In my lifetime of makeup, (probably almost 2 years now haha), I have bought this mascara twice. I would keep buying it but I want to explore other mascaras first. Well anyways, this mascara does do what it says it does. It enlarges your eyelashes x5 like it is advertised. It tends to flake though. At first, when you first buy it, the formula is perfect and liquid'y but it dries fast. People normally prefer it when it dries through time, but I don't. For $5, I suggest that you try it anyways.

I always come back to this mascara. It provides both length and volume, but what I love about it best is that it doesn't clump. The brush doesn't have excess mascara on it, which I attribute to the suction in the bottle. So I can easily get a nice, thin, clump free coat on. The best I can use it is to curl my lashes, apply one coat, curl again, apply a second coat, and then curl a third time. This is my signature sequence to get the perfect lashes!

I have tried so many mascaras but I keep coming back to this one!
The packaging isnt particulary girly or pretty, but the product makes up for this.

For such a good budget mascara, this performs really well. It provides both length and volume, with a large brush but not so large that it's uncontrolable!
Personally, I don't find this clumps, like many volumising mascaras do. Seems to last really well without flaking etc.

Would defenitley reccomend this mascara, especially if you're on a bit of a budget!

My absolute must have mascara in my makeup bag. It works well for me and I have never used any other mascara once I started using this one. It's long lasting and makes my lashes look amazing.

My lashes are at a normal length, however they're thin and stick straight (no, I don't have Asian lashes), so as you can imagine I have to curl the heck out of them. I wasn't impressed with this mascara. It's very wet (which I hate), therefore weighing down my lashes and not holding any curl. I didn't really notice any significant volume and it almost gave me that "5 eyelash" effect. The only good thing about this was that it didn't flake. You might be wondering why I gave it a 3 even though I don't like it. I feel like if you're one of those people that I hate who has naturally curled, thick lashes, it would probably work for you.

This is currently one of my top five favourite mascaras. This is an all purpose, quickly applied, satisfying product. It does what it is supposed to - it shows when you put it on, unlike certain others which require endless coats to show at all.

The consistency stays wet and thick in the tube for months, unlike many others which are even dried out when you buy them or very soon after opening them.

It goes on wet and adds volume to the lashes. Only two coats are needed. I use this when I don't have time to work on the lashes for the ultimate effect. It can also be layered with others. I wouldn't say it adds length but it does give visible volume.

I cannot give it the highest rating because there is no such perfect mascara in the world (I would be delighted to be proven wrong, though).

I did a lot of research about which drugstore-type mascara would be best, since I am now on a tighter budget, and I decided to try this one. The key is to use a small amount on the brush, and use thin coats. Pumping the wand is not necessary and will probably be way too m uch. It stays on all day, is very lengthening, and adds a lot of volume because the formula is rather thick. It can be a little bit stiff feeling, so if you're looking for softness and a natural look, this is not the one for you. It's not uncomfortable or irritating to my sensitive eyes. You will need some eye makeup remover to take it all off. This mascara is a suitable replacement for the more expensive mascaras, and in some ways it's even better.

I don't wear mascara very often, but when I do, this is the only I usually use. It thickens and volumizes my lashes without clumping or flaking. I really like this mascara!

The first drug store mascara I used and boy did I pick up the right one! I loved it to bits. My HG dirt cheap mascara for a while and the best Maybelline has to offer. Will definitely be getting it again soon enough. It does what it claims and perfectly too.
