I've had this product since last year .My thoughts for this product is mixed. it's in the middle of a "hit & miss" kind of thing. So when I first bought it, I thought- "wow"!!- it came with a brush and the packaging is a lil bit classy. It is in a small jar, with a crystally or transparenty-ish look . HOWEVER!, after using it for several months non-stop. I noticed that it isnt really long lasting unlike what the product claims it to be. The little brush gets hard like a cement after using it. it doesnt smudge however it just disappears after a 1 hour of putiing it on so u have to retouch a lot of times during the day and especially during the night out. Thecolour is great. it really is black. an intense black.
Though I wouldnt repurchase it again. I'd rather look for another gel liner or stick with bobbi brown gel linier its amazing though expensive!

i hope this helps! if anybody has a question feel free to ask me,

It is a lovely eyeliner but unfortunately it didn't work for me.
I have somewhat oily hooded eyelids but generally have no problem with eyeliners but this one smudged in no time. I guess it has something to do with my chemistry because I gave it to a friend that is similar to me and she gives it 5 stars.
So my overall advice is to get it. It is good quality and reasonably priced. Chances are you will like it.

Love this eyeliner.
Does exactly what it says. Waterproof, long lasting and no smudging and reasonably priced. Will certainly repurchase :)

I love this gel liner. I have absolutely no complaints about it whatsoever. It doesn't wear off or smudge or smear. I don't usually wear eye liner but when I do for a night out I like to do a wing and this is wonderful. I hate liquid it's to messy and sloppy. This is precise and creamy. I have it in the black and in espresso.

And yeah DO NOT forget to put the lid on because it will dry. I have already ruined 2 of mine and had to repurchase :'(

I'm very happy with this eyeliner. The black is a true black and the purple has a hint of metallic sheen to it. I have the charcoal and brown too, but I never use the brown, it's not particularly exciting.

The eyeliner is ridiculously easy to apply, the brush is fantastic. You can apply a thin line or thicken it up for more drama. I haven't had any issues with smudging, although I always use an eye primer.

The price is great too. Just don't leave the lid off because it dries out after a couple of hours.

I love this eyeliner! I use it religously and think it is one of the best gel eyeliners I have ever tried (trust me, I've tried alot). It is affordable and wearable(: The only problem I have with it is that it smudges sometimes and dries out easily in the jar, so when you use it, put the lid back on in between dipping the brush in the product. Other than that, this liner is wonderful. You get a lot of product, it is pigmented, and versatile...you can do cat eyes, a thin line, thick, whatever! If you haven't tried this product, I highly recommend you do!

i am absolutely shocked at what a good purchase this is.
i alwYs preferred pen thpe eyeliners however i am bowled over at how good this gel liner is. & further, ore impressed that a drugstore brand like maybelline has such a fantastic one.
the price is great, the product is excellent - i have absolutley no complaints, only praise.
those complaining about smudging should double check they are allowing the product to set properly before applying further products but i have no smudging at all. either this or if you are prone to oiliness, this could be a problem too. i have dry skin so im hoping that has in some way been for me in this case!
highly recommended. check it out! continued >>

Ive used this liner for about three years now and Im on my third pot now which is about out and time to repurchase a new one (so they last about a year). Before I used this gel liner I used mac's backtrack and stila's black gel eyeliner as well both of these dried up before I was able to use them up, the Stila gel liner dried up after two months when the majority of the liner was still left in the pot. Thats why Ive stuck to maybelline's gel liner because even though after several months( about 8 or 9) the texture does become slightly less creamy but definitely still perfectly usable with my elf studio angled eye liner brush.

I like this gel eyeliner. I've only tried the black colour, but it has really great pigmentation. It is very black and it's not shiny which I like. It stays on for a long long time, but as it is a gel eyeliner it can smudge, so don't go rubbing your eyes to much or it'll leave a black smeary mess. It's pretty waterproof as well which is nice. I even like the little brush it comes with, it works well enough to apply the product so there's no need to go buy another brush. There are only a few things I don't like about it:
When you first apply it, it can transfer very easily. I like to apply eyeliner to the whole top lash line all the way to the inner corner of the eye, and I find the eyeliner will usually transfer to the bottom lash line in the inner corner. It's easy to remove so it's not a big deal, I just don't like the look and feel like I need to check on my eyeliner a few times to make sure it stays in that area.
It's also kind of a pain to put on. I usually use liquid pen eyeliners because you just need to swipe them over the lash line a few times and you're done. This gel liner takes a lot longer to apply, and it's harder to remove if you make a mistake. It also gumps up my eyelashes so I need to be careful to remove that right away or I might blink and get it all over my eye... Normal liquid liner usually takes me about 1 min. to apply both eyes, but with this it takes me twice or 3 times as long depending on how many mistakes I make.
Other than those few things, I love it! It's way cheaper than other gel liners and works just as good. I actually like it better than the one MAC makes!

Love it. I love that it's truly black, the brush is amazing, and it doesn't smudge for me. I can wear this inside the waterline with no pain, and it's simple enough for every day or a dramatic look. Lately I've been leaving some product on the brush, I know I know, yet it helps keep the tip sealed for the next time. So though maybe I wouldn't recommend doing that, just sharing :) I also have this in plum and it looks pretty but doesn't go on dark enough, so I hardly use that one, but in black it's a staple.
