I am not sure really how to feel about this product... It gives pretty light coverage and the shade range is amazing. But the formula I can't seem to being myself to like. It definitely does not last all day so you need to set it with a setting powder. It has a pretty strong smell to it but I don't notice it throughout the day. I wouldn't repurchase this just because I think there are better options out there.
Ok Maybelline you really messed up with this foundation. From all the adds I thought this was for a younger lady ( teenager-20's). From all the bad reviews you can tell it shouldn't have been. This foundation should be marketed for those of us with dry skin, that need some glow, like myself. If you have oily to combo skin you may not like this unless you use a primer. For my dry- normal skin this works great! It has light-med coverage. The only problem I have is right now during summer I have to powder mid day and it cakes up a bit. I don't know if it's the powder or not. But during the winter when that's not a problem I plan on using this more. Oh and this has a strong floral scent (like Chanel foundations), if I use a brush the smell lingers, but if I use a beauty blender I can't smell a thing.
This was my first foundation and I went through two bottles before I finally realised that it wasn't right for me. Made me skin look ridiculously dewy! Also, it transferred so easily even with powder on top which was so annoying. I also didn't like the fact that it didn't come with a pump and the fact that it was a little TOO runny. It didn't make me break out though and it's a really good foundation at a really good price. Would definitely recommend for people with normal to dry skin (somehow it's really hydrating as well) the coverage isn't too great but hey, you get what you pay for.
I love the fact that the foundation has a pump, as ive mad a habit of only buying foundations with pumps now. At first i didnt love this foundation, but i was okay not ive grown to love it. It has quite long lasting power but doesnt work well if you will be touching your face a lot, say when your bored at school. I got the colour 130 Buff Beige. I would repurchase this product definately.
I have used this product for weeks trying to see if I truly enjoyed it. However it doesn't suit my skin type, (oily, and dry). I am constantly looking for great new products, however this just wasn't for me. I have acne scars and it's too light of a coverage for me. I find that after 4 hours my skin is very oily and it's easily rubbed off. I won't buy this in the future.
It is a really good foundation, best high-street foundation I've ever tried. Its a little to pricey and i have very strong yellow undertones and the foundations tends to be more on the pinky tone. For reference i am NC30 and shade 130 in this foundation
I bought this make-up because of the abundant amount of shades they had. I found my perfect shade which is very difficult for me to do but I wasn't satisfied with the actual make-up. It is the most oily make-up that I have ever bought. Even with powder over it, it still made me look like a grease pot. Plus all I had to do is lightly put my finger on my cheek and all the make-up came off on my finger. I'm hoping for a different result with the concealer because their concealer is the only one that has my shade.
I actually LIKE the simple casing of this product. Things i dont like tho, is that its so slick and oily and it makes my face look dewy and weird. Also, its so damn thick.
This is currently my foundation only for the moment as I have run out of my usual one. I used to have very dry skin, but I'm 5 months pregnant and the pregnancy has made my face oily. This foundation is kinda good for me at the moment because I only have to re-powder once during the day, however it does NO justice for my oily nose. It accentuates my nose blackheads and also makes me look greasy in this area. But, I've let it slide for now and still use it.
Okay coverage, doesn't do the best job for redness but still evens out my skin tone nicely. It's strange when it comes to the shade, I'm 115 light and when I am applying my foundation I could swear that I look bright orange, yet when I give it a little bit it seems to fit my skin tone just fine. One big con about this foundation is that when you step out into the sun, it's easy to look very greasy. Would advise oily skinned girls to avoid.
First of all, if you have oily or even combination skin with an oily T-Zone. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. This was the first foundation I bought and I thought it was perfectly normal for my skin to be shiny after an hour and for me to blot constantly, and for a little to rub off on things and fade through the day. However, now that I've been using the Revlon Colorstay for Combination skin, I know that this was exactly what it should've been: my first foundation.
I'll admit, the pigmentation and colors are precise, and even, when layered, covered up my acne scars beautifully. The undertones were perfect for my skin (350) and is still the perfect color to this day, however, it was not worth having to use a special oil absorbing face soap in the mornings, followed by oil absorbing primer, and topped will Covergirl oil absorbing powder.
Pigments are perfection and beautiful, especially for yellow undertones!
Not for combination or oily skin
Comes off after a few hours, as well as sweats off
