WOW! I've never owned any higher-end eyeshadows, or any Urban Decay products in general, but I am SO glad I purchased this palette. It is absolutely amazing! I live in neutral shadows so that was already awesome, but the pigment and staying power of these shadows is what really sold me. These shadows literally last ALL DAY when used in conjunction with the given primer, which is perfect because of my busy days. Absolutely LOVE :)
I won't be over winded since everything that can be said has been said.
This palette is wonderful! Even the brush that comes with it is pretty good.
Possibly my favorite palette ever.
pigmented but powdery. very good range of colors for everyday office/school look.
I'm not a big fan of Urban Decay as I find most of their colours too garish, glittery and OTT ... with the exception of their Naked palette. I was very lucky to get this in a swap, and it's proved to be a make up staple for me. In particular I love Sidecar, with Hustle in the crease, Virgin as a highlighter and Darkhorse as the perfect eyeliner shade. The looks you can create with this palette are endless, there really is never a dull moment. The colour payoff is great, too, lasting all day and with a little trial and error you'll find a personal combination to make your own eyes 'pop'. The only fly in the ointment for me personally is the inclusion of Creep and Gunmetal, two out-of-place greys which seem to stick out like a sore thumb. Other than that, Naked is a great palette, and I can see why it's sold out like hot cakes. I love the velvety feel of the cover, too.
When I first saw this palette, I thought that it would be versatile and that I had to have it since neutral colors are classy, chic and everyday wearable. Upon using it, I found that there was not enough differentiation for me between the various shades of brown. I do not reach for this palette very often and additionally, this as well as a few others of the UD pallettes are not very "purse-friendly" in terms of size and shape.
I love this palette its my new baby lol. Im more of neutral girl so i had to buy this palette even though i have other palettes and whenever i wanted to buy it was out of stock so i waited and waited until i finally got my hands on it! and now im obsessed with it!! the price is okay for a high end eyeshadow palette compared to to other companies! I used it everyday! and you can also do a smokey without it being boring!! I love it and i would recommended to anyone who loves Neutrals or just even makeup!
I am obsessed with this palette. I really only ever wear neutral eyeshadows and I ran into it at Ulta one day and had to buy it. A week or two after I bought it a heavy demand kicked in for the palette and I totally understand. The shadows have amazing pigmentation and lasting power. This is definitely a holy grail product for me, if I could only have one palette it would be this one without a doubt.
i LOVE LOVE LOVE urban decay, and this new palette show exactly why i love UD. This palette is highly pigmented with great colors that are natural, easy to apply, and can easily form shades together! It's fabulous.
I DEFINATELY recommend it to those that are looking for a palette for everyday use!
I don't want to sound like a Debbie Downer... but I don't love this palette. I like it, I do, but I don't love it. I stalked it on line and in the store for a couple of months before finally getting it and like so many others, were totally seduced by the hype. UD was ingenious for putting really popular (and pretty average) neutrals together in a sleek looking palette. There are a couple of really nice colors but most of them are dupable. I realized once I had the chance to really play with the colors at home that I had some MAC shadows that were either complete dupes or close (naked lunch, woodwinked, cork, for example). The palette has a combination of matte, frosty and glittery colors and most of blendable, though one of them looks gorgeous but is down right chunky chunky chalky glitter (sorry can't remember the name of it). I love Darkhorse and Smog (which is close to woodwinked). If you don't have many neutrals and are looking for a palette with easy to use colors, go get the palette. But if you are a seasoned make up collector, you probably have all of these colors already. Overall, it's nice but had I realized how many of the colors are pretty "ordinary", I probably wouldn't have purchased.
I am a big fan of neutral colors.. I don't go crazy on colors lIke green, blue, purple and other loud colors.. And that is the sole reason why I have bought this. This product I can say is overyhyped BUT I think it has delivered to what it has promised.
Colors are very universal, i could prolly say you can find a dupe for ever color BUT it differs how pigmented this is and how easily it blends. I own some eyeshadow that is somehow similar to its colors and let me tell you it does not even come close to how pigmented this palette is!
I just recently bought one since Macys has stocks again. I wasnt planning to spend anything that day but when I saw it on the shelf, I just have to grab one! I gathered all my money and I ended up paying with loose change and dollar bills. But glad I did! For someone like me who likes neutral makeup, you will def appreciate this palette! :)
