i have a constant supply of this eyeliner. for someone who prefers to apply liquid eyeliner with a brush for control, consistency, and ease, i was pleasantly surprised by the flexible felt tip of the sephora eyeliner. very easy to apply, and yes, this eyeliner stays put. also very easy to fix. i am a big fan of the dark purple eyeliner, it looks like a soft black when put on. it also wipes off easily with very little resistance to my neutrogena makeup remover.
Reasonably priced, easy to apply, and gorgeous outcomes!
I have their liquid liner in silver shimmery grey (with a felt tip. it's an old color and discontinued from when I last stepped foot in a sephora store). I just brough a brown one for day wear like 2 months ago. The brown one BURNS on my eyelids! (Which is why I gave it 1 lippie.) I would not buy it again because of the burning! But the application is very easy and you can make a very very fine thin line. The silver one doesn't burn - perhaps they changed the formula? I do not have sensitive skin.
It is also not waterproof, which makes removing easy. Also, I find that without using my Urban Decay Primer Potion, it smudges badly (probably due to my easily greasy eyelids). One more thing I find that is annoying is that you have to wait a while for it to dry - I always end up with some on my eyelid because I have a monolid and if I open my eyes a tiny bit to see, the eyeliner will get on my lid. But it's easy enough to remove with a q-tip moistened with water.
I would definately buy this eyeliner again. I purchased the copper brown with the shimmer in it and it really does a good job at emphasizing my eyes without looking too tacky. Most other liquid eyeliners are difficult to put on, but this one works really well. I find that if the eyeliner is freshly put on, using a damp q-tip to correct small mistakes works well without smudging anything. It lasts very long and it's easy to remove.
much better than the guerlain, shiseido or chanel one. better price and most of all: it REALLY lasts and stays right where you applied it!
i have this in green. yes its long lasting once on the eye, and easy to apply for the most part....BUT it makes my eyes itch and burn, i apply it to the corners and its horrible. also its been only 2 or 3 weeks since i opened this product and i already notice that its drying out a bit. overall its a good product, i just wish it didnt make my eyeballs feel ON FIRE. o.0
I have Sephora's Long Lasting Metallic liquid liner in Dark Grey.
Product page here for ref:
It's a nice color--sort of a pewter or metallic-slate, and doesn't flake but that's about all I can say for it. It NEVER DRIES. I was accustomed to applying liner before shadow and ended up with metallic gray fingersmudges all over my shadow. Started doing the liner last to cope with that and still had problems. Also it has a hard felt tip applicator rather than a brush, which I find difficult to use and hard on delicate skin. Very disappointing, next time I won't cut corners and will spring for MAC or UD.
I love this product. It is dirt cheap and delivers a very black and glossy line. I prefer this to MAC's Blacktrack when doing a winged look. Last fairly well on non humid weather. Will not last through tears though. Leave it to Shu for a longer lasting glossy black line. Love tha packaging and the felt tip is not hard and does not drag the skin, but sturdy enough to line with precision.
I have this in brown and it works as well as the expensive stuff! Save your money and buy Sephora's basic makeup products
this stuff is awesome.. one of my favorite eyeliners. it comes out so smooth, and is a cinch to apply. it dries quickly, and lasts the whole day w/o clumping or smudging. the others complained about the price.. but i feel that the $10 was so worth it.
