primer once I've tested it and others out for comparison; but right now, I am incredibly impressed.
