This was one of my first few concealers. I can't even remember why I purchased it, to conceal dark eye circles or blemishes. The MA matched me to NC 30, which was way too dark for me. The texture was too thick as well. I remember back then, I was just a teen, and it made my eyes show fine lines I didn't knew I had! I did try several methods of application but nothing worked out and in the end, I can't remember if I finally swapped it away or threw it out in frustration.

Like other reviewers, I'm also on the fence with this one. I guess I have to say that I'll be using this until I find a better one. It does have great coverage, but it doesn't completely cover the dark circles. Also, it does seem to sit into the lines under my eyes, which is a prob as I'm only 24 and my lines aren't visible without the concealer!
But, the packaging is great - easy to handle and the product does seem to last forever! I will repurchase unless I find a new HG.
If you're only buying this to cover your dark circles. Please dont.
From my experiences:
-Chalky finish after 5 mins or so
-Looks dry under the eye
-Blends well with a primer of course
-Stays on the whole day, but NOT all of it, just some colour that fills in my eye "lines" =[
-Fades within hours
On the plus side,,
It isnt very expensive, and it should cover large areas if you really need it on the sides of your cheeks. just as long as its blended really well.
-NOT repurchase. does anyone recommend a REALLLY GOOD, HG material undereye concealer? pleasee msg !
I'm on the fence with this product. I don't particularly use this for my undereye area but to cover troublesome spots throughout my face. I'm an NC40ish and the SA suggested the NC35. It provides a good amount of coverage but it is on the yellow side-dark yellow (but then so is the NC40 which I have discontinued using due to visible yellow tones that I could not stand to see on my face--did not have this issue with NC42). I do see that it cakes, and seeps into fine lines (around the nose, lip, etc) if not blended in intensively. I do brush application first but almost always have to smooth it out with my finger 1) to blend the yellow in and 2) warm it into the skin so that it doesn't cake up. It must be done gently as to not totally erase the product completely therefore revealing the blemish-an extra tedious step that I could totally do without. Other than this I've had no other problems, no irritations or breakouts, etc. I will finish this pot-it's going pretty quickly since I use it daily. I'm hoping to find a better color and texture match for me whether its within MAC or another line. So I don't expect to repurchase unless I'm left with no other options.

I've bought this for 7-8 years now. It covers everything, stays put and a pot lasts me forever. Love Mac's color system too, so easy to find a perfect match.
Although this concealer does cover dark spots and my acne scars very well, this concealer is too thick and cakey on my skin. I use NC30 for my foundation, but when the MA at the MAC store put on the concealer for the same number, it seemed too pale. So I bought NC35 instead and the coloring is alright.. Not the best, but I could manage just by blending it in well. I just don't like how my face looks cakey and dried out. I like Select Cover-Up & Moisturecover better. continued >>

Very good heavy duty concealer for my broken caps and undereye circles. Usually liquid concealer slide off my skin but this stays put. I love it. I am a NC30 in MAC and wear NC30 in studio finish concealer,

I'm VERY torn on this product.
I tried two colors, NW15 and NW20. The NC colors were far too peachy so those were ruled out right away. When I got home I applied NW15 under my eyes. It was way too light. NW20 was perfect under my eyes... well, close to perfect. But when I applied NW20 to my scars on my cheeks and neck, it was FAR too orange. It looked absurd. NW15 did the job well on my face. It covered everything. I've never found a concealer that covers my red acne scars, but this did it without a problem! I apply it with my fingers (though perhaps not the most sanitary) because otherwise I find it cakes. It starts to melt when it's on skin so it applies well and gives a natural finish.
My only issues are the colors. I would like something between and NW15 and NW20. For now I will use NW15 because I'd rather be a bit more pale than look orange, but I will continue looking for a better color match from another line. It's a shame because it really is a wonderful concealer! I put "yes" to would I buy again because of the fabulous coverage, but if I find something comparable with a better color match, I will change it.
HG. Lemme just get that out of the way.
So, if you maybe bothered to ask one of the MAs at MAC, they might mention that this would be better suited for covering blemishes. And for girls with acne scars, this is a godsend. it`s opaque enough and won`t look cakey.
This one lasts quite a long time even with daily usage. I`ve had mine for a year. I know, eww. As always, with MAC, you get more bang for your buck. ;)
I am very fair and have super dark circles that make me look like a drug addict that never sleeps, when in fact I get 8 hours or more sleep every night and the only drugs I take are vitman C, B and a multi-vitman. They have been there forever and I have been on the hunt for the perfect concealer ever since my Mom started letting me wear makeup back in my teens (I'm 30 now).
THIS IS NOT IT!!
I wanted this to be it. I tried really hard to make it 'The One'. I used different foundations under it, different powders over it and nothing worked. If anything it made the problem worse, more noticable. It creased and seemed to change colors half way through the day looking very fake. At best it only kinda covered the dark area when I first put it on. This product might work well for light, or average dark circles but skip it if you have a serious problem with them. Your money would be better spent on a pair of good sunglassess to just hide behind. :(
