So I've been using this palette for about 3 months now and I think I'm ready to give it a proper review. Since I've purchased this I have not used any of my MAC shadows only this. Naked/Buck/Darkhorse are the most awesome colors for the perfect neutral smoky look. I love Gunmetal for a really dramatic smoky look. Other than that I don't care for the other colors. Virgin is a beautiful color but it looks ashy and weird against my skintone and the other lighter tones are too glittery to use. Hustle is a gorgeous color but yet again too much fall out. I don't dislike this palette, but like everyone else, I do really wish there were more matte shades because- excellent blendability, color payoff, and staying power.

Finally got mine yesterday. When I opened it, my daughter and I gasped! Such lovely neutrals. I love purples, greys and pinks but for conservative look for the office (five days a week), this palette is perfect. Can not go wrong with any of the shades. Even if you really pack it on, this palette should last a while. There are a few shades that have shimmer with glitter (thus the 4 rating). For any age, this palette is recommendable. Definitely buying again (backup).
Pros:
1.3g x12shadows is almost the full size 1.5g if bought separately
work appropriate
pigmented so palette will last long
buildable
all you will need for smoky or neutral looks
available again at Sephora

Cons:
some shadows have glitter
packageing quite long so does not fit into all makeup bags
expensive (but good investment)

The colors are nice, but I wish there were more mattes. The only ones I liked were Virgin, Buck, and Naked. Sidecar is horrible with glitter fallout, but a nice color aside from that. I do find that the mattes blended nicely unlike MAC's mattes (not matte2 though).

I'm not a fan of the primer potion I feel it doesn't work as well as TFSI. The liners are great! I absolutely love them.

I would not by this again if I ran out of any colors or all of them at all due to the price, and the fact that the colors, while being great, weren't all that special.

So I ended up returning this. I really do think there was something wrong with mine. None of the colors, with the exception of Half Baked, showed up on my skin, and I tried using both UDPP and my Painterly Paint Pot. (I am an NW20) I had just picked this up from ULTA, and I believe that UD has been putting out a more mediocre version of this lately in order to meet demand. What a shame!

I am not a Naked Palette rave reviewer . I like this palette A LOT! I think the colors are a very pretty , useful variation on the neutral/ natural colors that we use 90% of the time . For me I am having a serious love affair with sidecar and half baked. those colors will probably NOT MAKE IT :) and will have to be repurchased separately ( side bar : please email me with swaps on these colors or dupe suggestions!) but the other colors are nice but nothing too special to me . I love the quality , blendability the ease of matching colors ( it would be hard to make a bad eye with this palette unless you went heavy handed) and I think the price is more than fair with the individual colors costing 17.00 each you would only get 3 for the price of this palette .
In my opinion this is a definite 8 of 10 , I think having a choice of brush or pencil would have swayed my opinion slightly but a positive experience and I am pleased with my purchase

The colors are gorgeous and the quality is very good, though I wish this palette wasn't so expensive. I really dislike the brush that comes with it, the bristles are very stiff. It feels more like a concealer brush than an eyeshadow brush, and doesn't deposit much color regardless of how much is on it. A $2 brush from Target does a better job, for that reason I gave this a 4 instead of a perfect 5.

I love this palette... everyone who loves UD knows how creamy, blendable, and overall gorgeous their shadows are so this I had to buy. The brush that comes with it is great for an allover wash of color or crease work and I think it's a great value to come with the palette. I really love the Naked and Buck matte shades, and Virgin is so so pretty for a highlighter color. There is not one shade in this set that I would never use, and that's rare to get with a palette. Overall these shades all really make my blue eyes pop and would look good on absolutely anyone! Well worth the price for 12 full sized shadows all in a cute palette plus the brush. If you're on the fence, I say go buy this now :)

everyone must have this palette. it's the one eyeshadow palette that every girl should have in her collection. there's no other value that beats this one. especially if you're addicted to neutrals. you can still create a sultry smokey eye with the darker shades in the palette, but this is great for anyone. even beginners who want to experiment at an extraordinary price.

If there's one eyeshadow palette that is worth the money and the hype, this is it. Nothing beats the Urban Decay Naked Palette in my book. The quality and the quantity of the products that you get in a nicely put together sleek case make this an excellent purchase. With 12 amazingly pigmented eye shadows, 2 smudge-proof and budge-proof eyeliners, and a travel sized eye shadow primer that truly delivers, this palette is worth every penny. $48 is by no means inexpensive, but when you think of all the high quality items that you get with this kit, it's easy to overlook the price. Sure, not everyone is a fan of glittery/shimmery/metallic eye shadows which Urban Decay is known for (aside from the cult-favorite UDPP), but you certainly have to give them props for including at least two matte shades in the palette. Besides, Urban Decay never scrimps on quality in their eyeshadow palettes. The eye shadows are always buttery/creamy, smooth, (with the exception of MCRA and a few other gritty shades which are not in this palette) pigmented and long lasting with or without a primer. Aside from the variety of finishes of the eye shadows in this kit, the range of colors is also something that is worth noting. This palette can easily take you from day to night, from simple to glamour.

This is, for me, the best eyeshadow palette I've ever spent my money on.

I loved this product. I was so happy to find one in stock with the eyeliners, because I had been dying to try Urban Decay's eyeliners. All of the colors were amazing. Only downside for me was I wish there were more matte colors. I loved the colors but don't like wearing all shimmery colors all over my eyes at the same time. The eyeliner were amazing. They went one smooth and they were easy for me to apply.
