I bought this eyeliner to replace my dried-out Lise Watier Onyx (same principle - gel eyeliner) and pretty much fell in love with it after just one application. I prefer this style of eyeliners (gel in a pot vs. tube) as it lets me work with my preferred eyeliner brush, which is the flat angled eyeliner brush. It does take some time to master working with that brush, but once you do, you will not want to go back to other methods. Anyhow, back to the eyeliner... As the name says "fluidline", this eyeliner was a breeze to apply, in one fluid motion. The consistency is perfect - it is not watery so you have to wait for it to dry, yet it's not dry so that you have a difficulty applying (tugging, etc.). The application was quick and without any errors, which I am sure can be attributed to it's smooth consistency. The colour is your standard black. I can't say I've seen any "graying" of the colour over the course of the day. Longevity is excellent, not transfer for me or flaking, smudging etc. That said, I do use an eyeshadow primer underneath (Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance), so if you are noticing smudging, transfer, etc, I highly recommend using an eyeshadow primer over your eyelids. I just use the eyeshadow primer always, even without any eye makeup as I have a propensity towards oily eyelids. This is a great eyeliner, that performs well, I am curious to see if it will dry out in the pot over a period od time (hopefully not) as this will last a while (you only need a tiny bit for each application). If you've stayed away from eyeliners in the past because you've had difficulties with application, I strongly suggest trying this one in a combo with a flat eyeliner brush. Great product!

Fantastic. The darkest black eyeliner I've come across. It really does stay where you put it and it comes off easily with my MAC cleanse off oil. I use the 210 brush with it which is good but I think an angled brush would be even better.

Blacktrack Fluidline is great! But we all knew that - I purchased because I wanted to save a couple of bucks and went from Stila Smudgepots to Fluidline. I saved three dollars making the switch.
It is smoother than Stila Smudgepots and works like a charm with Sonia Kashuk Bent Eyeliner brush. I used it with 266 and I guess I still need a little more practice to get it just right but overall I am very happy with my purchase!
I haven't had mine long enough to notice any drying yet, by the time it dries out I am sure I will be keeping it as a base.
Ehh.. I have monolids and this smears under my eyes mid morning even with primer. My fav gel eyeliners are Maybellines, Shu's, or Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliners.. they don't smudge as much or at all.
so when i first got this i was really happy with it! however i then began to realise that by the evening it wasnt as dark as it was in the morning when i first applied it.
I use my mac 209 brush 2 apply the eyeliner but i wasnt happy with how it went on. im not used 2 using brushes for applying topliner u c.
i can never get the perfect line with the brush :S hmm maybe its just me
i then used a different brush from my old eyeliner and it just didnt go on as dark as i wanted it to.
dont think i will re purchse! i much prefer my £1.00 liquid eyeliner from the market! gave me much better results and far cheaper.
Could not be without this liner. I have about 6 different liquids that are all sitting there, unused because this on is so incredible. Best gel liner, in my opinion. Also nice that once it's on, it's on! I can workout, sweat, be out all day, and never worry about it wearing off or fading. Not much can hold up to that! Very inexpensive too, for the quality you get. I love MAC.
This is one of my favorite item from mac. it stays all day and doesn't smudge or anything liek that. one little jar lasts forever! you definitely get your money's worth . i would totally get this again if i ever run out (lol)

Lovely, it has great staying power on me and goes on really black. Its easy to remove and easy to correct. Easy to apply with the right brush and its great for ladies without a hand for liquid it also comes in a lot of other shades. I did a comparison between this and the HiP version its a valid dupe but does not quite do fluid line justice.
I love deep dark blackest black eyeliners. This is one of the blackest I've found. This is a daily staple for me, and I've used half of it up. This is saying a LOT from a woman who has enough make-up that she would never need to buy anything ever again for the rest of her life. I love to tightline with this gel e/l. It's smooth and easy to use and it doesn't irritate my eyes. A very solid purchase.
Let me start off by saying that I have always stayed away from eyeliner because i thought they just looked really weird on me, and tended to crease and smudge a lot. I guess this is because i didn't know how to apply it properly and was using the wrong products. However I decided to give eyeliner another try and found this on makeupalley, and used this along with mac brush 208. I love that you can easily control how this eyeliner is spread-thin, thick, defined, smokey, etc., And this has very good staying power too. It'll stay very well, even after I have gone to the gym and sweated a lot. And I do asian lids with eye crease that tend to make me crease. Usually i'll find a little bit of creasing after 6 hours of wear or something, but i just dab it away with my finger, and it's good as new. I do recommend this product. It's easy to use even for a beginner like me.
