My first review. When I first purchased this product, I thought it worked really well and matched my skin tone (Asian) until I looked at my face in the sunlight. Geez, it looked so cakey, and you could clearly see where the yellowish spots were on my face. Not attractive.
If I blend too much, it looks more natural, but then you can see my spots. Can anyone recommend a concealer that doesn't look cakey but covers well? I think I am going to try Becca, as the reviews have been very good. Plz help!
As anyone knows, it sucks to have dark circles, and covering them up is an enormous pain! I was quite cynical about this product at first, mostly due to its thick consistancy and the severity of my undereye circles. However, I found it to be just perfect. Unlike sheer light-reflecting products, such as YSL's highly rated Touche Eclat, this concealer is completely opaque and wonderful on dark areas.I also found this suited my dry skin, so long as I moiusturised well before using it.
As well as having dark circles, I also suffer from rosacea, and this is amazing at covering up redness. I think this would be a good product to use over foundation to achieve a more flawless finish.
Reasonably priced at £10, presented in a cute and compact pot (perfect for on-the-go touch ups), and available in a huge array of shades, this is truly a worth-while product. I would certainly recommend it to anyone!
This product has saved me from all of my sleepless nights, stays on all day, and has great coverage. Definatly my favorite concealer to date
I have this in NW25 and it matches my olivey skin. Perfect match for me even can use it without any foundation and it is invisible if I blend well, that it´s a bit difficult if I can say. I apply it with a little brush, all around my eye, as I´m 46 y. old, I´ve all around very dark, or at least It´s my sensation. It´s my firt day of using it but i prefer this than Magic Concealer from Helena Rubinstein that was my favourite because of the prize/quality/ml till today. Here in Europe it´s noy very Known, but I´ll tell all my friends, and there is a lot of different colors to match every skin colour ( as I´m telling you It seems they must be paying me but not al all.........)
The SPF35 is a definitive a plus for me
I like this it covers great and if I set it with powder it lasts all day even on my extremely oily skin. I love the package it is so easy to travel with
I got this in NW15 for my pale pale skin... and it's amazing! It covers everything! It covers scars, red spots, pimples! I love it!
Great concealer for acne, uneven skin tone and blotchyness. I personally prefer creams because they stick to the skin and won't really wear off throughout a days worth. Only thing is this concealers too thick for under my eye, so i use MAC's moisture cover here.
I've been using this for 2 years now (nc35) in the studio finish.
I have been using this as an under eye concealer for some time (NC 35) and it does provide the coverage, but the creasing and the caking just aren’t worth it. I basically only use makeup when I am going to work, which means that I need to be able to apply and get going. This concealer takes too much work to get right. You need primers and powders and time with various brushes. It can look good – if you’ve got the time to do it right and opportunities for maintenance throughout the day. Even then, the upkeep is going to result in it looking cakey. If you just try to put it on with a brush or your finger and leave it at that, it instantly (and I mean instantly) settles into every fine line you did not even know you had. Instead of blending, you end up in a tug-of-war with your under eye, which is never good, all in a desperate attempt to erase the lines created by the makeup. I ended up buying the Smashbox Camera Ready Full Coverage Concealer in the tube to use instead. I must admit that it has slightly less coverage, but no creasing or caking.
decent coverage and nice consistency, the only problem is that the MA gave me nw20 and its a tad to light. i cant use it the way that i would normally use a concealer, so i cant really give a clear review. i have to pat it on sooooo lightly so the color difference isn't really noticeable. I'll have to update if i get the right color to replace it!
MAC's Studio Finish Concealer comes in a tiny pot which makes it easy to carry in your makeup bag.
The concealer at first I thought was too expensive, but I heard good reviews about it and bought it, now its been 5 years since I've been using it! The tiny pot lasts forever, I use this concealer almost everyday, and it has lasted over a year- so the price was worth it!
The product is thick, a little does a lot, and can be applied smoothly with your fingers or with a concealer brush. It best to apply a moisturizer/primer before hand since the product can be cakey and may dry you out a bit.
The coverage is amazing, you can cover the darkest under eye circles, redness and blemishes... everything vanishes!
Overall, its the best concealer I've ever used!
