LOVEEEE IT! You know when your lips are chapped and cracked and if you apply any lipstick on them it will look disgusting? Well I exfoliate my lips with this and I'm not even joking they are SMOOTH after! Like just beautiful! And then I add lip balm and lip stick on top and it looks so nice! It's a must have. I used up my first one and I ordered two more. It also smells and tastes good, and the packaging is really nice. It looks like something expensive, but it's only $3
HOW TO USE:
- Wet your lips a bit with your tongue, then start applying the lip exfoliator all over your lips. I'm actually quite rough in applying it so that I get all of the dead skin off.
- Take a wet towel or kleenex and just clean off the little exfoliating beads. DONE! It's so easy.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this lip exfoliator! No wonder it has 4.8 stars!
It tastes so good I have to stop myself from licking it off. It feels so good rubbing it into your lips, such a nice massage to the lips, and it leaves my lips feeling silky smooth at least one day after application! I applied it at night and the day after I was walking around and noticed the difference in my lips after my lipgloss came off. My lips still felt the same as when I had just exfoliated. So MIRACULOUS!
This is my first lip exfoliator and I can't believe I haven't started using it earlier. My lips feel amazing, like BABY LIPS!!!
This is one of my few can't live without products - I use it everyday at the moment because the harsh winter weather has left my lips all chapped and peeling, but this stops them in their tracks, allowing me to wear more bold lip colors. Go out and get it!
My lips are probably my best feature, so needless to say, I have bajillions of lip products. This one is probably my new favorite. I like wearing bold lipsticks, but when winter comes and lips get all dry and peely, bold lipsticks aren't exactly easy to pull off. This product, however, not only tastes lovely, but will get your lips smooth and lipstick ready. And if lipstick isn't your thing, then you'll have the prettiest bare lips ever!
My lips peel like crazy in the winter time and I have tried everything. After a few swipes of this product the dead skin was gone. It smells pleasant and tastes very sweet. This is my favorite product made by e.l.f.!
This is the best elf product that I've tried. I love to use this when my lips are feeling really dry and peeling, it helps right away! The smell is great, smells like coffee and it doesnt taste bad either. At first when you try it there is a layer of the moisturizing part that you need to get through before the rough beads appear but overall this is a great product for $3 and if you get it 50% off even better!
I kid you not... I have lips so dry, sandpaper would be a step up. Even in the summer, my lips are peeling all over the place and I couldn't find anything to take care of the problem. I'm on elf's website and come across the lip exfoliator and ordered it immediately, thanks to the reviews on here and on the site.
Let me tell you something, I did a couple of swipes with this bad boy and my lips are super smooth! It smells like coffee, moisturizes, and the little exfoliator beads are rough enough to get the dry skin, but not rough to the point where they are scratching you. It is the PERFECT product for dry, peeling lips and, honestly, if this works for me... it HAS to work for you. I mean, for three bucks, you can't go wrong.
TRY THIS... RIGHT NOW! GO AND DO IT!! HURRY!
If you can find this deff buy it! About 2 months ago I was searching and searching and couldn't find this baby anywhere and it was out of stock for weeks. I really wanted it and I finally found someone online to sell me an unused one for $7 but its really only $3. Its still worth the 7 tho. Lol. Only bit of advice I could think of would be I don't use it on wet lips like they recommend on the box. So yeah I just do it on dry lips to get a more aggressive exfoliation going. I use my homemade lip scrub when my lips are really bad because again this isnt all that aggressive so this is just my on the go one and it does that job well.
I can't say enough great things about this product. It's cheap, and it does a marvelous job. I do not typically have chapped or super dry lips, but they do tend to flake a bit, and I also have a bad habit of chewing on them. I have asked for recs for lip exfoliators before, and typically people seem to think they are a waste of money. Suggestions usually include use a washcloth, your toothbrush, mix your own honey/sugar/etc. scrub, and so on. I've tried all of those things, and I have even purchased a few lip exfoliating products (like the Paula's Choice one). This cheap $3 product (which doesn't look cheap in the packaging, which is nice) works better than all of the above, and the price can't be beat. It smells nice, tastes nice, and exfoliates well without hurting. I imagine that if you used it on your lips for TOO long at one time it might be too harsh, but that would simply be user error in my opinion. My lips feel a bit moisturized after using, too (I believe it contains shea), though I do top it off with a balm. At $3, it certainly doesn't hurt to at least try! Go buy it NOW!
I don't have enough good things to say about this! I've avoided wearing any kind of opaque lip colours (lip stick or creamy thingies that come in a jar or tube--what are those even called? Lip tars?) because either the colour migrates to the plentiful wrinkles in my lips or they really highlight the scaly dry skin. I don't have naturally dry lips, but I chew on them sometimes and they shed quite a bit. This product really works to remove the excess skin without being too harsh. I tried mixing honey and sugar for a lip scrub and using a towel as an exfoliator, but neither removed all the dead skin like this product does.
The smell and taste are both really good, too, and a stick lasts quite a while because it's hardish and each use doesn't need too much. Overall, very, very happy with it!
