I love gel eyeliner. I find pencil eyeliner is too hard and dry to apply, and liquid is messy and you have to be precise when you apply it. I like how this looks and I also like it for doing winged eyeliner. It wasn't hard for me to learn how to use eyeliner from a pot for the first time. When you apply it it lasts to the end of the day, and the amount you buy also lasts you a long time. My biggest problem with it is that since the amount does last a long time, it dries out after a while, and the eyeliner in the pot will look clumpy and start being harder to apply. I would be happy if they fixed the formula to not dry out, or just sold this in smaller pots so it's less likely to dry. If you're going to buy it I would probably recommend not leaving the cap off. Like if you're doing your eyeliner, take some from the pot and then put the lid back on instead of just leaving it open, so it's not exposed to air.
Also, I find I have to wait a few minutes for this to dry after I put it on before I curl my eyelashes because if I get the eyelash curler close to my eyeliner before it's dry it could smudge it.

I am a blue eyed NW10 (NW20 when tanning from a bottle).

I purchased this color in Brown. I love the packaging, the glass pot with the screw on top. Just feels weighty and substantial in my hands. I have used this eye liner almost every day for about 6 months and there is still 2/3 left in the pot. It also lasts a long time, with or without primer.

However, I find I prefer a cooler-toned brown, which I found in Essence's London Baby gel liner.

Love how I can make a very fine line, but it smudges in a couple of hours.

It smudges basically straight away. But it's easy to apply! So it looks great when you leave the house, but a few hours later when you go to the bathroom, it's smudged to hell, all over the place.

I have this in brown and black. THEY ARE AWESOME.

I actually really love the brush that it comes with. It's stiff and pointy and I find that I can apply this eyeliner perfectly with it.

With the brown one I use it mostly for my lower lash line and... my eyebrows. Haha. I have dark hair, almost black and the brown colour of the eyeliner is perfect for filling in my brows. It doesn't smudge and stays on all day and sort of also acts to keep my brow hairs in place. Ah, it's just perfect! And yep, I use the brush it comes with - although it has blunted and softened up because of how I use it on my eyebrows.

I have another brown one for my lower lash line. After I apply the black on my top lashline and tightline I use the brown to balance out the top and it gives a perfect defined look without making my eyes look like they're rimmed in black.

After those steps I just coat my lashes with mascara and BOOM my everyday makeup look :) depending on the day/night I like to thicken/thin out the black eyeliner on top.

These gel liners are perfect. And so much cheaper than higher end brands. I will forever be repurchasing. :D

I really wanted to love this because it's so much cheaper than other gel liners, but every time I wear this it smudges in 3-6 hours depending on the weather. No matter if I line the lash line or my waterline this smudges.

I've had this liner for about 8-9 months and it hasn't dried out so that is good.

I say this is worth a try before trying pricier brands, but it just didn't work out for me.

I have really oily eyelids AND hooded eyes, so everything I put on them just smudges. Not so with this! Granted, towards the end of the day, there can be a very slight transfer onto the crease, but I am so so impressed with this. It lasts so long, I can put in on in the morning before I go to work, and if I want to go for a drink in the evening it'll still be there, just as black and with minimum or even no transfer onto the lid!
It doesn't flake either, and it hasn't dried on me yet even though I've had it for about a year.
I've recommended this to a friend of mine with asian eyes who previously had problems with eyeliners transferring under her eyes, and she loves it too. Definitely recommended!

This gel liner smudges all over my lids and under eye area. I use eyeshadow primer and still the liner smudges. I've used stilla and bobbi brown gel liners and those never smudged on me. This is def. not a dupe for those. It does its job though so I'm trying to wear it on a daily basis so I can hurry and use it up. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and it did not dry out at all.

I have this eyeliner in Blackest Black, and it does live up to the name! The brush it comes with is fabulous, does a great job at lining, and the consistency of the liner is very smooth. However, after a 7 hour day at school I come home and its smudged everywhere! *sigh* I guess it was too good to be true. My quest for a non-smudging eyeliner continues!
