I got this foundation on How To Look Best At Everything, i pick the medium shade so i the foundation shade is I'm So Money Honey. I have combination skin, but when i move a lot it gets more oilier. Finishing is dewy makes me look healthy and vibrant, i kinda like it at first. But then i realise that whenever i wear this foundation i need to blot a couple of times, because if i don't blot it looked greasy and really awful.
I find that using good primer would really help to minimise the oil, though it won't help a lot because trust me this is a dewy foundation. If you don't like the oily/dewy look you won't like this, no matter how good your primer. I wear it with my trusty Smashbox primer and Porefessional, and it still looked dewy slightly oily. Anyway, one day i notice that the foundation looked really good on flash photograph. I was at a concert and a little sweaty and my friend took a picture of me and my husband with flash, when i saw the photo my face looked dewy and made me looked fresh.
Good thing is it doesn't oxidise on me though i'm sure i'm not in the right shade for my NC20 skin. Because Honey is a bit darker for my skin. This is a good foundation, though it looked healthy on me i won't repurchase because blotting every now and then seems not practical, i don't run around carrying blotting paper everywhere.
Blegh. Oxidized to a yucky orange and left my skin feeling slick and gross- impressive, since my skin is dry. Was patchy and seperating within hours, even with a primer and a setting powder. Hate the cheapo plastic packaging. A swing and a miss for Benefit on this one.
Went to Benefit counter in Macys and ask for a full coverage foundation and she said this one was the one she was using and her face looked flawless. So i said ok lets try it, she look for a beige, put it on my face and it was the right color, when se finished putting it she put the powder and it looked even better. I told her I was going home and ask my husband how I look and thank God i did, he said I look so shiny and oily. And i tried by putting my phone on the cheek and all the product was on the screen. Guess what? Next day My whole forehead was full of pimples. Not buying it.
Bought this at a Benefit store in New York because I was in need of a lightweight foundation. A sales associate applied it and I thought it looked good so I bought it on a whim--big mistake! An hour after leaving the store I looked in the mirror and it seemed to be turning orange, as well as melting off my t-zone but getting all chalky and emphasizing other, drier patches of my face. My skin is very fair with pink undertones and it just does not suit the colouring of this foundation. Also, I have combination skin but it's not too dry, and am younger and don't have many fine lines yet. This product brought out the worst in my skin, accentuating oiliness, dryness, and fine lines.
I've tried it with different products underneath and on top, different ways of applying it, and at different points over the last few months but I'm dissapointed every time! All in all, a waste of my money and a lesson learned not to buy things right off the bat! The one good thing I can say about it is the packaging is good and very sanitary, and it does have spf which is a must!!
Hello Orange!!! That's totally what I felt when I applied this foundation, and after it set, I was even more orange! I've tried foundations that were much less expensive that did a better job. And for the amount of color applied, I found that the coverage was medium after being built up at best. I love the dewy look; however, this also left me feeling and looking very oily. I love Benefit products and wanted to love this, but it was promptly returned after my expierence. :(
I'm very fair with pink undertones, and this product would be a 5 star... If it matched my skin tone better. I love the liquid formula, it leaves my dry skin hydrated and well, flawless! I am impressed with how well it looked compared to my favorite Clinique BB Cream foundation, but it is very slightly yellow/orange. I'm using a sample of this in Ivory
I was given this product as a xmas present, my shade is Champagne cheers to me, it is quite a sheer foundation and does not cover up acne or pimples very well
Omg, awful! Glad it was a sample with order, 7ml bottle. Very sheer coverage. Layering did not help much. Had to add the HF power fndn on top ( I do kinda like that ) to look half decent. Still no liquid has been so shiny and oily looking on me ( I`m not oily at all ) so fast, primer or not.
This is my favourite foundation ever! I bought it as soon as it came out and was just smitten by it. The texture is so light and it blends into my skin flawlessly. I have a very fair skin and i use it in IVORY which is just a perfect match for my skin tone.
Its very light so i wouldn't recommend it for people who want a medium or heavy coverage. it basically just evens your skin tone and gives the nice glow to the skin but i wouldn't mast any blemishes and such. If i get any i use a special concealer for them. It does cover the black heads quite well tho. I have a lot on my nose especially and I'm happy with how this foundation conceals them.
The only foundation that i loved as much as this one was the one from Sisley. It had very similar properties but it costed like 80 Euros a bottle. Which is just so expensive! Especially as im a student. Nad the packaging was horrid. You could not pump out just a little every time it will pump with massive dose in your had which was too large for me cause i really don't use that much and it was such a waste. Also it would stop pumping out when it still was loads of foundation inside so u had to screw the head off and dig out the rest.
This on the other hand has an amazing packaging. U can pump out as little as you like and it works fine until its really nothing left in the bottle.
Will definitely repurchase. The price is also a bit high for me but its much better than 80 a bottle!
So close, but just not right and I usually agree w/ Lisa Eldridge who recommends this fdtn. The colors - well you are lucky if you find one of the eight to work. I'm NC25 leaning neutral and got Champagne. Perfect match. But this lasts on my skin about 2 hours. It is a bit greasy as I have dry skin and am suprised that anything would make me oily. I had to even change my primer from HG to Porfessional, and then my face felt so tight. I can't figure out who this would be good for but I give up.
