I've heard great reviews on this particular mascara more than other Covergirl mascara's. So when i was in my local drugstore i picked this one and the 24 Hour one in the black packaging. The other Covergirl Lash Blast mascara (black one) was ok, but it was so hard to take off that it just wasn't worth the pain of scrubbing my eyes. This one however, i had better expectations. I was suprised when i was very dissapointed in this mascara. It went on fine, made my lashes look great. Very long and thick. Just how i like it. So after i put it on, i put on the rest of my makeup and left home. I was out for maybe 4-5 hours but when i came back home and looked in the mirror, i was horrified. I had black residue under my eyes and it had flaked all over my eye area. Panda eyes had returned! I quickly wiped it all off and woved to never use it again. Sorry Covergirl, mascara is not your strong side.
This by far, has to be my absolute favourite mascara! It has a very thick and dry formula, so girls who have thin lashes like me, this could be your holy grail!
The packaging is cute but tends to get dirty very easily.
The formula is thick, dry which is great to create spidery lashes (if coated many times) but it can be natural looking with one or two coats.
Not much of a smell, or at least I can't tell and its just great for those girls next door.
Doesn't irritate my eye and super easy to come off (not waterproof btw).
The wand is rubber bristles which I prefer the fibre ones.
Hope this was helpful!

I found it to be a big disappointment! it really provides no extra volume, it dries up fast & flakes easily. Won't buy this again. continued >>
This mascara is ok... gave my lashes length but not "Oh wow!" length and also just decent amount of volume. Smudges on my oily lids and under eyes at the end of the day. Not the best but not so awful either... On to the next...
I don't like the original lash blast (orange), but lash blast fusion (purple) is my go to mascara. I'm always trying new mascaras, but I always have one of these just in case. My eyelashes suck, but this gives them quite a bit of volume and a little length, and separates pretty good as well. I'll continue using this until I find my HG mascara.
I used to swear by this mascara, as it was the first one I ever really used.
However as I grew in my makeup journey I realized the formula is nothing special, it's really just the brush that helps volumize lashes.
The formula flakes and gets on my skin often and that isn't a cute look for anybody!
I just feel as if there are TOO many mascaras out there to be using one that is flaky and on the higher side of pricing for Drug store mascaras.
When looking for a mascara, I look for how well it volumizes, holds a curl, and lengthens, and this mascara only lengthens. It smudges a little bit for me as my skin is oily everywhere (including above and below the eyes), does not volumize as well as other mascaras that I've tried, and leaves a brittle-like texture after it has dried. This mascara also does not hold a curl. I will not be repurchasing this product - I even returned it because it was relatively more expensive than other drug store mascaras.
I used this mascara for about 2 years and loved it! It does a great job separating, adding volume, and lengthening my lashes. The problem I have with it is that in the past few months it has been irritating my eyes. I wear contacts and finally figured out that mascara was causing irritation to my eyes. I stopped wearing it and noticed that the irritation went away. I'm sad to be leaving it and hopefully I can find a cheap alternative
