I absolutely loved this mascara! I used to use 'Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara' when one day I discovered this hiding away in my drawer. I decided to be adventurous and try out a different mascara and to my delight 3 people commented throughout the day how my lashes looked much longer and thicker than they usually did! I used to have a big problem with my lashes sticking together when I applied mascara, but this one is great for separating lashes but not making them look sparse. I also love the fact that you can layer with this mascara without it clumping as much as other mascaras normally do. I like to use this mascara and then apply 'L'oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara' on top for that extra bit of pizazz. For that reason I'm taking one lippie off as I think five lippies should be reserved for a WOW mascara. However, this is still brilliant to use throughout the day and I will be repurchasing when I run out. x

Forget the claims because lets be honest no mascara ever does what it claims. Maybelline makes usable basic mascara's at a good price. They are cheap enough to throw away when they get gluggy and just buy a new one. That's the main reason why I use them. Nothing annoys me more than paying $40 for a mascara that I have to bin after a month because it went gluggy. This mascara does not build volume or length on me. Luckily my lashes are pretty long and reasonably full anyway. This is basically volume express mascara with a thinner wand which suits me fine. I always found the massive wand in the regular volume express annoying to use. I find this mascara usable because it colours my lashes, coats and seperates them and I don't have a problem with flaking or smuding. As far as I'm concerned that's about the best you can expect from a mascara. If you want fuller, thicker and longer lashes then go get extensions, they do that better than any mascara and it's what the model is wearing in the mascara advertising anyway. This is a basic, everday mascara at a reasonable price. It won't create length or volume and if you build too much it will look cakey just like every other mascara. I've learned in life to just be content with the lashes I have and forget trying to find a miracle product. It works and it's cheap, therefore I buy it.

This mascara is pretty bad. The "Falsies"? Hardly. Not too much volume or length to speak of, and it's not nearly as black as it could be. It did, however, give me fluttery, appropriate-for-daytime lashes. Lots of separation, and the curved brush really gets every single lash. But that's where the honeymoon ends. This mascara flakes just after an hour or two and irritates my eyes. Very, very flakey mascara. And what's worse - if you're like me and you have oily eyes, the flakes will melt and become a smudgy mess. Terrible. I also despise the bright fuschia tube, but that's just me. I've heard that the Black Drama version of this mascara is way better (they claim to have fixed the flaking problem and it's much blacker) so that will be my next purchase. Overall: Great wand, daytime-appropriate, doesn't live up to product claims, isn't dark enough, and flakes and smudges like crazy.

I like this mascara better than DiorShow. I can't believe it but this makes my lashes look long and full. I have no problems with flaking or smudging.

I wish that I had read these reviews before I bought this mascara. Disgusting. I have to wipe the wand numerous times between applications because it is thick and icky! The wand has two parts and it moves, who needs a wand that moves? I need it straight to get it on...ugh...

Makes my lashes way too clumpy than expected. I would prefer my Lash Blast Fusion over this one anyday!

I finally gave in and bought this after reading SO many love/hate reviews, mostly hate from what it seemed. I was browsing at my Target and saw that this mascara is unbelievably inexpensive, a little over $5, so I really couldn't resist. I completely expected to hate it or at the most feel neutral about it. To my surprise I absolutely LOVE this! My lashes are long and straight so I always curl them, but I went out of town and has just this mascara, no curler. I put it on anyways and it completely curled my lashes in such a gorgeous natural way. It really goes on super easily and fans out my lashes, giving a pretty babydoll effect. The only thing negative about this is that the black formula does not stay jet black after its been on awhile, it turns kind of a chalky black, that's why I am going to buy the Black Drama version and see if that makes a difference. I'm so happy I finally decided to try this, my eyelashes are thanking me!

I picked this up at walmart for $5 and it was worth it. The mascara does a great job separating and lengthening. It also adds some volume too. But when I'm applying it on, sometimes big clumps come off and onto my lashes(usually happens on my bottom lashes) then I have to spend more time trying to get the clumps off. I heard some people are complaining that it clumps after the second coat but I was reading the back and it says to NOT let dry in between coats.... Overall great mascara. definitely would repurchase again.
